      Lucid dream short film

OK, so i am planning on making a short animated film about lucid dreaming.

Its all hypothetical at the moment, but the basic idea is a 3-5 minute short using 2d and 3d graphics/animation.

So maybe you can help me out with some idea's of characters / environments and main plot development.

I'll be having a rifle through people's dream journals .etc. Do i need to ask for permission to use bits of other peoples dreams??

      Aight-

If you just credit the dreamer, or change the details up enough to make it different, you shouldn't have a problem~

Try not to go with the average cliche introspective shy character, here. Overdone, in my opinion. Good luck, let us see when you're done!

      Sounds very interesting!
If I was to make something like that, it would end up looking like a commerical for "Reading Rainbow" lol
I have a lot of flying dreams but rarely any lucids.
Perhaps you could expose the dark side of lucids... like start it out with the person falling asleep and being in a funhouse of "cloned" images that he could express lucid themes using. Because the images would be cloned, it could possibly give a more vivid impression that it's not really happening in life or isn't some random, uncontrollable dream.
Or he could be making a list of lucid goals that the viewer would see before zooming in on the person falling asleep.

Let us know how your venture goes?
