I never have to do reality checks?

In all of the lucid dreams that I have had, I have never doubted that I was in a dream after the thought that I may be in one crossed my mind. It is almost as if I 'remembered' that I was dreaming with absolutely no doubt, I also never had to work it out or anything. I thought that this may have been because I was doing MILD but I haven't always done WILD to LD.

Is this the same for anyone else?

Some folks have more natural abilities than others, just like with music, sports etc. Be proud!

I personally am not a natural, but I do find that the more I work on reality checks, my journal, and hanging out on DV, I can slip into lucidity easier and even skip the RC. Also, people who practice heightened levels of awareness during the day, find that they don't need to depend on RCs so much. Basically, it's different for everybody.

If I become lucid through realization that it's a dream I always have a niggling doubt. I know it's a dream but still don't chance it.

Like this morning I was walking up a hill. I'm pretty afraid of heights in real life and I realized I was dreaming. I still had a little vertigo and was unsure of just jumping of and flying away. I had to do a little floating reality check just to be sure I wasn't going to die, lol.

Sounds pretty nifty not having to do reality checks, but how clear are the dreams? I recently learned whenever I am in a public location and naked at the same time, I am dreaming. I always thought those naked dreams were for comedies and stuff like that but it happens a lot to me! Also, how good is your memory? Thats probably a factor in why you don't have to reality check

The clearness of my dreams in general is good enough that I can remember thinking and reaching logical conclusions in my dreams(non lucid and lucid). My dream recall has improved in the way that I am now able to remember a higher number of scenes of dreams and higher detail of them, although I am rarely able to remember long parts of a dream.

Most of the time I just know I'm dreaming, no confirmation required. However there's been a few times where I was absolutely certain I was awake and did a RC only to find out I was asleep. What a nice surprise that was

A few times I have this random feeling I am dreaming and am 99% certain I am. Just to be sure I always do a reality check because I don't want to jump out a window in real life when I think I am dreaming. I think almost everyone has experienced the feeling they know they are dreaming at least a few times.

I also have only one of the two(Completely sure I'm dreaming or completely sure that I'm awake) in dreams when I think about whether I'm dreaming. Lots of the time in bad dreams I wish that I'm in a dream but am sure that I am awake. Also as I'm fairly new, I tend to sometimes do reality checks that don't work such as the finger through your hand RC.
