      Welcome to Dreamviews!

Congrats on your lucid dream No worries, first ones are usually that short. They will get longer, as you gain experience. Good place to start is the Beginners guide to lucid dreaming. You can also check out the DV academy. New Intro class starts 6/4/12.

But for tonight, keep the excitement going. Tell yourself that you have another lucid dream tonight and don't question it. Remember the happy feeling you had when you realized you are dreaming. The basic mantra you can start with is to say "Next time I'm dreaming, I look at my hands and realize I'm dreaming" while looking at your hands/palms. Do this couple of times during daytime. Each time when you say it, recall the happy feeling you had when you realized you dreaming. Also, repeat this mantra (without looking at hands) as you falling asleep. Make this to be a last thought before falling asleep. You can do the WBTB again, but you don't have to. You may have notcied, that the mantras (sentences you repeat) are all in present tense, never in future.

Read as much about lucid dreaming as you can - especially about dream control and stabilization. It may come in handy tonight Happy dreams

Try spinning...studies have shown that spinning while lucid dreaming is 22 to 1 more likely to prolong the dream. Rubbing your hands together is 13 to 1 more times likely!

Spinning is also very likely to wake you up. So try at your own risk
