NST - Named Subconscious Technique And Tulpa

Similarity is amazing. Any opinions and explanations?
Goodbye Brielle, Only whispers can tell
Of the sweet dreams that we knew so well
I'll see you around our dear ocean town, The frozen days we set ablaze
Sent me drifting away, Like a butterfly, I floated by and now I'm alone
I wish I knew when I'll be back again, So until then I wish you well
So until then I wish you well, For the time being farewell
      My dear Brielle...

There not similar. NST technique is identical to all other awareness techniques, just that some mistakenly think that the unconscious brain is it's entity. For the sake of the technique it's necessary to at least imagine it is a person. You are building up the ability to critically think in your dreams through the same mechanisms using prospective memory and familiarity with the dream as most other mantra techniques.

Tulpas on the other hand are believed to be actual living beings who you can communicate with in your dreams. The idea is not based on any scientific principle and isn't necessarily always linked to lucid dreams.

My opinion on both of these is that they are nonsense to a large extent. As I said, too much people utilize NST thinking their "subconscious" is a superior separate personality to themselves, you are absolutely just as well off with the standard MILD techniques and some devotion.
Tulpas have no place in attaining lucidity. The people who claim to be in contact with tulpas have never proven they exist, and most are unwilling to even go about it. I have personally tried to find a tulpa along the recommendation of a friend but there was no results.

Thanks dutch. Can you elaborate on the part of how this creates critical awareness?
