Proper way to use binural beats?

Okay I'm going to go into exploring binural beats. Is there a "proper" way to use them?
Do you just fall asleep and automagically get a lucid dream by random chance, or is it more like an enchancer and you're supposed to FILD/WILD with it?

I don't know exactly. I think that in order to use them 'properly' you have to do meditation beforehand. I've never used them before, so I wouldn't know. Sorry but you're going to have to do some research on your own if you want to find out more.

I have not used them, but I understand their nature. The best moment will be during a WBTB. When you get to bed, put the beats on (use properly quality headphones, or have a surround system in your bedroom.) It will help you to either WILD or it will set your brain in a more aware state that it will help you "not to buy" the dream signs and thus, turning lucid. Some beats also will make you actually hear them in your dream, and you will realize you are dreaming.

alright, i see. I kinda thought they were their stand alone method, but I really doubted that. I tried the ones that try to make you lucid mid-dream, but they just wake me up, even at lowest volume!

Yeah i've tried looking them up but like most guides they just say put the beats in and there you go, but i guess its more obvious than i think it is.

Nope and yes. They are but always, you want to help aids to aid you more.

Let's say that beats increase a 10% your chances to have a Lucid Dream. Your skill lets say that adds another 10%. Your skills plus the beats are a 20% chance.

Adding a WBTB will increase another 20% and doing reality checks give you a 15% and having a Dream Journal another 5%. This is a total of a 40% extra, plus your 20% chance adds to 60%

If you add further methods you will increase your % to a point where you can induce a lucid dream at will, what would be a 100% So it is not a matter of a miracle pill that will hit you with a 100% chance alone, but it is about stacking "buffs" to get you up there
