      How to find rem cycles.

I'm going to keep this thread short and simple because all I'm looking for is some advice to find my rem times during the night. I've tried a few times by setting alarms during the night and then trying to remember a dream. So far I haven't really remembered any dreams from doing this. Also I don't wake up during the night after dreams so I can't really find out my rem cycle like that. I'm open to try any sugestions so I can start getting more results.

Try to notice your natural awakenings that occur after every dream. That time of awakening is right after a REM cycle ends from what i believe..

Rem cycles are longest 4-8 hours of sleep so it's best to adjust to that.

Also what really really works well for me is affirmations, as I'm fall asleep I'll repeat 'I will remember my dreams' over and over and 70% of the time I'll wake up with abit or ALOT of dream recall

What works for me is to drink two glasses of water before you are going to sleep, the time you wake up because you need to pee, is right after a REM stage.

This sounds promising I'm going to do this as well as use affirmation. Hope it works.

Yeah I do that too. It makes me need to get up and pee at least 2 or 3 times a night so I can do a quick WBTB.

      "There's an app for that"

a device with no ability to detect your eyes or your brain how can it possibly know when your in REM

the answer is with tons of sensors on its backside and 'algorithmically'

it seems impossible yet it works well enough for Intel to pay $100,000,000 for the technology

was the BASIS Health Meter now BASIS Peak (from Intel) and yours for the not so low
price of a half a millionth of what Intel paid.

put it on and go to sleep, then hook up on line to the algorithm and see your REM periods.

There is only one slightly more reliable method and that's checking into a sleep lab

neither one is perfect and they are both about equal, so spare your self a trip to the lab
and grab one, the price seems to have fallen lately. (I don't own one yet myself)

Sure LUCID DREAMS are all fun and games until someone loses a third eye.
