Do you haveto say matras out loud?

Was just wondering.....if i was to voice record me saying a mantra then listening to it back on a loop will it have the same effect? I know visualization helps aswel as just saying it but if its on in the background in my ears phones will it on some level reach my subconcious in a way or is it far better to just say out loud or in your head ur mantra? Thankx

Whatever works best for you!

I personally don't but if you struggle to keep at it internally, externally is fine.
