      Meditation problem?

Iv been meditating twice a day for 10mins or once a day for 20mins for the past 3-4 weeks now.My dreams have become more vivid but my lucidity rate has remained the same.
Do you think that something like meditation takes quiet a while untill i see more frequent lucid dreams?
I do the simple mindfullness breath meditation....i think ik going to make the duration of my meditation longer soon....btw i dont meditate in order to have a w.i.l.d i do it in order to have more D.i.L.d.s plus i like all the other unrelated effects it has on me.thanks

Probably will take a while. Just keep it up.

Have you noticed any other improvements in your life?

My recall is alot better and my dreams are longer and abit more vivid...i think due to it only bieng like 1 month that iv been doing it i shouldnt be expecting miracles but im glad im a patient person....im currently changing my meditation routine as doing 20min sessions feel too long and i want to enjoy my meditation instead of wondering when the 20mins is up...so iv decided on my days off i will meditate 10mins every 2 hours and when at work i do one session of 20mins. I hope in a few months time i will notice an increase in awareness during my sleep fingers crossed =D

If your goal is to have lucid dreams, then you might incorporate lucid dreaming techniques into your practice. Mindfulness can help you become lucid, but it does not particularly train the critical thinking/reflection that most people use to get lucid. Especially if you are training to have DILDs, then you would want to incorporate a DILD technique, such as reality checks, or critical reflection. Also, if you are not doing WBTB, you might want to do that.
