      HELP can't lucid dream!!!

I'm one of those people who will loose interest fast and get discouraged easily and just can't lucid dream. I'll try for a month and then get discouraged and give up. I can't do the reality checks all day thing either no matter how hard I try to remember to. I can't tell between reality and not because I sleep very deep and my dream could be clear as day but my head is too fuzzy. To make everything even more impossible I can't wake up and try to go back to sleep because I HATE being woken up and will fall back asleep without even remembering i'm supposed to be trying to lucid dream. Any suggestions on what could help me stay exited about lucid dreaming because I REALYYYY want to learn. Also what would be a good technique to try?
      Thanks in advance

Remember all the fundamentals; and I say that because 95% of my problems regarding lack of regular lucidity can be traced back to them.
Make sure to keep a dream journal first and foremost. Even if you don't become lucid, normal dreams can be just as interesting to record.
Forget to reality check? That's okay, I forget all the time too. Even if it's just one RC a day, it's more helpful than zero.

I would suggest trying the WBTB tech with an alarm, preferably one that shuts off on its own. At the moment of waking, stop and do everything you can to recall the dream you just had. Write down anything at all you remember--a color, a feeling, a word, an object, anything that was a part of your dream. If waking up in the middle of the night is not an option, do it in the morning. Eventually, with repeated practice, you'll recall more and more each time on average.

      Hope this helps.

"just can't lucid dream", you're right, not with that mindset. You need to change your perspective on how you view lucid dreaming. More often than not it is more of a lifestyle than just a "whenever you feel like it" type of thing. It takes dedication, willpower, persistence, consistency, and a lot more. While that may seem like a lot of stuff, when it comes down to it, it's really not.
As for remembering to do RC's, try forming a habit. There's honestly so many moves you can make in order to progress with your lucid dreaming journey, you just need to take the time and effort to find out what it is that fits you. Maybe start reading some books about Lucid dreaming, or even start journaling your dreams if you aren't already. In all though, take some time to plan it all out in your head. What approach do you want to take? What method do you feel will fit you best?

Regarding techniques, give them all a try. Pick one and stick with it for some time, and if you don't like it, go on to the next one. Since you don't seem fond of WBTB. try out MILD. Or maybe since you seem to fall asleep quickly, give WILD a go.

Remember, what you focus on grows. The more time you put into something, the more you'll get out of it, but it may require you to step outside your comfort zone.

      Goals:
-Become Lucid in every dream every night
      -Perfect the time dilation watch
-Continue to have a dream plan for most of my lucid dreams

So you want to LD without changing anything about yourself? Not possible.

Imagine someone coming into a gym and saying "I can't play basketball because I can't dribble, shoot, pass, or play defense" and then leaving, this is like a gym for your mind! lol. You don't come here because you can lucid dream, you come here to learn how and to practice. Have trouble sticking with things? Then make a deadline, I will LD for 6 months and I can quit then, when you want to quit, just think "I will quit when those 6 months are over". Have trouble being discouraged? Well, I always say that one of the big differences between a child and an adult is that an adult does what he decides to do, while a child does what he feels like. Am I telling you to grow up? Maybe, maybe not. You might just be like this about hobbies and not other things in waking.

The WBTB is going to be your best friend while LDing, it raises awareness, presence, intent, attention, recall, and lets you bring those closer to your next dream sequences. I have yet to meet someone that LDs every night that doesn't wake up throughout the night, now this might be because during your LDs, you are "there" so when the dream ends you always notice the waking, but I think that it is both reasons. I recommend 4+ WBTBs a night.
