Personally, I think it sounds like you just had an ordinary "dry spell" of lucid dreams, I doubt that it had anything to do with the books, but maybe i'm wrong. |

ok so i think i've stumbled on something strange. i was having some nice lucidity, you know, that time period when you get more lucids than normal, but then i started reading books, like fantasy, and suddenly i can't ludic dream anymore. i do everything the same but that. my friends, who aren't reading, are having the same success as before, but i couldn't for the life of my LD. then i finished the series, and couldn't read for a bit cause of the schoolwork, and suddenly, LDs again. has anyone else had that happen to them? i think that the problem is the suspension of disbelief so much in reality makes it hard to disbelieve in dreams. any other opinions? |

as i was falling asleep last night, i said to myself, i will remember my dream, i will know i'm lucid, i will know i'm lucid, i will know i'm lucid. then i saw dinosaurs running at me and i said, "Holy Crap! i wish i was dreaming!"
