      Lucid Food

Im kinda confused about what kinda food can increase the chance for a lucid dream, some say this and some say that, for me milk and cheese seems to help(or mabey thats just in my head) others say chocolate may help or peppermint?(or even popcorn?) Its not that I really need it because milk and cheese works for me, but I just wanna know if its actually trew or mabey the thought that it is true simply triggers something making you more confident.Something like giving somebody with a headache a pill saying it will help while its just something that doesnt do anything.
Does "Lucid Food" work for you people?

mm, like a placebo effect? I've also heard vitamin-B helps, maybe even taking aspirin. Also, about milk and cheese...I think one way to narrow down the list is to just say dairy products generally may have an effect, rather than remembering every little thing someone says.
I'm not sure if anything helps me yet, I've had no definite results. But the first time I tried one of the suggested things I did have a long and vivid dream. I'm not going to make a final judgement until I'm better at this whole thing in general.

Chinese food, especially with a few beer will make for a wild night of dreaming. I think it has more to do with your digestive system acting up than anything else.

Any diuretic would help, becuase then you wake up several times to go to the bathroom and are more likely then to wake up again in your dream.

You are on the right track! I have to empty mine every night around 4 am. Most of my LDing occurs between 4-6am on workdays and 4-8 on weekends!

seeker, the idea of levels of brain chemicals makes alot of sense, and food interacts with that.

They also say Vitamin B would help, that could be right because vitamin B helps you to transmit information to your brains faster and increase brain activity or something,so possibly alotta B vits would give you more vivid dreams and also increased chance for a lucid
