      Constantly Feel Tired in Lucids

This problem has been bugging me for a while, and I've tried many different techniques to try and make it not happen, but no luck yet.

During most of my Lucids, I always get this feeling like I'm really tired, and am about to fall asleep. Its sometimes hard to even keep my eyes open in my Lucids. At times, I try so hard to keep them open, that I accidentally force open my real eyes, ending the dreams. This has happened quite a few times, most recently, last night.

I'm wondering, how common is this, and is there anyway to overcome the problem? This is my biggest stepping stone when it comes retaining Lucidity. I can seem to achieve it easy enough, but hanging onto it, due to this problem, is rather hard.

      So, tips?

This happens to me all the time and I think it is pretty common. Personally, it happens mostly in WILDS where I start out in my bed. Because it starts in my room, I can get going without full vision.I usually just end up ignoring the barely opened eyes and just start the dream. Then it fixes itself in like 20 seconds.

There was one time where I had the "lucid blindness" but I was just happy that I was in a dream. So I started to dance in joy. Then the blindness went away. So maybe a positive attitude can help. Like with most tasks in a lucid dream, frustration is your worst enemy.

I really have no other advice. The exhaustion is just like the blindness in that it is like a wall you have to get through. After you force yourself up (motivated by the fact that your dreaming) you feel fine. But there are times when the exhaustion has been too incapacitating for me to move. In which cases, I attempt the insta-orgasm which involves no movement. But that is pretty much just giving up and throwing in the towel.

Well, I'm going to try just holding still for a minute, and just try some easy breathing in my next dream, and hopefully it'll get my mind straight, and I'll be able to hang onto the dream. I've done it a few times, but not many. A good majority of my dreams end up with me in that really sleepy state.

Yeah, taking a moment can help. This reminded me of something I could have said earlier. Sometimes to get rid of the blindness or whatever, I just focus on my hands or something with the little vision I have. Then the world comes into view around it.

The one insta-orgasm I did ended up being more like a sustained plateau. It was still enjoyable nonetheless. Who needs women anyway when you can just...POP?

      haha, the Insta-gasm sounds fun.

Yeah, I'm gonna try that tonight (hand staring). I can probably WILD easy enough now, I've had a bit of practice this month and last month with it, and I am getting better. I can reach SP every time now, but progressing past that is a problem at times. But if I can do it, I should be able to enter with full awareness in my dream, and hopefully be able to take that moment to focus on my hands.

If I can overcome this, I'll be able to have perfect lucidity I think. I can already control the dream to a high degree... I just normally can't hang onto my dream long enough to enjoy it for long and really press the boundries of control.
