      Walk your way to Lucid

I had the most cool experience last night and it mixed a few techniques by accident.
I want some people willing to try new technique combo's to try this.
What can it hurt....it got me Lucid

So here's the thing. I went to bed a bit early as I had been drinking alcohol through the afternoon. It gets me real tired later. I went to bed about 2 hours earlier.
I am not saying to drink...only try going to bed a little earlier.
I found my body clock was waking me up in the early hours as my body must have had enough sleep.
Every time I awoke I tried WILDing but to no avail and fell asleep. So the next few times I remembered scenes or images from dreams I had recently had and also looked at my hand (while awake) for a few seconds as well.
(The simple look at the hand puts the RC into place for later.)
Nothing too new here (combining a few techniques). However, I found myself falling back into a dream segment, but I was walking (like John Wayne the cowboy, or a rapper) a real side-to-side swagger walk.
(TRY THIS: Close your eyes and without moving, see and feel yourself walking somewhere in your mind, anywhere. Really feel your movements side to side and forward)
My body wasn't moving in Real Life, but I could feel myself really move in my dream when I walked. I then did a RC and saw my middle two fingers were squashed down like I had rammed them into a wall or something.
I then went Lucid for a short while but went back to normal dreaming as I had not set out what to do when Lucid. (Very important).
I awoke and repeated the procedure, but imagined myself walking during a past remembered dream scene. (fitted the walk into it) and really emphasised the walking in my mind as I did it. Low and behold I went Lucid again for like 15 mins this time !
Hence me writing this thread. The walking and movement seems to really trigger the needed mechanisms for lucidity.
Please try this and let me know what you think.

Basically imagining yourself doing anything like walking, riding a bike, being on a swing etc..seems to really help with transitioning from awake to lucid dreaming. Its almost like it gives your mind something to focus on..and all you need to do is forget that your just only thinking about walking, and eventually youll be drawn into it
I often daydream and sometimes it involves jumping or swinging, and if i zone out and really concentrate, but dont concentrate, i actually get the feeling of being on a swing, or the feeling you get when you jump. But as soon as i remember that im only day dreaming or falling asleep the feeling goes away and im back to reality. I think the key is to just let your mind go, and forget that your laying down trying to lucid dream. Focus everything you have on just walking.
Make your entire world, and every thought you have, be about you walking.

That's my problem too. I always remember that I have to stay conscious, then I remember that I'm lying in bed and everythings gone again. ^^"

I'm afraid of slipping away (which I'll do anyway then ).

I guess I'll try your method, I can only get better.

If you are imagining you are walking or running or moving you are staying awake by thinking of that (seeing it in your imaginary vision), and you certainly wouldn't be walking or running in bed either.
      So this process works 2-fold.
Firstly your mind is kept active and distracted to keep you awake and your movement is inducing dreaming and lucidity slowly so your body can do whatever and fall asleep while you are still visioning.
in doing this your mind should never come back to thinking of you in bed, quite the opposite, the moving or running will run you away from your real world to the dream world.
So when you dream it hopefully goes lucid again as it did for me.
