      New to WILDs

Hey, I'm sort of new to the forum but i've been lurking around for a while. I've been attempting WILDs at night and have 2 questions about them.

      1) When I feel like sleep paralysis is really taking over and the "lead blanket" reaches my head... after some strong urges to swallow I begin to have rapid eye movement pretty intensely. At first I thought this was a great sign but after 3-4 minutes of this a dream never began. I havent heard much mention of raid eye movement related to WILDs so I was wondering what experience people had with this and how to go from full paralysis to dreaming. I was attempting to imagine familiar senarios *shrug*.

      2) I have a rough time getting to sleep at night. It often takes me an hour to an hour and a half to really get myself to sleep. However, I find it not so difficult to get my body relaxed and into sleep paralysis while my mind was still racing about or concentrating on a sound(fan). Is there anyway to take this WILD ability and translate it into a ability to fall asleep more easily (with no intention to lucidly dream)?

      Thanks

Really hoping for a comment on what rapid eye movement has to do with lucid dreaming before sleep if anyone is familiar with this!
