Was this a Sleep Paralysis or False Awakening?

First off, I got up at 6 to try to wbtb but I said hey I will try a WILD. When I go into that state I heard annoying beeping and all of a sudden something starts hitting my bed and runs across my body! ( it felt like someone kept patting me only really fast.) I was about to open my eyes when I was like "Oh God don't do that it could be a face right when you open your eyes so I kept them shut. That was scary even thought it was light out. I was guessing that was sleep paralysis. (first time inducing it) BUT! This is the weird part. My leg moved out of the covers on the side ( I have a queen bed and slept in the middle ) so my foot was hanging out. I try to pull it back but I was in SP (duh) Why would it do this? Why would my leg move out like that. My thoughts on this were: 1. I pictured myself running in my mind and my body thought it was a dream, yet the paralysis wasn't complete. 2. Starting an OBE 3. Dream. What are yours? I am really confused on this.

my idea you were not fully in sp and your body thought your mind was dreaming hence movement or you just had a big twitch

Yeah you were almost in a WILD! Just go with the flow, I think the leg movement, if you moved your legg (Or if you thought you moved it) Might have been your dream bodie, you were close It was the transition between wakeing and dream. I think anyways..

With my experiences I am feeling the SP and False Awakenings are the start of an OBE. Every time I get SP I see out of my eyes, even though I have them closed and it is in my bedroom as if its normal. I then get full electric jolting SP and lift up out of my body. I, as many just thought it was a LD, but the more I do it, I feel it is more and is an OBE. It always starts from my body too, a sure sign. All LDs normally start other places and within my mind. Kinda hard to explain the difference. I used to think it was nonsense, but after experiencing them, I am sure now it's not. Remember all the people were so sure the Earth was flat, and laughed at the telephone thingy idea.

I have had many LDs and the OBEs are very different. There is a certain clarity about them, and they always start at your body. I always move up from my body and go out the front door and down a path to a different place each time. like a portal path. Is not like any LD I have had. These have purpose and you feel like you, not some dream character or 3rd person. The fact the SP is always there to release the energy body and the following feelings and procedure down the path makes me believe its a OBE. Again, I never believed in OBEs and thought they were rediculous, but now I am certain they are real.

Wait then how do I Lucid Dream instead of having an OBE? I think your mind chooses it for you. Fi you can choose where your normal LDs start, maybe you can determine whether to OBE or LD. If you are like us regula folk, you can't choose yet. I have only had 3 OBEs, but the others I had SP and a LD started like in another place, not my room (like it was generated in my head, and not out from my body. I think that is the destinction). I would say its where your dream starts that will tell you if it is LD or OBE. If you have an OBE, its like the strongest SP ever. Jolting elictricity through your torso like being electricuted, not some tingling sensation. The release of your energy body is very specific and the clarity is beyond any LD I have had. It is you too, I mean not some vague impression of you. You know its you and you have risen from your real body. Is all I have experienced so far with these.

Soo say I get an OBE. Can I just go back into my body and try again? What are things I can do in OBE's? Can someone wake me up like a dream? Am I visible to others? Can I Spy on others or is it a dream world. Could I possibly die like go to the hospital and not know about it? Sorry to bombard you with questions

From my research, your energy body is a like clone copy of yourself and is sent out at OBE. Some say the SP is because we are tearing the copy away from our real bodies. The copy has all our memories and feelings. Nothing can happen to us or the copy. If it gets lost or someone wakes you it is immediately returned. Even if it wasn't returned it was a copy of you and not your essence. Other energy bodies can see you and vice versa. It is said the energy body exists on another planes of our existence. I have gone down my path from my house and to a small city (much too complex for my mind to make like in a LD) so i knew this OBE was a bigger thing. Anyway I was moving along and saw some people in the windows as I walked. I moved around the back of some of the houses and watched a couple of different girls shower and get changed. One caught me looking and I knew then I wasnt invisible. Was so much better than any LD I have had. You can go back and try again yes, or just go back and create another copy and move out again. Hope this answered some questions. I have many pdf books on the subject now.

Anyone watching you would be no more chance than in the waking world. Same as you watching them. So if you are scared of real life and hide in your room, then maybe its a chance to escape for you.

Why do people say OBE's can fly but we cannot see other's doing it. We can go anywhere, we are energy in an OBE. Maybe not everyone is flying around at that particular place. The multi-plains of existence are many and how big is space? We are not talking about one world, but many levels of the same world. No wonder we don't see everyone doing what we are doing. All I know is it is the best thing I have ever experienced and I can do anything and go anywhere. It is me too, not a dream character or 3rd person view.

Ok. From my research, your energy body is a like clone copy of yourself and is sent out at OBE. Some say the SP is because we are tearing the copy away from our real bodies.. Alternatively its an imaginary body in a dream, SP is a physiological reaction designed to stop your body acting out your dreams when you asleep, and the effects of SP (the noises, the wave etc) are due to the transition between the waking and sleeping works. If OBE's could be proven, I do think they would have by now. Theres a lot of believers....yet no scientific evidence of the same.

Can't they test it? Say leave something in the corner and have the person OBE and say what the thing is. I'm still confused if it is a dream or not.
