      Smile What's your Dream Recall?

I just wondered what everyone's Dream Recall was... And also where they are in their path to controled LDs... If everyone could answer this, it might be easier for people to see where they are at in Dream Recall...

      1. What is your Dream Recall?

      2. How much LDs do you get per day (night)

      3. Approx lenghts

      4. Have you just started LDing or has it been a while?

      I'll start first

      1. When I wake up I remember NOTHING at all and if I think back all I see is damn black. As I don't move and just try to remember, pieces of the puzzle come back. A lot actually. Once they've came back I can remember them for the whole day. There's always some pieces of puzzle missing. As long as I wake up after a dream, I will be able to gain pieces of it when i wake up in the morning.

      2. I've only gotten 1 yet, yesterday.

      3. 6 secs

      4. I've just started (This is my first week)

      Your turn

      1. Very good, over 5 dreams a night.
      2. About one or two per week.
      3. Still very short, few seconds or about a minute...
      4. Been practicing LD's for about two months. I find my progress satisfying.

      2) 0

      4) I haven't been practicing that long...maybe a month? I tried earlier in 08, gave up, and decided to try again last December!

That's interresting... Keep that way... I wish I had your recall... Mine are just pieces of puzzle dropped here and there... I have like 3/4 dreams remembered but with lots of wholes...

Do not give up again... Everything is worth Lucid Dreaming! Imagine what your life will be like when you achieve that goal! It's just something that takes a while (for most people)... Keep the good work

      1. What is your Dream Recall?
Usually anything between 1 to 3 dreams per night as well as fragments of a few more dreams though due to laziness, I don't always write all of them down. (which I know is a bad habit, but I just can't get rid of it)

      2. How much LDs do you get per day (night)
I don't have lucid dreams daily, but lately (as in, the last 3 or 4 weeks) I've been having about 3 lucid dreams a week, which is a great improvement from my previous 2 - 3 lucid dreams a month.

      3. Approx lenghts
(I assume this is for LDs) A couple of minutes, but they're getting longer at a steady pace.

      4. Have you just started LDing or has it been a while?
I've had lucid dreams for years, but I've only been actively developing dream recall and awareness for about 5 months.

      1. What is your Dream Recall?

I have excellent dream recall, but I have to think about my dreams in the first few seconds that I wake up to recall all of them. If I am woken up by someone, usually I don't think about my dreams right away, and then they are lost forever

      2. How much LDs do you get per day (night)

I have only had one so far, I'm new here too.

      3. Approx lengths

It was only about a minute.

      4. Have you just started LDing or has it been a while?

Just started. lol, two nights ago

Dream recall is not steady, it's more of a wave (or at least that is my case). It'll improve, as long as you stop thinking about other stuff

      1. What is your Dream Recall?
1-3 dreams per night, all extremely detailed and vivid.
      2. How much LDs do you get per day (night)
My average would be about 1/30 nights I've only had 2 ld's
      3. Approx lenghts
Normal dreams: seems to last about 30 minutes. LD's: Depends, my first ld was 5 minutes, my second about 15
      4. Have you just started LDing or has it been a while?
Depends. I call two months a little while

I depends on if I try or not

If I try (wake up after most REM cycles and do a WBTB)
      1. What is your Dream Recall?
4-5 dreams. I've had nights where I've recorded 8 or so though.

      2. How much LDs do you get per day (night)
If I'm successful (I seem to have about a 50% success rate when I WBTB/WILD attempt), I'll usually have 1 or 2 in a night.

      3. Approx lenghts
      5 seconds to 5 minutes

      4. Have you just started LDing or has it been a while?
I started in the middle of last October, but I've had LD's rarely before that.

If I don't try (Just go to sleep and wake up to my alarm in the morning)
      1. What is your Dream Recall?
0-3 dreams (usually closer to the 0 side)

      2. How much LDs do you get per day (night)
One every so often. Maybe one per week.

      3. Approx lenghts
They tend not to end instantly, but they aren't long and I have less control it seems.

That could be a dry spell... Today, I don't know if I already said that, I remembered basecly nothing a bit like yesterday... But the day I had my first LD and the day before, I had really good Dream Recall... It seems that I don't really have a Dream Recall... Its like playing at a Casino, I might get big... or nothing

Well, all this stuff (that you've said) looks interesting and I think that the conclusion of this survey would be that everyone is different

      1. What is your Dream Recall?
If I have the motivation, I can easily remember at least 3 dreams per night.

      2. How much LDs do you get per day (night)
Unfortunately, it seems my natural lucid dream has been spoiled the moment I took advantage of it years ago. Used to have quite a few per week when I was into it. But with my motivation gone, I rarely have just one per month. Many dreams I have though, are half-lucid, where your subconscious knows you're dreaming, but not your own consciousness. Many times I even told myself in dreams, "This could wake you up," or "That can happen anyway, since this is a dream," but I never just realize that I'm lucid dreaming and could take advantage.

      3. Approx lengths

Dreams can surely last from 10-20 to me, sometimes even longer. But LD's, usually 10 minutes at the max.

      4. Have you just started LDing or has it been a while?
Started in August 2005 when I first heard about it. I would usually have one naturally every now and then. Was very good at it, but then my motivation was dead by the end of the next year (2006). Since then, I've been pretty much in one of those long dry spells since, where you barely ever have LDs. Only way to get those LDs back is from motivation, and I still haven't found a way to get myself motivated again.

      1) I have pretty good dream recall, usually about three dreams per night, one or more of which is usually very vivid (I can remember conversations completely, thoughts or emotions I had during the dream, and it feels as if I had been dreaming for 30-60 minutes).

      2) I usually have 1 (2 if I'm lucky) lucid dreams per week, but I usually wake up soon after achieving lucidity.

      3) My non-lucid dreams can last from 30-60 minutes, which is good, because they are usually better than my lucid ones, while most of my lucid dreams average about five minutes.

      4) I really became interested and motivated about two weeks ago, when I joined, but I started trying to control my dreams about six months before that.

      1. It kinda changes overtime, but at my peak I usually remember 4 a night.

      2. Ouch... Usually only a few per month.

      3. About 30 to 90 minutes.

      4. Started this summer.

      Fluctuating constantly.

      Also, fluctuating constantly.

      Very long.

      1. What is your Dream Recall?: Usually 5-6 dreams a night. Sometimes 0 or 1, sometimes up to 12. Depends on the amount of sleep, stress, if I'm keeping a DJ, etc.

      2. How many LDs do you get per day (night): Per day? I wish I had a per day. I usually have 1-2 per week, and if I am lucky and can chain them I can sometimes get around 5 a night, if I've already gotten that one lucid.

      3. Approx lengths: Depends. Mostly only a few minutes long, some I barely have that moment of realization before waking up. I have had quite a number of nice long ones that seemed to take about 15-60 minutes of dream time. The majority seem 10 minutes or less, though.

      4. Have you just started LDing or has it been a while?: I had my first lucid dream in 2004, I think. I had about 2 a year until April '08, at which point I started really studying them and attempting to lucid dream.

      1. What is your Dream Recall?

Normally 1 dream a night, sometimes I only get small pieces of 1 dream, some times they are very vivid in alive. Some times if I'm lucky I can remember up to 3 dreams a night. My dream recall basicly suck.

      2. How much LDs do you get per day (night)

Per night, normally none. But I've gotten 3 over a time of 3 weeks without trying The first one I got 3 days after reading about LD

      3. Approx lenghts
