      music induced lucids

If you woke up around four when you would normally WBTB and put some headphones on with some music, would you hear the music while you're dreaming? If so, this could be a cool way to induce lucid dreaming by just recognizing the music playing. Plus a music background behind dreams would make it cool I think.

Anybody know if this would work or have tried this?

Oh yeah, it definately works. I got a song from this very site about lucid dreaming. I put it on my i-Tunes, turned it up to a low volume, and then heard it in my dream. I realized it, did an RC, and BOOM! I was lucid. Here is the dream that I used this technique on, http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...&postcount=182 . The song link is in my journal entry. This technique is known as an EILD (externally induced lucid dream). I have also had dreams where I had left the t.v. on, and my dream subject matter was the same as the t.v., lol.
