      Anyone who tried Merkaba meditation?

      Hi guys,
just wanted to ask if anyone ever tried Merkaba meditation?

      MERKABA MEDITATION

I dunno what the connection to dreams is but it seems to be connected to traveling between worlds/dimensions which is similar to what dreams can be used for. It is also used for protection and healing and others:
"The varieties of benefits of using the Merkaba are greatly varied:
It is a most powerful healing and protection tool. By utilizing the ancient Prana breathing technique, we are able to restore the Prana flow through the pineal gland at the center of our brain. This revived use of our gland, which has been virtually dormant for 13,000 years allows the heightened use of our telepathic and extra sensory perception abilities."

Will appreciate any comment or description of personal experience.

      Cheers

Sounds like a very interesting topic to investigate! I'll have to check out the link!

I used it a bit , it's a lot of energy movement , some others have used it in LD's like Waking Nomad he said he used it to avoid Astral ticks sticking on him.

      Hi, a small note:
yesterday night i was in bed preparing for my sleep. i was on a bit of wine but still i felt ok for my usual realxing before sleep. i dunno why but i felt that i can try that merkaba story. now i must say i didnt follow almost any of the instructions provided on the web except imagining the tetrahedrons. so i slowed down my breathing and relaxed, concentrated on my pineal. then imagined the 2 tetrahedrons and imagined them spinning and they were spinning. what i felt was power. i felt a point somewhere in the base of my back which was like a center of me, the area between my eyes was quite excited as well and with my eyes closed i was able to see how the tetrahedrons started to increase the speed so after a short time i didnt see them well cos of the speed but i knew ther were there. now then, the experience got quite intensive so i decided to stop it cos i was not in the proper state of mind(the wine ) so i just opened my eyes and stopped the vision of the spinning tetrahedrons. this took some effort cos it was quite strong feeling which was stable even with my eyes opened. after i fell asleep in a regular way.

So i will have to read the instructions better and try it again in a better state of mind and body. Still even from this short encounter it seems that this technique is quite powerful. Also its interesting to see what is the effect on the dreaming.

      Question:
From what i have read this technique is a way one to meet one's higher self. Someone ever did that? Maybe WakingNomad?

I went to a Flower of Life workshop which taught me how to use the merkaba.

For me it works really well for keeping my mind occupied. Since I have such a hard time letting go of thoughts, I enjoy this more technical approach because it gives my mind something to do.

I get some balancing effect from it, and let's me tune in to astral lights easier, if I follow up with some third eye meditation.

Personally I think it's designed more for people that are adept at visualization, which is probably why I have such a limited result with it.

      Update:
i was a bit drunk and in a taxi when i somehow decided to try this thing again. i dunno why i do it when im drunk, bad. anyway im in the taxi and imagined the tetrahedrons around me. i dont even need to close my eyes for that. i can see them with me eyes opened in my mind.its a bit weird feeling, almost like superimposing them on the 'real' world. so i imagined them and made them spin and the powerful feeling started again. then i felt a bit scared that i will vomit cos the feeling affected my stomach. and i had to stop the experiment. but it was a bit difficult as i was still able to see the tetrahedrons. so i had to think of something else and pretend i dont see them and breath slow and deep.

I know now for sure that I dont have to do that when drunk. Hope to try it these days when im sober

dunno Kunal19, though I don't believe something like that would happen xp.

I think it's more like, we can't tell the diference between 3rd 4th and 5th dimension with our eyes, but life does feel diferent depending in which dimension you are currently in, I THINK...

I use a merkabah sometimes. It protects you as you travel through wormholes and space because parasites cannot stick to you. The centrifugal force of the spinning pyramids makes them fly off.

Also, fix your link. It leads right back to this page. I did figure out your mistake, and copy and pasted that. It's way too confusing. Listen, do what mowglycdb says about how to do it.

I have met my higher self, but I was using a technique in a don Juan book. The technique for meeting your higher self is unimportant. It's the will that matters.

No, you cannot come back. Go to the fourth dimension, and begone!

      Seriously, what are you referencing?

      @WakingNomad:
I see. It seems that for almost all of the things we are trying to do the technique doesnt really matters and only the will matters. At least thats is my impression.
Btw i tried to change the link but i cant cos the time limit in which i could do that is expired.

awhile is the word lol...Means we can come back..
On the other hand i think we wont see any change at the 4th dimension....Probably

do you guys know what merkaba is
the same technology is used by aliens in their soccers...
I think after activating merkaba...We can travel anywhere..(no limits..And with physical body)

Dunno, for me the traveling even with the body sounds very attracting

      Zen Meditation

I've Used Zazen within what you call the astral plane (I personally believe that this is just another dream-state but it's just my opinion). I found it leads into yet another state and I am not sure what that would even be called.

I think this is close to being on the subject and in fact it encompasses a large part of why I am here. If anyone has any information on this other state, or if by some chance one of you has done something like this I would REALLY appreciate some feedback. From what I can tell it's not common.

I'm also happy to offer insight or experiences if needed.

I've done this 3 times, all three times I found myself above a kind of fine filigree or latticework of what I believe to be things which can be thought. Nothing moves there and things like "motion" and "change" are just other ideas in the latticework below.

I am a pretty skeptical and empirically based personality by my nature, so i tend not to affix mystical meanings to things I witness in these states but instead focus on how it works in the most basic and abstract sense. This isn't really directly connected to the subject in discussion here however it's a good thing to know since I am new here and it's probably helpful to know what sort of person this information is coming from.

well, thats it I hope this is helpful.
