Also in an OBE, can you travel the world and see how things are happening in the present time? Think about Scrooge and how the ghost of christmas present showed him what was happening.

To expand on what dreamdimensions said, there are a lot of places you can look to learn about OBE/Astral Projection. Robert Monroe has many books detailing his experiences, and would make a good read to help answer your questions. Robert Bruce has a book called Astral Dynamics, which details his experiences and some techniques on AP, and another book called Mastering Astral Projection which is a 90 day step-by-step guide on how to learn to AP. I'm currently following the 90 day guide and am up to day 50, as part of the DVASA.

People claim that you can experience what is called the 'real time plane' and see things as they are happening in present time. It is acclaimed that there are many layers to the Astral plane, and that learning to shift between them is part of the incredible experiences you can have. I'm still yet to experience my first AP and prove to myself objectively it's existance
