@strit - good luck with your healing!

Robert Waggoner in LD gateway to the inner self also mentions some technique for healing/self healing.

FOrceez, fail XD. You never moved it. I'm moving it now.

Anyway, it sounds interesting to me. Healing in Lucids is one thing I am curious about.

I been having lucid dreams since I was little, I thought it was a very normal thing that everybody had, but talking to my friends and mother, I find out not everybody does. For about a year now, I feel I have more control of it, I direct my self where I want to go and what I want to do in my dream, but I don't always accomplish my goal, I have been able to even re-enter my lucid dream. I been reading about lucid dreams for many hours now, I didn't sleep last night searching about this matter. Reading here is giving me ideas that I didn't know I could do, I suffer from a chronic lower back pain, I have been told that there is no cure for it, for the past 5 years it's getting worst and worst. I think this can be an alternative to try that I'm really willing to try, Please guide me and advice me of what to do, I can only have very little control of my lucid dreams only when I'm in it. Can I plan having a lucid dream before? If so, how can I?

I will appreciate any advice from anybody, my lowerback problem is affecting many areas of my body, side of my legs, shoulder joints, left rib, from time to time I have nights I just cry in pain.

      HELP HELP HELP!

Have you tried breathing exercise and yoga? What is said here sounds good but you can probably get more results by directly asking ur (sub)conscious this question of how to alleviate this pain. I can advise what my friend (who has rheuma) told me when he came back from an outer body experience upon which he sat in near lotus position on the side of the bed, stretched his arms, bend over forward with his arms hanging from the sides of the bed and said he is supposed to breathe in through his nose and breathe out from the mouth. I tried experimenting with different postures and can sometimes feel a definite pressure on my lower back from doing this. I can breathe through my nose only, I am flexible. And I think it is important to work with long drawn out breathes. You might want to try (breathing in colours) and sending (mainly purple) healing breathe to areas that need healing. Sitting in meditation with straight posture can help to localize spinal issues I know from experience. The minute these pains alleviate slightly I take it as a sign of progression.

Hope that helps. Just adding another option for your repertoire. May you heal properly. I feel for you and wish you health and prosperity

Thanks for your advice, I'll try it, but I have a question, how do I breath colors in? mainly purple out? Do I have to imagine it?

Here's my suggestion; it's not based on experience, because I have never tried to heal anything from inside a lucid dream. But I do have plans for undertaking such healing, if ever it became relevant.

Also, this is definitely not the politically correct approach.

      Step 1: become lucid
Step 2: summon the disease (to appear in human form)
Step 3: grow yourself to a hundred times the size of the disease
Step 4: squash the little bugger under your nearest foot
Step 5: yell out to the dream world: "And if any other disease comes around to pester me, then I'll get really angry!!!"

After that: wake up, and cheer yourself into a frenzy, as if you just won the world championship.

So ... is this the real universe, or is it just a preliminary study?

The colours are all inside of you. You breathe in purple. Then you have purple oxygen in ur lungs which gets send to areas inside ur body. To keep up in the spirit of this thread with Auras I added that in. I'm not sure if it works but for me it kind of reduced back pain.

I have OCD can I heal myself in a lucid dream ? I think it would be easier than pshysical illnes because it's concerned directly with subconscious and maybe I can communicate with that in a lucid dream . I use pills for my OCD but If tried it would be good

It is ofcourse very hard to Lucid Dream in the first place and to also remember this goal. What most people don't figure is that waking consciousness allows communication with subconscious (albeit sometimes limited). Nothing wrong with a good exercise to up the serotonin levels etc. tell me if symptoms of OCD do not lessen after a good physical workout.

Hm. I do not have OCD. I think?
Maybe smoking shares some similarities. Post-workout i don't feel the urge to smoke. It even makes the idea itself seem uncomfortable. But it doesn't last long. So it's not a cure, and working out 24/7 won't heal the addiction. Working it out from inside a dream sounds promising and useful. Having stuff to do, and good diet helped me quit for a month. :3

I tried this last night in a lucid dream. Have pretty bad tension in my face and depersonalisation the past few years. When I summoned my aura it appeared quite a distance away from me. I then proceeded to fly over to it and call upon the powers of the universe for healing but nothing happened the second time I clapped (no golden light). Eventually I willed a little bit of light energy into my hand but then I noticed chains appearing around my aura anchoring it into the ground. Does anyone know what this means or how I can be more successful next time?
