Question Self Hypnosis and Experiments with Ganzfeld - Feedback Requested!

So two things for this thread. First of all I am thinking about making, trying and using Ganzfeld glasses. I thought I would make them out of swimming goggles and white glass frosting paint as described here:
Lincomatic's DIY Blog | electronics, 3d printing, hacking, etc

Before I blow my wad, spend $30.00 or so at Amazon to get the materials and perhaps Wagoneer's book on dreaming, I was looking for some feedback from anyone else that tried to make these, especially if they tried swimming goggles. What worked for you and what didn't? I was thinking of getting a darkroom quality red LED light if such a thing existed - about to search now. Any ideas on what lights to try, what you liked, what you didn't like, different effects?

Secondly I am, in a few moments, going to begin to narrate my second self-hypnosis script. This one will be released for free to the public on SoundCloud, and I am making a support page as well as a video tutorial series detailing the process. I am looking for feedback on the script I have so far.

I am not experienced in self-hypnosis. I wrote this script using the one from the book, "Powerful Mind Through Hypnosis" by Cathal O'Brian as a guidline. It is, so far, in my opinion, an excellent book. I have made one script using the material in the book and asked myself some questions, recording the answers, Worked very well! Anyhow the page is here:
      Hi-Tech Headache: Self Hypnosis

If you are experienced in hypnosis, or are a licenses practitioner or professional in some way, I would especially value your feedback. This script, when used, should remove all blocks and obstacles to lucid dreaming, astral projection, and remembering these experiences. That is the goal. I will narrate it, use it myself, and tweak it as needed. But if anyone has ideas as to how to improve it, I would appreciate hearing them.

I am looking forward to your answers and feedback!

      Interesting!
I also experiment with self-hypnosis, following this script:

Instant Self-Hypnosis - How To Hypnotize Yourself With Your Eyes Wide Open
There is something for LD and for recall at the end.

I did it 4 times now, and each time, I got lucid either the same night or one or two nights later. Unfortunately only got lucid, and had the LD break down almost immediately. So that's why I didn't kick up a hype around it. But I wasn't doing anything else besides, except twice image-streaming - no RCs, no journalling - nothing.
And that isn't just my natural frequency - if I really do nothing at all - I don't get lucid.
So what I am saying basically is - self-hypnosis seems to have an effect on me.
They say the more repetitions, the better - but it's getting quite boring after a couple of times.

I plan to work on it and make my personal version - look here for inspiration - I just saw that now:

      Good luck with your endeavours!

Well try out the script I have provided. At the very least it shouldn't be boring, and it should be long term. Maybe 3 repetitions will cement it in your mind. And you are welcome to adjust the script however you like. Just be warned, as I say on the page, that until I have used it the script is untested. so there may be a few bumps I am not ware of with it.

Having trouble finding a permanent white paint that won't wash off which is translucent. I think that's the word I want. It should allow very low levels of light in. I can't seem to find a white paint that will do that. Anyone know anything about white paint, maybe one at Amazon that allows some light through?

Bulb is going to be easy! Found some multicolor LED bulbs I can use. With a dimmer built in I can have the perfect light color and intensity! I will provide full reviews of the products I end up getting. I may even sell some of my custom made Ganzfeld glasses if there is any interest, when I have some made that is.

I believe somebody did it with halved ping-pong-balls, and that worked perfectly for the light-permeability ..
And funnily - before clicking your link - I was going to recommend a spray for glass to make it milk-glassy, too - just as it says there - did you try that?

Yeah they recommend this frosting. But that stuff washes off! I was looking for something permanent.

Good luck with both - I would use the ping-pong-ball method. Maybe you can glue/tape them onto these swimming-glasses for a good fit. Maybe take the original plastic glasses out.
Just at the side - I believe, I have great results from my script - 3 days ago a session, two nights ago a micro-LD and last night a loong one!
      After dryness of several weeks.
