      First AP READ READ READ

      Ahhhh!
So I had my first AP experience, lasted 3 seconds. I'm going to try and blow that 3 seconds up as much as possible with exhaustive detail (I appreciate this so much when reading others' experiences).

So yesterday evening I felt interested in AP again after about a year and a half of letting it go. I watched a few new videos of techniques and first timers experiences just to get me up to speed. Of course it landed on the rope technique.
SO I lay in bed at about 1:30 am on my back (cannot fall asleep on my back) and spent a few minutes relaxing my body/mind, then started climbing the rope. All that kept happening was a dream would start for a moment then I would snap back to consciousness. This happened like 6 times so I changed positions and got the same results. Just decided to try and fall asleep.
Woke up at like 5:30 am for no reason (this never happens) and oddly felt well rested. Got some water and stuff then back in bed. Tried same technique and got same "snap" results. Decided to read more about first time experiences so I did that and the one I read, the guy just did WBTB MILD type technique. I'm usually skeptical about MILD as I prefer more mechanical techniques that I can control (bad mindset I know). But since the rope wasn't working I decided to try it. I let myself drift off and just thought "I am aware" with each inhale/exhale. After quite a while I was in a non-lucid dream.
The dream ended and all of a sudden I felt like my eyes were wide open (like, scarily, massively wide open). It was odd to me because I could feel my sleep mask and knew my eyes shouldn't be open while wearing it lol. I started to feel embarrassed "why are my eyes so widely opened... if someone saw me they'd think I was possessed or something."
      HERE IT IS:
Then it happened... My eyes were still open but I realized that I was looking into the sky. I saw the billions of stars and thought "Oh my God it's true.... money and ego really are pointless (sort of something I'm battling with atm)" again this lasts about 3 seconds so that wasn't a thought sentence, it was a feeling. Also note I was outside right next to a garage door (we have a garage but not sure if it was ours or not). So after having this feeling and looking at the stars, i was hit with a deafening sound that was almost identical to metal being grinded. A very high pitched metallic screech. I started to feel pins and needles but was terrified so I woke up.

Thank you, that is definitely interesting. How could you describe what you saw a little further? Clarity and scale of the stars. If it literally where billions that is magnificent. If it is a nightsky then it's a little more common I guess. This could be interpreted for a Wild if not for the craazy sound experience.

Unfortunately it was a common nighttsky that I saw. But it was as if I could feel all their individual worlds... like they all have their own makeup, their own histories, their own moons, it really put my life into perspective.
As far as a WILD goes im totally open to that. I didn't have a movement sensation and I didn't start out in my room which would point to a WILD, however the facts that I could feel my sleep mask, that I was looking upwards (the orientation that my body was in), and the deafening sound point to AP.
I've heard people say that AP isn't real, it's just dreams, and I've heard that dreams aren't real, it's all AP. So even though my goal is AP im really just trying to experience the truth.
      Thanks for your reply

Oeh. Not saying a nightsky is EVER common. I mean the galaxy is pretty fucking incredible. Nobody really knows if life is out there but it could be teeming with it

I think youre experience is related to chakras. Those are aligned with the spine and the 7th chakra is above the head .. Glad you liked my first reply btw. and the 7th chakra is said to connect you with all life in the universe.

I have had some interesting encounters with chakras. One time I was following a guided meditation for opening them and I saw them as certain colors/sizes. And they happened to be the exact colors that people report them to be. The person would name the chakra and I would envision it and it's size correlated with its expression in my life perfectly. For instance she named the solar plexus chakra and I saw it as small and yellow, kind of fading/dead. Then I later learned it was indeed yellow and dealt with self-esteem (which explains why is was so small). So I'm definitely a believer in chakras. Maybe I need to meditate on my crown chakra like you said. Will try that tonight along with another AP attempt.
      Thanks for taking an interest!

I'm a hardhead skeptic about Chakras and I saw them in a lucid dream actually after meditating and started to flow into the sky and I saw all the colors and symbols on my body which was in lotus.

I also saw them on DMT in the mirror. I never did anything much with the chakras. All I can tell you relating to this is that I saw during DMT a beam of light starting from my brow area connecting to a source of light which had in the middle a sparkling blue gem. The source of light was (I woulden't say similar to a sun) but it could well be a star. There where littler sparkles in a vast space with stars just like what you describe. The only difference is there was entities there

I'm a little bit dissonant and english is not my main language so sorry if I don't make sense

Ur experience reminded me of it

Entities remind me of Astral Parasites. They looked like weird macro-microorganisms quite a few of them attached themselves unto my brain and I got rid of them. A bunch of cobwebs seems to cloud my view of them when I removed it I looked right into the mouth of a leech. I asked it to remove itself. It said Sorry! And then it went away.. lol

I hope you make it man. I never said you are supposed to meditate on 7th chakra. I meant that this space IS the 7th chakra.

I believe in AP and OBE so I would say it could have been any of that. But it also could have been a nice lucid dream.

After a lot of reading up on AP/OBE/LD, I thought that AP and OBE starts with you exiting your body. And LD starts with some images or something similar you enter.

Then I had OBE in which I levitated out of my body. And then I had a lucid dream in which I rolled out and on another occasion stood up from my body. Both experiences, even if they started the same (me leaving the body), I feel like they ended up with me visiting different realms. One was real world or a near copy or our real world waking life, and the other one was a lucid dream.

So I had to change my mind about type of exit/entry determining the place we end up in. Now I feel like something else determins that. Maybe our level of awareness. Maybe our vibrational frequency which matches to vibrational frequency of that realm. I don't now. All I know is that there is something out there. Be it dreams all happening in our heads or real realms inhabited with independent, sentient entities, I don't really care. I mean I would LOVE to know. But for now I'll just keep exploring and enjoying it and hoping that some answers will come to me when time is right.

Ive no idea whether your experience is some sort of WILD, OBE or AP, but its certainly special I like to look at the stars and remind myself I'm also looking at alien worlds and civilizations. I wonder what the metallic noise is that people often hear....

Haha, I heard it only once. Only auditory HH that "sobered me up" right away. I think during transition, we pass by opened doors to other realms and we get a glimps of images or sounds from there. No clue it that's true, but it would be cool.
