Hey guys I was just curious how many people listened to music while meditating? For me when I play a calm ambient track or a soft flute track it really helps me get into the right headspace, plus it blocks out other sounds around the house.
What about you? Do you find it easier to concentrate with no music?
Not really, I figure when I want to meditate and dont have access to the music, if I can train myself without music I wont rely on it to get into a particular headspace. I tend to use autosuggestion to put myself into a light trance when I meditate to help block out intruding thoughts.
Im trying out some binaural beats, at the moment, while i meditate.
