Thanks McDreamy! I haven't tried as hard at WILD recently but when I was, a few months ago, I remember I would get my body totally paralyzed, except my breathing. I heard I had to mimic "sleep breathing" but it wouldn't really work. So then I would take a deep breath and my whole body would wake up again. The other thing was my thoughts. It was like I couldn't turn my mind down enough to get into a dream. Reading your notes reminded me of that. I used so much will power to basically "resist" the "rollover signals". Now, it's like I don't have it in me! So I mainly do DEILD and DILD. I don't say that to discourage you but just to share how far I got at attempting it. I got a few WILD types of things other than DEILDs but it wasn't something I gained full control of. I appreciate hearing your experience with trying WILD in such detail.
No, I don't always wake up feeling sleepy. That's why I have to be patient if i'm not. Eventually I end up back asleep.hehe Good idea .
Thanks for reading! Yeah, I find it useful to record a lot of the small details to help keep track of where things are going wrong, and what seems to be helping. DawnEye, I can see how waking up groggy would be helpful for you when trying to DEILD. It's hit or miss for me in terms of how alert I am waking up. Do you always wake up feeling sleepy? I will keep an eye out for those pesky werewolves.
If you see a full moon, expect the werewolf to pop up somewhere. Also, about the DEILD it works for me more when i wake up still sleepy and when i picture myself in the last scene that occured. Dont know if that will help but i hope you get it next time. Watching objects form can be exciting so i dont blame you. After the object formed a mountainous setting came up for me in a similar WILD attempt. Probably due to a thought i had from the triangular object. So you seem close and yeah, you do have to fall asleep to have a WILD.xD
Thanks McDreamy! I've read your DJs here and there over the past few weeks. Cool dreams and I appreciate your thoughtfulness about describing your techniques. I write in my DJ a lot about stuff like, "Itch on nose lasted 2 minutes. Got confused whether I should breathe through my nose or my mouth. "
Ah-HA! Remember that, McDreamy; it's a good, solid dream-sign. So now you know to do reality checks whenever you're inside a strange building. Or any building, for that matter.
hm ya come to think of I think the majority are in buildings
Ah. Just wondering. Do you dream of being in buildings a lot?
Thanks Signet and hashmash. lol ya too bad he was stubborn. @ Signet- At the end of the tunnel was a nicer looking stone doorway. Thats where the asian dude was sitting that I had to jump over. Then through a short hallway there was just a small maybe 12-15m squarish chamber. But there was a wall jetting out at 90 degree angle from one of the main walls, and I was on the left when the samarai came out. Then the wheelchair guy came out of nowhere on the right. ___________ | | ___|_____| | | | |
Lol, thats a good idea, asking the dc's how to ld every night. Cool dream man!
I like this. Your mind works in an interesting-yet-somewhat-fluid way. Cool. What was the layout of the temple? What did it look like?
Thinking about lucid dreaming during WBTBs keeps me awake as well. Nice dreams though man, i am loving your emphasis on meditation before bed and during WBTBs.
Thanks man! haha ya I probably would have if I stayed lucid long enough. Maybe tonight
thanks dude, ya a lot of people don't anymore maybe because of the hair
Nice dreams mcdreamy, good job with the MILD! That was pretty strange, I think i would've tried to eat those cranberries That screaming girl was pretty crazy!
This is very vivid and cool. I admit I used to like Watson but she doesn't look attractive to me anymore.
haha thanks. Ya I didn't expect it either
Lol did not expect that ending. That was a pretty epic dream my friend.
