    1. Escape through a reflection | Some indecent stuff | Suicide mission in space

by , 03-21-2018 at 05:54 PM (The Erratic dreams of StaySharp)
Escape through a reflection: I don't remember what caused me to RC, but I got lucid through the classical nose pinch. I seem to have been escaping from something, but I can't remember more than that basic detail either. But there is one scene I remember vividly, which was moving up to a glass window or door which was closed. I've seen an incomplete reflection on it, mostly bluish like the sky, but there were wooden parts and also silhouettes blocking part of it, similar to how it might look like in reality. I instinctively focused on the reflection, completed it, then stepped right through without opening it, into the reality of the reflection so to say, after which I immediately flew, and it seemed to have been very high up. Unfortunately I didn't get to enjoy my free flight for long.
Some indecent stuff: Some time after that I had a false awakening and I was in a building, and somehow pretty quickly realised I was still dreaming and did a nose pinch again.
      Spoiler for 18+ Stuff:

This was a different dream, but same day.
Suicide mission in space: So this dream had a weird melancholic component to it. I voluntarily went on a suicide space mission with 100% chances of suffocation from a lack of oxygen, I was in a missile in an orbit around earth, but I didn't focus on the panorama. I had breathed out of a sort of bag but as previously indicated in the dream I ran out of oxygen soon. Except that I kept breathing in the vacuum of space without issue whatsoever. I probably would've realized I was dreaming if I hadn't woken up at that point.

    2. First fully intentional and complete WILD - Neighborhood exploration, my students

by , 08-29-2017 at 02:54 AM (The Erratic dreams of StaySharp)
So this here is a big deal for me. A REALLY big deal!
It's been a little more than 6 years since I started with lucid dreaming, and like many other hopefuls I was also aiming at WILDs. Suffice to say they were very elusive to me for the longest of times. Painfully slowly over the past years I had more experiences giving me insight, like waking up unusually slowly out of a dream, basically an unintentional reverse WILD and all sorts of things like that.

So then today was the big day. I got into bed, decided to get out again and read a couple of things on WILDing again as I was planning that for a while anyway. Set my alarm for a bit more than an hour, sleep, get up briefly and put in earplugs.
They were a bit uncomfortable at first but rolling over and pressing my head into the pillow actually helped. They were just noticeable enough to give me an anchor while shielding me from outside sensory input.
As I was laying there I felt a heavy and tired sensation quickly, the one that's been dragging me back into sleep all sorts of times when I wasn't supposed to remain sleeping, but at the same time I felt my mind be decently alert and awake.
Maybe a minute or so after seriously lying down I start getting intense feelings of motion, I patiently feel into them and wait for them to pass, then I get up.

I'm in my room, it's dark and everything looks normal, and this surely would've made for an FA, but I didn't lose my consciousness at all, so I immediately reality checked with a nose-pinch, and sure enough, I was in a dream. Incredibly smooth and direct transition too. Perfect.
I open the balcony door, and as I wasn't exactly dressed I grabbed a t-shirt and quickly put it on while strolling through the neighborhood. It was very close to my actual living place in K, but there were some differences. I strolled through the place, and there were 2 persons, I levitated up on a building and then jumped down in one swoop close to them, like I often did in a Power Armor in Fallout 4. They did give me a weird look and I made a small impact but it wasn't much.

I conceived a plan to test out more stuff so I thought why not try summoning some beautiful girl? So I went into an apartment building, around a staircase corner and there was someone waiting who was very likely inspired by someone I knew from real life. Had red short hair like my wife currently but looked otherwise a lot different. At least the concepts, proportions, facial structure and the like were a compound of actual people known to me. She wasn't what I was looking for though, so after a few words I got out and repeated the same process (enter an apartment building, go around a staircase corner, meet someone) 2 more times.
The next time was a person that was inspired by one very particular person I know and remember from real life. I asked her about her height which just cemented my realization that she was directly inspired by person IN I knew from many years in my past. Again a few words and I moved on.
The third and last time there was yet another person in the same line, sort of okay looking, but not what I had tried to summon as eye candy, leading me to the realization that somehow my summoning parameters must've gotten restricted to known persons and looks.

I entered one of these apartment buildings again and basically entered a separate space with no way to get back, and it was bigger on the inside too. Hammer space time.
The place was very dimly lit and the architecture was almost persistent, changing just ever so slightly with every passing minute of me strolling through the corridors. I opened doors and explored rooms.
One of the rooms I distinctly remember was a storage chamber, and while looking into it and the vicinity I heard some disembodied voice talking about inheriting riches and getting through an awful time in an awful city, with him thinking he wouldn't have made it otherwise.
      Odd but okay.
I also stumbled upon a room that was described as my classroom, with me being the teacher, but no one was there. It also had elements of a kitchen, a train station and not enough chairs.
Here I'm not perfectly sure about the chronological order, but some time before or after those rooms the dream sort of dimmed, and thinks became hard to see, I had the feeling of slipping away. I really focused on everything I was feeling, similar to ADA exercises, and a pulse ran through everything, giving it an invigorated and strong color for a moment. Also the corridor I was in when I did that had some mixture of grass and tiles on the floor.
Towards the end of the dream I heard a screeching sound to the left of that corridor, a terrifying cacophony, which only after a couple seconds I recognized as the train delivering my students.
I went to the room again where I saw them, I think like 5 or so. There was some Yu-Gi-Oh theme to them (for whatever inexplicable reason), and one of them was a snake dude, with scales and weird eyes.
Upon looking into his eyes the dream ended somewhat abruptly as I felt myself waking up, I knew there was no going back so I got up and happily started writing down this entry.

Now I'll see if I can repeat this semi-reliably. Sure, I might not be able to pull it off every night, but this was to deliberate and specific for me to believe it to be a fluke. I can do it again. And more importantly I then should be able to actively incorporate Ryuuko into these dreams.
    3. Waking up in my old home and immediately noticing that something's not right

by , 10-19-2016 at 10:57 AM (The Erratic dreams of StaySharp)
I woke up in my old home in M, it used to belong to my family but we had to sell it and now someone else is living there. I was lying in the house, behind the front door, the architecture and furniture were not 100% accurate but pretty darn close. I got up, looked around and noticed I was not wearing trousers, just normal underwear and a t-shirt.

In 99% of dreams I would probably come up with some super stupid reason for the situation, and then would go on to do some other stupid stuff.
Not this time, it took me only seconds or maybe a minute in the dream to immediately ask all the right questions.

-Why was I sleeping on the floor, in a home we don't own anymore?
-Why can't I remember the previous night? Alcohol or something stupid like that can't be the reason as I stay away from all harmful (and thus oddly enough legal) drugs...
-Why is there no one around?
      -And where is my wife?

I walked around and scouted the house to see if I'd find anyone or anything of interest. There were 5 cats and Todd the dog. I don't know why the dog had a name or had that in particular name, but well, whatever. I noticed the staircase to the roof was also not how I remembered it.
After leaving the pets I ended up in the living room. I have a really blurry memory about my father at this point, but I can't figure out if he was there or not.

Then I had the realization that I was dreaming, I did a nose-pinch RC, and sure enough I got some nice fresh air anyway. And FK all of existence, a couple of seconds later I wake up, again.
That's why we can't have nice things.

    4. Bluescreen, double smartphone and taking a stroll through the snow in underwear

by , 03-16-2016 at 12:20 PM (The Erratic dreams of StaySharp)
I was in my current home, mostly correctly rebuild in my dream as well. One of the most notable differences was the fact my apartment was on the wrong side of the house. In the beginning my wife and my best friend were there, we were in the staircase I think. We talked about something I guess but I don't remember well.
The point from which I remember the dream well was when I was lying on my bed, looking at the screen of my PC across the room. It suddenly had a blue screen and then a really weird boot screen, like it would be possible and even reasonable for a boot screen to look like that, but I know none that actually does.
I kind of had a sync of the blue screen on my smartphone too, there I saw something that didn't fit in there. Oddly enough I can't seem to chronologically order these events correctly either.
Also I suddenly had a perfect copy of my smartphone, on in each hand. I swiped in my complicated unlock pattern, but I didn't copy it correctly, rather I mirrored it. Both phones unlocked.

At this point I had a smile as the fact I was dreaming had undeniably dawned on me. A nose-pinch RC confirmed that.
I didn't pay any attention to the fact I was apparently only wearing underwear and went outside (that whole getting lucid in a dream and going outside thing seems to become a thing in my dreams nowadays), it snowed and it was pretty cold. I, walking around with hardly any clothes, felt that cold in a somewhat realistic, however not unpleasant manner. After some time I got used to it and didn't really feel any cold anymore either.
I spent most of the time walking around my neighborhood, which also was mostly correctly, all the while looking at my hands and turning them into lizard type hands, scales and stuff. It worked out pretty well too. The last thing I remember that sometime in between I shouted something out into the dream which seemed to help stabilize it.

Eventually I woke up, or rather I had a false awakening. It seemed like I was in the same home that this dream had build, or mostly similar anyway, and my wife was beside me too.
I shouted the same thing and startled her, and stupidly didn't realize I was still dreaming. Had I realized it I probably could've gone on a bit, but alas I woke up shortly after.

    5. Arsenic meat is good for lucidity

by , 02-03-2016 at 07:45 AM (The Erratic dreams of StaySharp)
Now this dream had a seriously weird start. I think there was something happening before I got lucid but I don't remember it.

I was in some kinda camp close to a small creek. There were tents and some structures which I guess were placed to dry clothes or so. I had some self made "arsenic meat" with me, it was in an aluminum pot and was essentially raw meat in a clear liquid that consisted mostly or to some degree of arsenic. It smelled abhorrently chemical and I know that I accessed a Wikipedia page on arsenic via some kind of direct neural interface, no intermediate electronic device needed. On the page it talked about its psychoactive properties (not existent in real life as far as I can tell). Either I ate a piece of that or the smell alone was enough to induce said effects and I experienced visual distortions and some degree of control over these. That promptly made me lucid.

Spoiler for TL;DR: I had sex with my wife:

After that I had a FA but I did not wake up. I was in my home, and for once it was spectacularly close to my actual home, only minor details like color were off which is super rare. I was standing in the bathtub and was fiddling with a tarp that had seemingly become dirty when my wife and me had fun. I had also worried about my wife getting pregnant since we didn't use any contraception. And the tarp was mostly in the toilet... the weirdness of it all snaps me back into lucidity, I do the nose pinch RC. I go onto the bed in my bedroom, and my wife was also there, talking about something. I know I half consciously listened but since I knew it was DC I didn't pay it too much attention. I thought about trying shared dreaming but ultimately didn't try.

I jumped outside, I'm pretty sure from my balcony. I look at the sky and... it's obviously bright day from all my surroundings yet it's actually night in the sky, it's black and I see the stars.
(I only saw it in the dream but found it weird after I woke up and thought about it, this mix between night and day at the same time is new to me.)
I thought about flying up but didn't want to spent too much time in a black void, so I improvised and filled the space partially with a beautiful green nebula, it worked quite spectacularly. I fly up into the sky, aiming at the border of the nebula. I was rather disappointed to see that the night sky was only a texture several kilometers above the planet. Instead of fixing it I turn back towards earth and spin it around to take a trip to Japan. It takes me a moment to find it, and it's not a normal earth globe either but I managed. The globe w
as... it was still a perfect sphere and the countries had roughly the right shape but it was vastly scaled down, so that each country was only barely a large city. I entered Japan on the east in some kind of harbor and went westwards into an industrial area. I remember seeing some soldiers and then I used a weird high precision zoom interface to inspect my surroundings. I see some products and wares and eventually find and pick up a lead-pouring game, you know that Sylvester tradition thingy. Right then I'm violently yanked out of the dream and wake up.

And incidentally I realize I had this dream right on time to finish my first TotM (I had this dream only hours into February), and I didn't know the task by then either.

    6. First lucid stellar flight

by , 01-25-2016 at 01:27 PM (The Erratic dreams of StaySharp)
I was in a room in a surprisingly normal appearing house, it was rather dark and the only light that was present were from the stars and a planet that appeared unnaturally big in the night-sky. It had a mostly yellow surface but it was possible to make out details without a telescope.

This immediately made me lucid and I reality checked. Just like in a previous dream I tried to break the window I was looking through, oddly enough again without success. I just opened it and jumped out, it took me a moment but then I took flight towards the planet. The dream told me it was 4 parsecs away but that's not a realistic unit, it was more likely maybe... several times the distance between earth and moon? Something with that magnitude. I accelerated to FTL speed and reached the planet within a matter of seconds. I worried about decelerating properly but actually managed to do it perfectly and had a soft landing. The plants and animals there were loaded as 2D sprites at first (typical case of dream WTF) and were replaced with actual 3D representations a moment later. I don't remember much details about them, I think because there weren't many details. As far as I remember I was on some kind of beach and the water was to my left.

Then comes a somewhat hazy segment, I'm pretty sure I traveled to another planet but I don't remember much about that.

On this other planet (which I think was grayish-green) I saw a really weirdly shaped moon, which was very close and on crash course (stellar stuff, it might have still taken months for it to hit). The shape was a bit like a thimble, but with other details. There were more of those in the system, and then I also saw a damaged Tactical Borg Cube (it was wrongly labelled as destroyed).
I went close towards it but suddenly found myself inside without entering it, where I fought with some turrets. After this I woke up.
    7. Driving from the backseat

by , 03-26-2015 at 03:08 PM (The Erratic dreams of StaySharp)
So... in this dream I was driving a car from the backseat as if it was normal. Then the police stopped me and I freaked out a little, realizing that this was probably illegal. The whole weirdness of the situation made me do a nose pinch reality check, and the policemen (there were 2 but I only properly saw the face of 1) gave me a strange look. I didn't believe this was not a dream so I did another nose-pinch reality check, this time it worked and I knew I was dreaming. Now the policemen gave me an oddly satisfied look and then the scene switched, and I was suddenly in some kind of artificial cavern underground, though natural light came in through places in the ceiling. I spent the rest of the dream really taking in the details touching and manipulating the sand on the ground, appreciating how real everything felt.
    8. Falling elevators, an awesome panorama and being interrupted while lucid again

by , 09-25-2014 at 03:39 AM (The Erratic dreams of StaySharp)
Today I had a fairly interesting dream in which I even became lucid! What a darn fuck I've been awakened to instead waste more life, time and health in the company... Anyway,

I was in some rather huge complex which was located in the sky, far above the clouds. It might've been roughly inspired by a documentary about the Sony center in Berlin I saw yesterday in the company. The construction largely consisted of mostly golden metal strands, with mostly glass and/or transparent materials for grounds and walls, so the clouds could be permanently seen from anywhere. I remember there was some event going on, and for some reason Sasuke could be heard, expressing his hate for purposeless people. I was distrusting the elevators I used and eventually one elevator stopped one level below the place I wanted to go out on, just that there was nothing there yet, so as the doors which were transparent anyway opened I looked down onto clouds and a long fall. I was somewhat scared (not much though) and then the elevator started dropping. It was a really long fall though, so there was plenty time to stop it, and I was talking about fixing it with some voice, and eventually it was fixed in time.

I already was close to the ground where an astonishingly awesome panorama greeted me. It was rendered at first in the old FF8 style, I was probably on some cliff, close the ocean. Ahead of me was a big yellow platform on which I controlled some characters in FF8 style, I think there was another platform behind it, smaller and slightly to the right. Further ahead was either another island or a part of the one I was standing on, connected through the land I saw at the edge of my vision to the left. My vision also seemed to be wider than in real life. Where the beach of the opposite piece of land would've been was a stone construct with water pools and creeks, with repeating patterns.

I've been taking in the awesome sight which grew increasingly realistic, making me lucid by sheer awesomeness and feelings!

My fear from the situation with the elevator before turned to its opposite and I jumped down the cliff, gently gliding, until the alarm wakes me midflight...

    9. Touching gravel and turning into Ryuuko for a small glide down the cliff

by , 12-14-2013 at 12:49 PM (The Erratic dreams of StaySharp)
I was at some kind of bus or tram station, I think it was somewhat similar to one I know in real life, always driving through on my way to work. Oddly enough the actual street or railroad seemed to be missing though. There was a lot of gravel on the ground and a cat, I remember touching both and being surprised at how realistic it felt and used it to try a slow stabilizing start on my dream which also worked at first, somewhere in between these scenes I also must have done a RC as I was lucid most of that time (I also remember that RC, just not when exactly I did it).
After I thought I took the dream slow enough I intended to fly, succesfully turning into Ryuuko and jumping off a near cliff, gliding for some way, then I remember how I suddenly saw myself (or Ryuuko) from behind, able to pick up on some details (mostly the not black as thought, but instead colorful, blue-green scales, but it also ended my dream. It also looked like some kind of forest but I can't remember the details as much as I'd like to.

    10. Breaking the glass and spreading my wings

by , 12-14-2013 at 12:28 PM (The Erratic dreams of StaySharp)
I was on my way to work, I was driving in a car through the mountains, and it was a beautiful, already somewhat bright day, the complete opposite to my actual way to work. I got lost there but realized how far away from reality all this was, then I suddenly was in a building with a nice view of the mountains and did a nose-pinch RC, with success.
Out of a strong urge to fly I dashed forward, broke the glass of the window and spanned my wings, starting to glide immediately. The world then was filled with repeating patterns which I could control to some degree, but the dream faded fast.
    11. Lucid when the Elevator drops

by , 05-21-2013 at 08:37 PM (The Erratic dreams of StaySharp)
All I know is that I was in some kind of hotel and that I was in an elevator, and then for some reason it suddenly dropped down and I realized this kind of danger is unrealistic so I RC'd and became lucid. I tried to "zone" out of the elevator but to no avail, for some reason I didn't have much control, it was much like my visualization attempt fails. Even though the elevator just went up some 30 or 40 meters the drop took about a minute or so after which I at least got the elevator to slow down, but I wasn't really any much lower than before (when I turned around I could see out through a glas wall).

After that I already woke up because I was freezing as hell in my tent...
    12. First lucid induced through hypnosis

by , 03-26-2013 at 01:28 AM (The Erratic dreams of StaySharp)
Before falling asleep I was listening to a hypnosis Session of Jody Whiteley from youtube. It was this one to be precise: Sleep Hypnosis Easy Lucid Dreaming - YouTube

Spoiler for Beginning of the dream (Sexual Content):

TL;DR of above: I had sex with an unknown girl.

After some time I heard about someone who was now being searched europe-wide for impregnating some random girl, and that person was me. There was an high bounty on my head (12500€, or something like that, maybe 10x as much) and I was really worried about the Situation. Some time later I was in a room and thought about the situation when I came to the conclusion that I never touched anyone apart from my girlfriend, and that I'd never do that without a really good and strong reason either. Let alone impregnating anyone, as I REALLY HATE babies entirely, not to mention I'm concerned that our planet is overpopulated anyway.
At that point I already knew I was lucid, and did a nose-pinch RC to confirm that.
I applied what I heard in the Hypnosis video, as I got lucid I tried to react to the situation with detached interest. I don't think that made a lot of difference, but I guess it improved stability at least a little.
I immediately went out to search for my dream guide again, and stopped in front of a big screen-like thing which displayed different landscapes, soon after I woke up.

      Spoiler for Improvement Notes:
    13. First shared dreaming attempt

by , 01-05-2013 at 08:18 AM (The Erratic dreams of StaySharp)
It's so damn long ago I had a reason to make a DJ entry, but finally here is one, even if it's not much.

I was in a room that looked kinda like the cellar in my tertiary home (M), but it was brighter, cleaner and more colorful. I was there with my girlfriend and we were talking about something. I totally randomly pinched my nose and 2 seconds later I realized that I could breathe through the pinched nose and what that means, so I repeated the check and got lucid.
I immediately wanted to try and pull my "real" girlfiend into the person in front of me, hence start a session of shared dreaming. She seemed to be interested doing other things but I still tried, woke up a short time after that though.
    14. A small trip to space

by , 10-14-2012 at 01:08 PM (The Erratic dreams of StaySharp)
(I think I'm not recalling the real beginning of this dream, so I'll start from where I start remembering the dream)

I was sitting in a bus and it was night, I think the bus was driving through some kind of tunnel. I was looking up and there was a hole or window in the bus there and at some spot we were driving through I could see the sky and the stars. It was just for about 2 seconds that I could see them and the first moment they looked normal but the next moment the amount of stars I could see started to heavly increase and they were forming a shape, a little like a magical seal. I was literally thinking "WTF?" and pinched my nose, and I could breathe perfectly, making me immediately lucid. I got up and looked around me (there seemed to be some random stuff in the bus) and told myself "all this is not real", resulting in some energy coming from me (I think) which dissolved everything to a more clear state, as well as helping me to stabilise.
Like usually I teleported to another place, I was left in a rather empty room, pretty dark but with some blue and purple colors. Looking out of one of the windows I saw space, looked like a blue galaxy. I wanted to go there so I went closer to the window with the intent to pass through it, but when I came closer I saw a reflection in the window, caused by the lamp in the from, preventing me from going there. So I simply opened the window and jumped through which worked well, I told myself "there's no gravity in space" so I only fell a few meters down and then I started floating. The blue part looked a lot like it had been painted to a wall because I could see a cube like shape from the inside (like when you are in a room). I turned around and went to a more red part of space, there was a sun and a bunch of asteroids around it. I thought about a certain track called Nebula (EBF3) which I then heard playing. The details of the stellar objects were going down a lot though and I only saw them in polygons. I was lightly jumping from one asteroid to another and tried to raise the details but I woke up.

    15. Not a particularly special lucid dream

by , 07-10-2012 at 02:55 PM (The Erratic dreams of StaySharp)
It was a long and detailed lucid but I'm not perfectly sure about the chronology of some things and actually I can't remember it too well.

I know that I was on a plaza of some kind of city in the night, I don't know how I became lucid and what exactly happened there but I tried to fly, while looking into the sky, some weird stuff happened, my vision blured and I lost lucidity. A moment or maybe a minute later I was in front of a building and saw another building kind of hovering above and I associated that with my flying attempts from before, did an RC and became lucid again. I tried to summon a clocktower for some reason and then I ran through the city in high speed before I woke up.
