    1. I almost forgot what it was like to have lucids like this; the dream world is incredible....

      by , 03-08-2013 at 03:38 PM
So just for the record, I've gotten lucid three times in the past four days. >.> But I haven't felt like recording them because the one from Tuesday just totally disappeared from memory, and the one from yesterday I remember basically nothing of either, but I remember all of the non-lucid bits both before and after it. I guess I might add that one in here.... But the first one, I want to say that nothing important happened. But I might just want that to be the case. ._. There's really no way to say for sure. The second one... I'm pretty certain that the only thing I did was phasing, which is of course nothing new for me. I remember experiencing it and everything, I just don't really remember the experience itself. Oh well, the one from last night very much made up for it....

Oh, and for the last few days I've been taking 400 mg of L-theanine a day, divided into two doses of 200 mg with one in the morning and one in the late afternoon or early evening, usually.

      Yesterday

#1 - But why are we in a skyscraper to begin with? [Non-Lucid]

I was in some school class in a huge skyscraper in some downtown area, and there were random people I graduated from high school with, this girl who sits behind me in my speech class I'm taking this semester at college, and my parents, for some reason. There was a massive storm coming our way with tornadoes visible through the windows and everything, and I was holding my mom's hand as we were all scared. There's a flashforward and things get hazy, but I remember seeing people evacuate but thinking that it wasn't on the same day but it was the same "windy season"....

#2 - Who would build a bathroom like this!? >_< [DILD]

The details of this have gotten hazier since I didn't care to write it down at first, but there was some gigantic computer mouse whose cord stretched all the way across some city streets, and it got pulled away and I tried to chase it but lost track of it. I remember seeing my old high school friend AB's car, but then things get blurry.... This is around where I became lucid and phased but then my next memory picks again at the non-lucid point. :T I was spending the night somewhere with AB, M, and these guys J and Ma who I met through M. The next morning, I woke up and started blasting some really heavy club music and M got excited, and her boyfriend D, who's suddenly there, turns to me and says something like "We can catch up later." I then realized that I needed to go change my clothes so I went to the bathroom to do so, but there were big windows all over the door so it was very easy to see inside. Everyone was oriented in the direction of the windows, but just not looking directly into them, but of course it was making me very uncomfortable at the thought of starting to change. J was saying maybe they should turn in a different direction, but then I woke up.

      Today

Last night, I took 250 mg of choline bitartrate immediately before going to bed. I'm fairly certain this had an effect, particularly on the lucid.

#1 - This would have been great to become lucid for!! [Non-Lucid]

I was playing some bizarre new PSP game the whole time, and there actually was something going on in the rest of the dream too but I pretty much missed it all because I was so focused on playing, so I don't really remember the plot anymore. What I remember about the game was that it had a setup where you had a team of playable characters that reminded me of the structure of NIS games, but it was mixed with a simulated life raising element like chao from the Sonic Adventure and Sonic Advance games, and the actual creature and level designs were sort of Pikmin-like. I really wish I could've played more of it because it seemed really interesting, but that's about all I can recall of it, and I remember walking up stairs or something maybe to see my speech professor... but no more solid details than that.

I woke up from this dream with a very strong headache. I'm fairly certain that my head was smashed into this part of the backboard of my bed and that's what caused it, because the pain slowly went away in a way that I can only relate to when you wake up with a numb arm and it slowly returns to normal, but it was my first time having that type of thing happen so I can only guess. But I really hope that that's what happened because otherwise it would mean I woke up with a severe unexplained headache. >___>

      #2 - I could've told them this would happen... somehow. [Non-Lucid]

I was in a high school PE class (though I think the setting might actually have been my elementary school, sort of?) with O and people kept trying to give him balls that corresponded to different sports, but I remember equating these to video game weapons in my mind and thinking that they were doing it wrong because they didn't realize that "his growth charts are unique". Eventually he decided to play what I think was registered as either baseball or golf... but it's really just a bunch of balls bouncing around and people chasing after them with no clear goals. He makes the "winning play" I believe when at least one of the teams is "frozen" at 23 seconds left on the timer, but it switches to this weird TV view for it that only shows symbols to represent the player. He was excited that they run, but due to the odd way I saw it play out I asked him for verification that he actually was the reason they won, claiming that "they only showed the overhead", or some such nonsense. Suddenly he got all depressed at the thought because he didn't realize that he had won it, he thought he was just a part of it, so we asked some other guy and he said that that was the case. Suddenly O sank into despair, and this guy PR who I've known since elementary school tries to ask him what's wrong and cheer him up or something, but he proclaims that he may never play that sport again, and then walks out of the gym all dejected as class ends. On the way out I was trying to think of a way to explain his reaction to PR, but I couldn't really think of a good way to phrase it before I woke up.

#3 - I think it might have been inspired by Buffy? [DILD]

This was an odd driving dream, and I'm fairly certain I've had something like this happen before.... Basically, I was driving home in the snow at night, and I was stuck driving from the back seat where there was an accelerator but no breaks. As a result, I was forced to drive very slowly and frequently take my foot off the gas so that I wouldn't gain too much momentum. I have no idea why I didn't think to just climb up to the front seat, but I know that there was a car driving behind me too, so maybe I just didn't want to mess with the situation and cause any trouble. We came over this bridge in my neighborhood, and then when I turned on to my street it was suddenly daytime. Somehow I managed to go too far beyond my house though, and then this car started coming down the street in the other direction right for me, and I perceived someone else as being in the car with me at this point too, but I don't recall ever seeing anyone.... I started thinking "shit shit shit" because I couldn't stop the car or change the direction it was going in very easily, and then we ended up headbutting the other car. This is all unbelievably vivid... perhaps a mix of the supplements and the adrenaline boost? I started trying to rationalize this situation because I didn't want to have to actually be in a car crash again, and then I thought to myself "Wait, could this be a dream? This whole thing is pretty odd...." I climbed into the front seat and by then I had a feel for my state of mind and was sure of it, so I became lucid.

At this point I looked around at the street and the sky and just stared. This was one of those lucids that leaves you completely in awe from start to finish as you repeatedly tell yourself "There's no way a dream could be this real." As I looked over the neighborhood, there was no distribution of focus as in a regular dream, it was all fully rendered as a single image. It seemed exactly as if I was seeing it in waking life in every way, minus the snow. I ended up driving back down to where my house was (and I think it was using my first car which is long gone), and when I got there my house was pretty different. It was tall and thin, spanning multiple floors, whereas the real one has only one floor and is much more wide than tall. There were also large windows spanning most of the front face, and it had some kind of Greek-esque architectural design for what looked almost like a tomb on the ground floor, and it was covered in plant vines and everything. There was some large inscription at the top of this part, which was totally made out of stone, and I didn't get a good look at all of it but I do remember seeing the word "SOUL" in large print. Again, this was all extremely vivid. I wanted to go inside and check it out, as the front door was still right there where it should have been in the middle of that framework, but about that time I started feeling a headache again and
      woke up.

*sigh* That would've been cool to explore. That headache, too... not the real one, but this one in the lucid. It felt like the ones I get when I smoke too much or the last few times I tripped. I'm really starting to wonder if it's hippocampal in origin, and if the choline brought it out.... I guess this break from smoking will probably help in more ways than I thought, because it's going to be annoying if that headache keeps making an appearance in lucids. :/ Hopefully it was just a one-time thing though, and overall I still consider this dream very successful.
    2. 100th Lucid Since Joining DV!

I couldn't resist coming back just to post this quick little entry. Number 100!!

Catch Me If You Can [DILD]

I didn't make too much of an effort to remember the pre-lucid part of this dream, but what I do recall is that I was looking at multiple crazy new colleges with my old high school friend N, and he was interested in one specifically where there was this big paintball arena. Actually, I think he went from wanting to be in it to actually already being enrolled there, because he got to go into the arena while I had to wait outside (not that I had any burning desire to play paintball). However, around this time I became lucid and decided to see what the arena was like. All I knew of it so far was that it was totally inside and just set up like a maze with tall walls you couldn't see over that you had to find your way around in, and it was totally inside but there was plenty of lighting since the ceiling was still far above the walls. I started moving forward to phase through the wall into the arena and I was reminded of a discussion I've been in recently. I noticed that I was vividly aware of the solidity of the wall in front of me, but I was still able to drop that awareness willingly and pass through it without any trouble. As I did so, as opposed to normal how my perception just kind of blips, the entire wall was slowly decomposed into lines that disappeared as I fully got from one side to the other, and it was actually really cool, there were even little sound effects for it. This whole situation made me think back to this hacked character my cousin and I created on Super Smash Bros. Melee years ago, with a code that made it so that by pressing different button combinations you could activate or deactivate the collision detection for any map, and in combination with an infinite jumps code (to prevent you from just falling straight through the map to your death) you could basically hide in certain parts of the map until someone came by and you would jump out to attack them. I started acting off of the same concept in the dream. I would phase into a wall and wait there until a paintballer or two came by and then I would come out when they weren't looking and confuse them by running off and then phasing into another wall before they caught me. I was just having fun messing with them, but I allowed myself to stand totally still in one of the walls for too long and the dream sort of phased out and I lost lucidity. The dream briefly restabilized with me parked on the side of the rode somewhere with my car acting really weird and uncontrollable. I can't remember exactly all what went down, just that I got out of the car to look at it and suddenly realized that I was naked, and then I saw that there was another car full of people parked nearby who could just see me standing there totally clueless and I felt embarrassed. And I think that's the last thing that happened before I woke up.

      And that's that.

    3. Day 3: Just A DC

      by , 06-11-2012 at 11:11 AM
Dream Fragment - "Clavines (?), a warm drink made from strawberries. (I sure wouldn't drink that! ) Posting on DV, littlezoe."

      Just A DC [MILD]

I was at my old middle school, but I perceived it as my community college, and I was walking around in the hallways after a class with O. I saw this girl I used to know named AB, and then I became lucid when we were walking out of the front doors and I was asking O what he wanted to do. He said he would need to go home and take a shower before anything, and I realized that I actually still had a class to go to anyway. I turned around and waited outside the door with J, who was apparently in this class too. I lost lucidity around this time, and I don't remember much about the class except that I think it might have been an English class and it was over extremely fast. When the teacher let us go, it came back. I was walking out of the same front doors with J this time and laughed as I noted O coming back in. Still sort of in a transitional mindset, I turned to J and asked him "Is this our dream?"
"No." Well that was blunt. He started talking about something else, but I already knew I was lucid at this point and I know that J is one of my friends with the capacity for real conversation, so I wasn't putting up with this.
      "Wait, why not?"
      "Because it's your dream."
"Oh, so it's not a shared dream?"
"Nope, I'm just a... uh, D...C?" He looks at me inquisitively. I love that the fact that he doesn't know dream-related terms carried over into his personality, despite how aware he was.
"Yeah, 'DC'." I pause and look around. This whole time we'd been walking away from the school, first through the parking lot and now over a nearby field. I turned to him again. "Well then what do you want to do?"
He starts off a sentence with "Well, normally I...", but then the dream starts fading away. I heard more of what he said at the time and I'm pretty sure I even comprehended it (I think it was something to do with running?), but I can't remember it now. Everything faded to white, and
      I woke up.

    4. Boss Hotel Room And Meeting Melanieb, Hopeless Love Addict, Elementary School Reunion

      by , 05-07-2012 at 05:21 PM
I smoked some Alepidea amatymbica before going to bed last night to see if it would have a significant effect on my dreams, and it did seem to improve my recall from what it's been at lately. It's hard to say for sure, but next time I'll try to smoke it without smoking weed too close to it too so that I can get more accurate results.

#1 - Boss Hotel Room And Meeting Melanieb [Non-Lucid]

This dream is hard to remember as whole, it comes to me in a series of fragments, but I know that they're all connected. It started out with me and a few other people in this "boss hotel room", but the only other person I remember is this guy AB from high school. I vaguely remember doing something to have earned getting there and we were afraid that if we left the room the door would close and we wouldn't be able to come back, so AB took a laptop and held it up to the window. This caused a glow and a ray of light came out and he aimed it outside, as if it was like a system of mirrors reflecting the sun in a dark room or something. The next thing I remember is being at a restaurant in a casino, at least I think that's where we were.... I was with melanieb and she said she was going to help me be more social. I don't remember much else of that part. Next we were figuring out who was going to ride in which car to get back to the hotel room, and, though I can't remember this discussion at all, I know we collectively decided that there was "no sharing in group photos". After this my memory gets too fragmenty to put it in order. There was something with Kyle and Cartman from South Park, and then a panoramic view of the night sky with the backdrop of stars constantly spinning, and after that I woke up.

      #2 - Hopeless Love Addict [Non-Lucid]

I followed someone, I think it was O, into a college class about how to eat lunch. Since I was just visiting I didn't have to do any of the graded assignments myself. Someone else was also there just sitting in, visiting Kenny from South Park who was sitting just a little bit behind me. I quickly befriended a girl who was sitting next to me and, of course, I started developing feelings for her. We were talking about some singer (who I don't think actually exists) that we were both fans of, though she was more of a true fan whereas I just loved listening to their music whenever it came on the radio. I don't think she liked me as much as I liked her. Eventually class ended and we started walking through the hallway together, but there was an enormous crowd of people and we got separated until I woke up.

      #3 - Elementary School Reunion [Non-Lucid]

I was in another college class filled with people from my elementary school, mainly this guy NS and this girl J whose last name I don't remember but I knew lots of people (over the years, all the way up through high school) who had a crush on her. Uh... the basis of this dream is kind of private as I have a history with these people. But the point is that they were being really friendly to me, much more than normal, and NS even invited me to come to lunch with him after class, and it made me feel really good. We bonded a bit and then we got our report cards handed out (in college ) and ours were all terrible! My highest grade was a D, and my lowest one was an R. Mine was the worst of the three so I used that to cheer up NS and J. At some point I managed to come into possession of the couch pillow I normally throw around and keep next to my seat when I'm on my laptop at home, and I was trying to figure out how I was going to carry it to lunch with all of my stuff, but then I woke up.
    5. Family Guy College Class

      by , 04-21-2012 at 04:43 PM
      Family Guy College Class [Non-Lucid]

I only vaguely remember this dream, but it wasn't a fragment or anything, my recall lately has just been poor. I was in some college class where we were watching an episode of Family Guy. Supposedly, the episode was leading up to the start of some very significant arc to the plot, and the characters were letting us know that it was going to end at a very awkward scene because of that. The characters were also very visibly stoned, which I found funny. After that, I got up and wandered around this huge building until I found my way outside, then started looking for my car but was unsuccessful in finding it before I woke up.

    6. Ikenkokku Palace, Whale Support Group, In-Class RPG, Renovations

      by , 03-11-2012 at 05:21 PM
      #1 - Ikenkokku Palace [Non-Lucid]

There were a couple different plots going on in this dream, but I only remember one of them. Though I do remember that C was in the other one.... I was in high school, and D and I were in some fight but I wasn't sure what about. He was being really mean though, and I spent the whole dream mad at him but also sad and confused. In the end I learned that he had messed up while playing some game called "Ikenkokku Palace" at my house and that made him mad, but he wasn't actually mad at me or anything and he was just kidding around. I felt so relieved and apologized for being so emotional. In the end it switched to me being on a computer and listening to some playlist that Erii made online and thinking that it was really cool. (I sure have been dreaming about Erii a lot. )

      #2 - Whale Support Group [Non-Lucid]

I'm in some marine biology class and I join a small group of students starting a secret organization with some ridiculously long name that's some womens' whale support group, though guys can join too. (In fact one of the founders was a guy, and I pretty sure long name it had ended with "and we play with our penises". ) I'm pretty sure the stated purpose of the group was to support "women, African Americans, and whales." Eventually the group is revealed to the teacher as a way of taking her off guard because they thought she'd be against it, but she actually loved the idea and wanted to join. We were all happy, and I remember jotting down a sentence or two in a book about Dr. Who (which I don't even watch) thinking that I was going to write my own book, but I don't remember about what.... Class ended and I got up to walk out, but then I woke up.

      #3 - In-Class RPG [Non-Lucid]

      I remember forming a bond with some girl in a class and I felt like maybe there was something deeper there, but that part of the dream is very blurry. I went to my next class after that, and I'm taking classes with D and C (but C eventually turns into M) and we're playing some confusing role-playing game as an assignment and they're super into it. I don't really remember how the game works, but D is close to winning but then M activates some instant win thing no one knew about (not even him) and claims leadership of whatever their RP was about. I watch them go through some REALLY long and totally ridiculous in-character dialogue (they're so into it ) and it skips forward to us in a bedroom with D's little brother S also there. I say "You guys are INSANE. >w<" and grab some clothes I happen to have there - green velour pants, a white undershirt, and something else I can't quite remember - and start walking around the school which is gigantic. I'm looking for my dorm room and starting to feel really tripped out and scared for some reason until I wake up.... I walked into someone's room and there was some stoner guy on the bed who was clearly high, and I was embarrassed and apologized saying I was high too and just lost, and walked out. I heard him saying as I was walking through the halls that he was afraid I was some undercover FBI agent or something. >.>;;

      #4 - Renovations [Non-Lucid]

I found some anime DVDs to watch in my room, and a garbage truck parked right out in front of my house as part of renovating it. (??) My dad was painting the outside wall of the house by the deck, and my mom was swimming in the pool. That's all there really was to that.

    7. New College Dorm, Easy Money, Dream Journal, Joking About Celebrities

      by , 03-09-2012 at 07:16 PM
A lot of my memories for the night are really splotchy, my recall was pretty bad. Plus, I got really distracted for a while after waking up and didn't take the time to read over my dreams until now. As a result, some of this probably won't make much sense. :T Anything in quotation marks is just a direct quote from my notes, and something I couldn't really figure out.

      #1 - New College Dorm [Non-Lucid]

"Looking for a new college dorm and seeing a lot of people in the process, getting ready to make an offer but afraid someone else might get out. While looking for someone to get out, somehow I accidentally set up a coke deal through O and he even has it for me by the time I wake up. Apparently I lived under some housing label before and never knew and the employees are shocked because normally everyone who does is close as family and I just never noticed before since I was such a loner, and they were gonna play hard ball but now it seems like they really want to give it to me."

      #2 - Easy Money [Non-Lucid]

We opened a restaurant at my house, and I spent pretty much the entire dream taking peoples' money and credit card numbers but never actually brought any orders out.

      #3 - Dream Journal [Non-Lucid]

I'm visiting some high school class and we're having some mid-day recess, and apparently I go there day after day because the days keep skipping while I'm outside. On the last day I actually go back inside and see the classroom for once, and the teacher puts on a movie. I pull out a yellow paper pad to doodle or something, and notice on it the words "Dream Journal". Obviously, I remain non-lucid.

Dream Fragment - "Something about Linkzelda41 and eating an orange?? So faint...."

      #4 - Joking About Celebrities [Non-Lucid]

"Wandering around school, make friends with some of the girls in that class. D's there, and O. Something about celebrities, we joke about one of them going crazy and attacking the others in a story or movie or something. Then I head through the hallways with D (other D) thinking about what to do, I have class but I end up getting game guides to read instead."

False Awakening - "I think I must have went home, laid down in bed to read the game guides, and passed out early."

Terrible recall. >_< Maybe I should try drinking apple juice before bed or something!
    8. Creating A Troublemaker, The Wall And The Robot, The Car Thief

      by , 02-17-2012 at 06:33 PM
Nothing too insane tonight, though I suppose maybe a little wacky. I smoked some weed yesterday so I guess that's to be expected. I know I had one dream before any of these, but my phone battery was really low and it's acting kind of odd right now, so I wanted to just let it keep charging and never wrote down any notes, so I forgot it.

      #1 - Creating A Troublemaker [Non-Lucid]

I'm in high school and I inadvertently get some guy I don't know as well as this girl S who was in my Chinese class to take ecstasy with me. (I'm not sure what I meant by inadvertently, that part of the dream is hard to remember now, that's just what I have written in my notes. ) We're in a class being taught by my old European History AP teacher. Afterwards the guy and I end up sticking around until everyone's gone and I ask him how he's feeling, he's starting to get a nice strong roll going so we leave and I'm getting him all set up to have a good experience. He wanted to drink a tiny cup (like one of those things you can get for ketchup and mustard at most fast food restaurants) of warm pee, and I was trying to tell him he didn't need to do that as long as he made sure he had lots of water. I got him to try smoking weed too to increase the psychedelic edge to his roll and he started taking massive hits from a joint, like so big that the entire hallway we were in was suddenly filled with a haze of smoke. I had a joint too but I never started taking hits from it. :T Anyway, so this guy is showing off his incomprehensibly iron lungs in the middle of a school hallway, and I'm just saying "Uh, dude.... >.>" (not that I wasn't holding my joint out in the open as well, but at least I wasn't smoking it ) but he keeps walking further and further ahead of me and I get separated from him through the crowd of people walking around. I could tell that all the stoners around were mad that he was smoking weed so openly and blatantly at school, so they decided to go beat the crap out of him. (Not a stonerly plan at all!) So the dream ended with my watching that from the distance without being able to stop it.

#2 - The Wall And The Robot [Non-Lucid]

I was in a new college class on the first day and hoping for some friends to have the same class as me, but in the end they didn't. There was a girl, M, and a guy, J, who I both knew though. I had been wanting to sit at one of the long tables with a friend but since none of them showed up I wasn't sure where to sit, but then I saw that there were individual desks too. M was sitting in one and J had taken the one in front of her, so I went to the one in front of him but the chair there was only half there so I went one further and sat down. I turn around and thank M for making me realize there were desks. She asks why it seems like I never do anything myself, and J and I simultaneously answer that it's because I'm lazy. Then he goes on to talk to her about me texting in class and stuff. I turn around and start contemplating my laziness, but then I notice that our teacher is a... is a... well... like... a gigantic wall of colored squares (from what I recall, mostly blue, green, red, yellow, and orange), and each square is on a bar so they can flip around forward or backward and act independently, but they tend to move in patterns, like waves or symbol designs. My view goes third-person and zooms up to the wall so that I can stay directly above wherever the current pattern is in flipping the squares, so I quickly zoom all over it to follow it, and the wall tells us a story about some robot he knows that's in the hospital, that is apparently not true but one of the conditions of listening to the story is that we have to act like it is. After his story things go back to first-person and he tells us that we have to go visit the robot for him, and we point out that the story wasn't true but then he calls us on breaking the condition. Then, all the squares go flat again, and then several rows of them flip over to reveal a chart that stretches pretty much all the way across the wall. On the bottom of the chart there is a row of names listed sequentially, and he starts reading them off in order slowly and awkwardly, claiming that this whole thing was the robot's name (I think it was mostly an extremely long gibberish first and maybe middle name, followed by the last name Hillary). And then I woke up. o_o

      #3 - The Car Thief [Non-Lucid]

With an old friend, D, I go to my old community college to pick up some food (Subway, I think?). On the way there we were talking about some "Taco Bell girl" who had apparently done something bad at the college and gotten arrested, possibly involving my car. We get there and park by the side of the building right by a bathroom first because I really need to pee, but when we do there are a group of girls from my high school standing there looking strangely at us. I could tell this girl N wanted to get into my car for some reason, and when I had walked far enough away from it she started running toward it, so I ran back to catch her. She started trying to jack it and almost drove off, but I stopped her and she just started digging through all of my stuff. I finally ruined her efforts and she told me she was sure I'd have a trophy from the Taco Bell girl incident or at least my laptop on me or something worth stealing. I pushed her out of the car and D (who had done absolutely nothing to help) and I drove off, talking about how not only did we not get food but I didn't even get to use the bathroom. Suddenly we're back at my house and joking about how we hope next time she doesn't try to brainwash us into handing over our cars or something because I'd be fine (even though I wouldn't because it's my car she wants??) but if they got D they could use his car to bribe me into handing mine over, and then I said "Yes, finally it is mine, hahahaaa. " and we laughed and D says that if I had his car I'd probably put a gigantic tank cannon on top. >.> And that was it lol.
    9. Why Do I Keep Dreaming About Gangs?, Killing Time, The Final Test

Managed to remember a good few last night, though I recall not writing some down because they were depressing. But, the last one I got down was pretty... interesting lol.

#1 - Why Do I Keep Dreaming About Gangs?

I'm in some kind of vacation house chasing what I refered to as "dust bunnies", they remind me of the fuzzies from Paper Mario (the black ones) and also of the spirits or whatever they were in My Neighbor Totoro. I'm waiting for my friend M to come over, but before she does I wander off and start walking around the neighborhood. Somehow I end up in front of some diner where there's a guy who looks like he's about to rob me and this other guy who was standing there, so I run into the diner, but then he comes in and holds the diner hostage. He tells us that this diner is now under gang control, and then we hear a loud noise like some kind of boom and someone tells us to run. We all make it out of this door in the back and run by a school bus down what is now a long and deserted field of grass with the diner being out in the middle of nowhere, and the criminal is running with us.

      #2 - Killing Time

I remember watching a video about a kid coming to terms with his asexuality, and that's it before I woke up.

      #3 - The Final Test

I'm in some kind of college, waiting to meet up with M again. I'm wandering around again (I guess I didn't learn my lesson before ) and I end up in a very strange hallway. Basically, looking down the hallway, there are glass doors leading outside just to the right of me. Beyond that on the right, just a wall, but also another door much further down. On the left, there's nothing but glass walls, that seemingly repeat row after row (the same length of the hallway I'm already in) and go on forever. Every now and then there's a line coming down the wall to show that that's where that piece of glass ends and the next one begins. Suddenly something starts happening outside as I hear a lot of commotion, and a wall of ghosts starts materializing on the other side of the glass, as far down as I can see. Different sections of the wall move closer and further away from me like in a wave pattern. I get freaked out and run outside, which causes all of the ghosts to dematerialize. Everyone seems to be freaked out out here too, so since the ghosts are gone I head back inside but some monsters have spawned and I end up having to fight them, and I lose and die. So I get sent back to my most recent checkpoint, when the ghosts first materialized, which seems perfectly normal at the time. I continue that same routine until I've died a few times, then decide that I need a new strategy. This time, I waited for the ghosts to become really solid and get further out of the glass and I realize it's a bunch of people I actually know. :O I realized that the ghosts weren't my enemy, and they told me that they actually want to dematerialize, so I do still need to go outside but then when I come back in don't stay to fight the monsters, just run down the hallway and don't stop until I reach the other exit. I nodded and did that, and I almost got killed again! But I finally made it to the exit. As I get outside, I meet up with J, and he says "Welp, we've finally finished college." and I respond "Yeah, and I only remember like three hours of class. " ... As we walk triumphantly off into the distance with a large crowd of people, the ending music from Star Wars plays, and my dream comes to a close.

    10. Seven old dreams.

      by , 12-05-2011 at 06:20 PM
Alright, here are some dreams I've been too lazy to record that I've had since my last major entry, I'm finally getting them out of the way so I can post some actually interesting stuff that I'm dreaming about now. I don't remember exactly what days they happened anymore so I'm just going to number them.

I was walking around college (although it looked like a fusion of my junior and senior high schools) with O but got separated from him, so I was searching around a hallway for him when Neil Patrick Harris ran up to me! I see that he's wearing a lab coat and instantly think "Oh, he must be part of the alien studies project." He grabs my wrist and starts pulling me while running so I have to run to keep up with him, and he starts talking about how they're starting some alien autopsy study where they're doing the testing on human volunteers first... for some reason. He looks back at me and says "Thanks for doing this." to which I respond "I never agreed to do anything." He ignores me and starts talking about how all of the other human volunteers they've had so far have ended up having some horrible aftereffects that I don't really remember much of, but they generally sounded terrible. He stops running so I do too, and he looks back at me and squints and just stares for a second, then says "...You'll probably be fine." We start running again as I say "Probably??" He starts explaining the mechanics of what they're doing, which I also don't remember well, but I remember him saying "I don't think this causes too much blood." (Causes too much blood? ) Then he goes on to describe how the machine they use was having some really bad malfunction in all of their previous tests as well, and there were even more terrifying things happening to the volunteers as a result of it, but after he stops talking he stops running again and stares off into the distance and says "I think they fixed that." As he was explaining that last part we had entered a science class room, and then he took me through a door in the back into a small office-like room where there was a woman in a lab coat sitting at a desk. Then he turns to me and goes "But first, I'm gonna do a magic trick! " He makes himself turn invisible, and then reaches over (but of course I don't see it) to a bowl on the desk that's filled with cherries and grapes, still on branches. He picks them up and starts tying the branches together and the woman (his assistant) says "It looks like Arby's food!" and I laugh and say "It's just cherries and grapes!" and she SLAMS her hand down on the desk, points to me with a pissed-off look on her face and yells "You have been warned!!" (I have?? ) He finishes tying branches together and I realize that he's made a dragon sculpture out of them, and he even opens the mouth and starts making screeching sounds (and of course it looks like it's doing it on its own because he's invisible). I'm laughing hysterically at this point and dropping a large number of couch pillows which suddenly appeared in my hands. He makes himself visible again and hands me a piece of paper that tells me not to be so worried about my future, and just take life as it comes.

I'm teaching a class and I'm doing my best to make sure that all of the kids behave, but they're all pissed off at me for some reason and they start stealing my keys and things just to torment me for hours until they finally hand in their homework to force me to do it for them and I realize that my dad's been making extremely hard extra homework for them to make them angry so I grab my keys from them and fly out of the room so fast that I leave a trail of demonic fire in my wake. (Flying has always been my strongest dream power for as long as I can remember, in non-lucids I generally travel at a normal speed but I can go pretty frickin' fast, the first time I tired it in a lucid it was accompanied by a sonic boom and the speed was so intense that it woke me up in about a second and a half. ) I make it home and start to cuss out my dad for being so irresponsible because's he's a teacher in real life! Then I walk out to the kitchen and see my mom there and say "Oh, mom's home." Somewhat anticlimactic of an ending lol.

I'm in a plane crash with a group of people that I went to public school with, although most of whom I didn't normally associate with. I remember that part of the dream because it was intense, but after that there's a lot of blurriness until the point when we're finally getting back on a new plane to go to... well, wherever it was we were headed in the first place. But still, we're understandably a little freaked out at the thought of being on a plane again. J checks his bags ahead of me and then walks off to the seats (which are conveniently located about ten feet away from where you check your luggage ), and I check mine and plan to go sit next to him but I'm told that I have to go take the seat up in the cockpit behind the pilot because I'm "being a troublemaker." I say "Damnit, does this mean I have to talk to A the whole time?" (Referring to myself in third person, literally thinking it's someone else, who I guess I'm annoyed at the thought of having to talk to. ) The guy responds "Are you serious?" and points to the cockpit. I go sit down and I'm watching out the front window. The plane is already in the air and is doing some serious loops through the sky, but it seems like a normal way to fly at the time. I watch as our view goes back and forth between the sky and the ground (we're flying REALLY low!) and at one point I look at a billboard and see the face of Charlie from Lost, although his face wasn't actually on the board... it just invoked the image so intensely in my mind that I saw it as clear as day, but it didn't actually enter the dream scenery, it was just kind of on top of it, like my mind's eye vision was exactly as clear as my normal vision... kind of hard to explain. Anyway, I'm starting to feel a little anxious and sick, so I go to the bathroom to look at myself in the mirror and see if I look like I'm sick or if I'm losing color or anything like that. When I get there, I see my face literally rotting, melting off, and turning to stone (especially my neck), and the grim reaper(!) is standing behind me. And I mean really detailed, with a fiery flowing black robe and blue and black swirls of smoke and a gigantic evil-looking scythe and this aura of pure darkness. I inspect myself a little closer and say "Nah, it's probably nothing, I'm just letting myself get psyched out." I walk into the cabin instead of going back to the cockpit and everyone screams and someone points at me and yells "Fridge neck!" I start freaking out again and go "Oh no, does it look bad??" and start scratching at my neck, while everyone starts making these D: faces that start expanding to be bigger and bigger until they cover their whole faces and then their jaws starts enlarging so that the face can keep expanding (which looks really, really cartoony), and then I wake up from an adrenaline rush.

O and I and some other students from our college are eating in the cafeteria of some school other than our own, and one of the guys who goes to that school starts getting really pissed off saying that we're not allowed to eat any food except from one small area, but everyone does anyway. I like messing with the guy because he's being a prick, and eventually he's so angry that he starts going on this loud, ridiculous speech, that ends up having some religious undertones, about how it's THEIR school and THEIR food and THEIR right to eat and yadda yadda yadda.... O comes over to my table and laughs at him with me while we eat our food and I browse the internet on my laptop.

This one is a little fragmenty. My log starts with this first part I don't really remember much about that reads "Save the world, emotional texting with M mad at dad to not be sad for him (crying)". After that my memory starts to pick up. I was playing a game, but I had to put it on hold to drive a friend of mine (M, but a different M from the first part) back to their car in [a nearby city] so that I could get back in time for the DMT revolution. I go to the back fridge we have to get something to drink, and when I get back there there are bottles of shampoo and large, empty glass mugs on top of the fridge for some reason. I just end up staring at them confused until I wake up.

Somewhere before this dream I had a dream that happened in anime format, I wish I could remember it.

I'm having a sleepover with O, M, and S. Originally it was at my grandparents' house and we were listening to dubstep and it was making me sleepy so I eventually passed out. I had a dream-in-a-dream about doing some intense dance moves with an old friend, C, in some big fancy kitchen. But it didn't last long, and soon I woke up at the slumber party again when everyone else had already fallen asleep, although the scene had changed to my house. Everyone else starts waking up and we talk about music that we heard in our dreams (mine was "Here We Go" by Bassnectar) and it starts transitioning from night to day. We hear a noise outside by the window, so I slowly creep over to the door to look but I don't see anything, but not long after that the curtains magically open by themselves and we see a creepy man peering in. o_o We all start freaking out and the man comes to the door so I open it and ask him what he wants and he says that he needs to speak to my dad and that "it's a matter of presidential importance!" O says he'll go back to tell him, and I turn back to tell the guy to hold on and close the door. I turn around again and see that O is now in the back room getting something to drink (lazy ) so I go tell my dad instead. I go to their bedroom and walk in and see that my parents are both awake, so I tell my dad he's needed and run back out to the door. When I open it I see the guy with a bomb strapped to his knee!! I run back yelling "He's a bomber, he's a bomber!" and everyone scatters and jumps down into the furthest-away-from-him corners of the house while he detonates the bomb, and I close my eyes and the sound of the explosion wakes me up.

Another fragment that I remember from right after this dream, I was sitting at my computer watching a fractal generator in action, VERY cool. I wish I remembered more!

Homer Simpson takes large amounts acid, shrooms, and morning glories and possibly other things at a nighttime hippie festival by [my middle school] and I see it as I'm walking by through the park, but somewhere down the line it changes to my cat, T, doing those things at a shamanic ritual in the same place. The next day O and I are at my house, and we're talking about how T must have tripped balls, and for some reason we have a white dachshund who's a little bigger than they would normally be, but I think she was actually representing an old cat we had, because we were aware that she was female and that T didn't like her, just like that cat. But now, T went over to her and started scratching her on her stomach (standing up with his paw outstretched, like a human ) until she gets up and happily runs away, and O and I talk about how T must have been humbled by his heavy experience. I feel inspired to take some mushrooms myself, which of course appear directly under me when I reach down to grab some. The dog comes over to me all happy and starts licking my nose while I'm laying on the ground waiting for them to kick in, and I wonder if she got a contact high from T. When I stand up everything is surrounded by rainbow auras and I'm starting to get heavy tracers, after I moved my arm there were three or four copies of it in different colors and levels of transparency. I follow O, T, and the dog into the laundry room and everything is starting to feel very dreamy (heh), then when I'm starting to feel some come-up energy building I turn around and walk away, and then I got woken up by the feeling.

And there's that! Now I can get caught up to date with my next entry.
