I can recall I was partially lucid creating this dream where me and Manei had been stranded on a life raft floating adrift for a week. But the weird part was that I was the director, and also the character. Like I was at two places in the same time. We came across this island and realized we were going to have to survive there until rescue came.
I can remember us taking all the supplies of the lifeboat and swimming to the island. There was a reef and we were going to have to abandon the boat.

I can recall some dream about my mom adopting this jaguar that came to live with us. It seemed pretty friendly for a wild cat, and let me pet it. It also seemed interested in swimming in this shallow pool outside of our house.
There was also something to do with with us moving to a log cabin up north.

There was some part about these rock crystals sprouting out of the ground next to our cabin, that had something to do with the people of earth disappearing.

There was a part of this dream where I was with K and I was telling her we had to leave for a remote area. Why? Because there was a nuclear power plant nearby and since everybody had vanished, there was nothing to stop it from melting down.
I can recall this connected to both of the other dreams in some way.

I woke up for a brief time.

I went back to directing the dream about the life boat. There was some aspect to it, it was like a survival show and the people had to dislike one another and not agree with their ideas to make the survival more interesting. Therefore it couldn't be Manei and I since we actually get along.
I repeated the scenario several times adding and removing characters from the life boat until it was about a couple of random, unrecognizable people.
The people had now been floating on the raft for three weeks. There were four DCs. Three male and a female, and they were now fighting over the last food. Somebody had been accused of eating all four rations of food while the others slept.
    2. The Hilarity of my recurring DCs (Semi Lucid)

So me, Lia, Jack, and robot arm girl (Need a name for her) are vacationing on this tropical island. I remember seeing high, jagged cliffs and huge trees stretching hundreds of feet into the air. It was a magnificent island to be on.
Unfortunately, we wouldn't be staying for long. Jack wants to take everyone out on a boat. We all head down to the dock only to find out that our 'boat' is a dirty torn up old raft with some rusty piece of scrap metal attached to the back that might have been some sort of engine. We all pile in. The thing can barely hold all four of us, and it's leaking.
Jack leads the expedition onward. The 'engine' we have is pushing us along pretty slowly, and occasionally one of us will use a bucket to throw water out of the boat. We get out into open water to find it calm and still. A thick fog rolls in , and there are garbage rafts floating on the surface of the water. We cut the engine and begin drifting slowly. In one of the heaps of garbage there is a fishing pole. Jack asks me to grab it and give it to him. I do.
He casts it into the water.
Robot Girl: Psh, yeah right, like you could catch something...
Jack gets a bite. Then all of the sudden he gets pulled so hard by the fish that he gets pulled out of the boat into the murky water. Jack grabs the boat with one hand and holds the fishing rod with the other and pulls us along. With this setup we were actually going faster than we were with the engine.
I begin to speculate about the size of the fish that must be on the other end of that line.
In fact the 'fish engine' goes on for a couple of minutes, and we keep on picking up speed. We get through the fog and realize we are approaching another island and like 20-30 miles per hour. This is the best part; the fish runs our boat aground on the beach and begins flopping around in the sand. Jack takes his survival knife and kills it.
The island we have landed on has a seafood shop and they will supposedly have a master chef prepare any fish you catch. We all agree to eat... whatever kind of fish he hooked. I couldn't identify it. It was one of those big flat fish. It was almost sort of diamond shaped, and maybe 18 inches across. He cuts it into four pieces and then exclaims that he is too hungry, and can't wait for the fish to cook and eats his portion raw.
      Gross.
We go into the seafood restaurant and they begin preparing the three remaining portions of fish.
]I am talking amongst my dream characters and become properly lucid.
      I wake up.

    3. Suicide Mystery

by , 04-12-2012 at 11:44 AM (Lucid Time!)
I was out on the lake in a small motorboat. There was also a large party boat with roughly ten people on it. Everyone was dancing and talking.
The guy driving the party boat decided to do this maneuver that was like a skid where he was going really fast and he turned the boat sideways. He started to do that, when without warning, we heard a gunshot, and a girl fell of the boat.
I went over and saw that she was floating in a pool of blood. Everyone on the party boat stopped partying and could only stare at the corpse floating in the water.
"She shot herself in the head" One of the people on the boat said.

I was in the office of some investigator, and they were trying to figure out why the girl had committed suicide. The investigator showed me an "expert diagram"
It was a cartoony drawing of a woman holding a shot glass and waving around a gun. I tried to explain to the investigator, It was quite obvious; the girl was flat out drunk and waving a gun around as a joke. When the man driving the boat tried a difficult maneuver, her finger slipped and she shot herself.
