    1. Chowderland, University Transfer (Great nonlucid recall)

by , 10-14-2014 at 12:36 PM (Lucid Time!)
I am at thie old health club that I used to go to as a child. I am swimming in the pool. For some reason, I notice that all of the drains in the bottom of the pool can be easily removed. I start picking them up, and putting them back to see how many of them are loose like this I plan on reporting this to the lifeguard or the pool maintenance crew later..
I then come across one in a very deep part of the pool. This one is the only one that is actually screwed down, but for some reason I end up unscrewing it with a dime or something. The lifegaurd came and asked me why I was unscrewing the drain cover. I told him it was because I was checking to see how many of them were broken, and I was going to tell the maintenance people later.
He told me to screw the drain back in and he would go tell the maintenance people, and that I wasn't in any trouble.

I recall some dream about my English class. The classroom is much nicer; we are all sitting at this big long table and there is this huge glass window that overlooks the college. We are discussing an essay project we are working on. (I can't remember if it was the same essay we were working on IWL.)
Many of the students are complaining that the essay project is way too hard. I am one of the few students to say that I actually thought it was easy. The funny part is while we are having this class discussion our professor is sitting at the and end of the long table, eating a pizza.
Our class discussion gets sidetracked when we notice that there is broccoli imbedded in the pizza.
"Is that a broccoli pizza?!" one of the students exclaims.
"Yes, it is. It's healthier than regular pizza!" the teacher replies.
"I've heard about those! I've always wanted to try one!" a third student says.
      ...
The dream about the English class somehow tied into a dream about me transferring to another college. I was sitting in the back of my parents' van. They are talking on and on about how transferring to a different college doesn't mean that I have any less responsibility or anything.
This new college that I will be attending will be across the country, in the downtown area of a big city. I recall us arriving. The entire campus is built into one huge stone building.

More dream music while waking up. This time it was this really odd drum beat with a wizzy synth sound playing overtop

      Chowderland
I've had dreams about this type of thing before, but this was the most in-depth one yet.
I had just purchased and installed this game on my computer called Chowderland. It was kind of like Garry's mod and The Sims put together. The game had a very open-ended simulation aspect and users were encouraged to use mods, cheats and other such things to produce these hilarious episodes.
I start up the game on my laptop, and wonder at how my laptop can even run this vastly powerful game. It starts up and I see 'Chowderland' on my screen in bright cartoony purple letters.
The game then loads your info from social media sites and makes your characters' life just like your life in real life. So it creates my character and then drops him into the world.
I actually wind up in a rather odd setting. I am in a clearing in the woods partially filled with a large meadow, and a dirt parking lot. There are no cars or anything, and it the weather is overcast. The first thing I decide to do is customize my character.
I open up the menu, and see all of this information such as how hungry he is and how much sleep I've had. All of the bars are full when you start out. I then open the customizations menu and begin changing things.

I want to make my character look like my dream-self rather than my waking life self. I think that later on I can meet other lucid dreamers in the game. I change the hair to a darker color and add the goggles. But I can't figure out how to make the bicolored eyes. I knew it was possible as I had 'remembered' seeing a video of another player doing it, So I just settled with both eyes being blue.
I then decide it would be really cool to make the game just like a lucid dream. I think about how it could be practice for when I lucid dream, so I decide to make NPCs for my two regular dream characters. I manage to create and add them with relative ease, and set them as 'followers' so they will always follow me around wherever I go in the game world.

At this point my dad came into the room and asked me why I had been on the computer for so long. I told him that I was playing this new game called 'Chowderland'. He then said that he wanted to join me, so he sat down on his computer and signed in to my world. I then noticed that there were about a dozen people in the world. All of them were my family members. It felt a little bit awkward having them in the world, so I decided to change the environment.
I opened up a list of environments. The first one I traveled to was an alpine mountain region with a lake.
      ...
I stayed at this region for some time, but cannot recall what I did here. I recall at the end, the Manei and Marcus NPCs had become tutorials and were trying to show me a survival aspect to the game, where you can turn off the cheats and play the game somewhat like Minecraft where you have to hunt for resources and build a shelter.
I then recall changing the environment to a tiny island with no trees, only beaches and then the center had a bunch of wildflowers.
I recall looking through a catologe of environments you could explore. There were literally hundreds of them. Some of them had special tags.
Shortly after, I changed the environment to the surface of Mars. I opened up the menu and decided to build something. I began building the steel structure of a house.
      ...
I recall exploring someone elses' world. The NPCs that I had created were nowhere to be found. For some reason the graphical quality of the game had gone down considerably. Their world was built in a jungle and had all of these huge white concrete buildings. There was a big ledge running through the middle of their base with a small ramp running up it. I was trying to get up the ramp but my character wouldn't respond properly and I kept on falling off of the ramp and losing health.

Somehow, Chowderland had become a kind of like a cooperative SimCity where each of your friends would manage a different aspect of your city.
The leader of the city wanted me to build an elevated rail system and had already researched the maximum level of elevated rail technology in the game. This gave you the power to build railways in all six directions; to the train could go right up the side of a building or straight down or something. Also, the rails could float and didn't need to be supported by anything.
This was probably a good thing because the city I was working on them with was HUGE. There were these massive skyscrapers on every block, with small narrow streets in-between.
I couldn't think what to do, so I began placing stations instead and figured I would find a way to connect them later. I found that immediately after placing a station, I already had 700 passengers waiting. This jumped to 1300. Then 2000. I started building to connect this to my main station that was a small building with a lot of space around it in an empty lot. But I got kicked off of the server for being too slow at building.

    2. Hello, Random Helpful Guide Character...

by , 09-29-2014 at 11:56 AM (Lucid Time!)
There was some nightmare about the military who had shot a kid riding a dirtbike. I didn't want to look at the scene. My friend's parents were involved somehow.
      ...
I am in a classroom, but it feels like I am also in K's house. Everyone is turning in essays but one student just turns in a paper with sharpie written on it that says something like 'I will turn in my essay tomorrow.' Everyone in the class thinks it is funny, even the professor. But he says he is still going to give that student a bad grade.
The professor then rolls down a screen, and says that we are not doing class and simply having a movie day. The movie: some alien invasion movie where giant human body parts fall to earth. The movie is supposed to be really scary and I 'remember' not liking it. But I have to watch it for a grade, it has something to do with what we are learning in class. I might as well at least try to enjoy it. The professor says we can move anywhere in the room, so I decide to sit on the floor in the back of the room.
I sit down, and the opening credits roll. They show the alien invasion that happens through a bunch of severed human body parts. Legs, Arms, Hands, Heads, etc. They are all orbiting in a big vortex above earth. The professor asks some question about how this relates to some kind of art or something.
Then, who I could only assume was Manei entered the dream. After seeing her (my dream guide) for three years, I can sort of sense her energy, so to speak. But her energy felt off. I couldn't pinpoint what. This didn't feel like Manei.
Regardless, the dream went partially lucid.
This character said that she too thought the movie was scary and wanted to be with someone. She put her arm around me. Then hugged me.
While this was happening, I started to feel her energy. A lot of warmth and love. I was actually trying to figure it out. Was I dreaming? Who was this? If this wasn't my regular guide it was somebody who felt very similar. Whoever it was, it was a very good feeling. I wished that she would hold onto me for the entire movie. She fell asleep. Then I started to feel sleepy.
We then both fell over onto the floor, and the dream went wonky.
Everything went blue, and I was in a void filled with a blue cloudy energy. I was OOB, of course.
"Hello. I am p4qRo8y5 (something or other, not Manei). I am here to ask you permission to have spiritual intercourse (sex) with you."
A blue and white hologram of certain sexy things appears in front of me during this question. It fades afterwards. I feel no need to describe them, I don't feel like using a spoiler tag today. Just let your imagination run wild.
"What... NO! I don't know who you are!"
She doesn't seem to care that I said 'no'. I don't even know why I said 'no'. I guess I just thought of the last time I had sex with a dream guide and things got very, very weird.
Anyways, this character, probably a guide, starts talking very fast. She is partially speaking in a language of thoughts and ideas, rather than spoken words. I've talked to Manei and some other DCs before. It's supposed to be faster than talking.
This object appears as a hologram in front of me. It was supposed to be some kind of visual aid for what this guide was saying, but it makes no sense to me.
How did you find your way to this forum?-strange-visual-aid.jpg
"...Recently there was a spiritual rise in consciousness that caused many people around you to become more aware and awake. You, to some extent, but not the full extent did this as well ..."
The waveforms coming from the side of the shape increase. The circles begin to glow in small clusters.
She carried on about a bunch of other stuff I really couldn't care about. I don't remember anything else of what she said, but she talked for a solid minute at light speed while I looked at the diamond thing.
"... I am aware you are involved in dreaming, perhaps having some troubles with it. The problem is that you try to resolve everything with logic and reasoning, when in reality the secret to dreaming is creativity and happiness, the exact opposite. Don't feel bad for it, it is the way the human mind and society is structured. Now, tell me winch one of these jokes you find funniest."

Two jokes are presented to me as what I can only describe as very poorly animated flash movies. In the first movie, a couple of teenagers are sitting around the table. Then, a large anthropomorphic rooster shows up. But it's like not a typical rooster. It has this large cerraded beak and big buggy eyes. He then says "I've got alottt of math homework!", emphasizing the word 'Alot' in a strange way. The scene cuts back to everyone sitting at the table and they all have rooster heads.

In the second joke a boy is standing by a window. There is a city moving by outside so I can only assume he was in a mobile home. There is an Ipod on a speaker rack, and a girl walks by and turns it on. Rock-Metal instrumentals start playing. The window flies open and a flowerpot flies into the boy's face, then out the window. Some dirt is left on the boys face. "Lisa! What did I tell you about playing metal music in the house?!" The boy has a rooster head when he says this.

How did you find your way to this forum?-amazing-rooster-head.png

I then remember seeing a view, something like a you tube page with a whole bunch of these 'jokes' playing at once. Many of them have the rooster head involved in some way. One of them has this woman with these very ugly, scary looking lips. Oh god, please don't play that one.
      "So..."
"Um... Neither of them. Those were not even jokes. Just random visions. ._. "
I get a dream glitch and go backwards very quickly through the scenes in the dream. I am back at the hologram of sexy things. I am then back in the classroom and the movie is still playing. I am then back outside and the military is stopped and looking at a turned over dirtbike.

      I wake up.

Upon waking, I would say that the first animation was funnier.

'The problem is that you try to resolve everything with logic and reasoning, when in reality the secret to dreaming is creativity and happiness, the exact opposite.'

This is very quote-able. I should make this my signature.

    3. Lucid Dream #87: Math Class Fight

by , 04-06-2014 at 03:03 AM (Lucid Time!)
I am in my math class, and we are taking a test on material that I am not familiar with. That's basically all I need. I'm pretty much lucid right there, because I know it's spring break. But I still feel like I'm fighting for lucidity, almost as if part of me is trying to not become lucid. Whatever holds me back from lucidity, I fight past it after about half a minute. I know this a dream.
I decide to try and fly out of the class. I stand up from my seat, and start flying. I can either phase through the ceiling or just smash through it. I get up to the ceiling, but don't pass through like I expect. I just start pushing harder and maybe I can just break through. The ceiling begins to bend and buckle, and I think in a few moments, it will break and I will be free to fly around. But now... this is really great. I mean this is just fantastic. My math teacher jumps into the air and punches me so that I go flying through the back wall of the classroom, and telling me that I could not leave this location (the school) until I had beat her at a fight. What then followed was a full fledged battle between me and my math teacher. I can't remember the fight blow for blow, but it did drag on for awhile. The fight had a similar feel to one of the fights from Man of Steel, in the way were were punching one another through walls and flying around the inside of the school.
The fight eventually reached a climax where I ended up cutting part of her face revealing that she (my math teacher) was in fact some terminator-like robot with human flesh over the top. After this, I felt as though I could fight without remorse destroyed the cyborg.
