    1. Dream Bits: Mammoth-Eisenhower and Lanes, Airplanes fly Thru Buildings, Bonnie and Parachute Jump

      by , 09-16-2017 at 04:51 PM
08-31-2017 -- Let this sit for too long, and the ones for the last couple days, as well, so they will probably all come out as fragments, rather than detailed enough to get full entries for themselves. For today's dreams, I know there were bits with Cindy L., and something about delivery driving or mystery shopping. I know there was something with Joe L. and cell phones (probably being broken or dropped or something) and Ubering. And then the finishing bit ended up being in an Eisenhower Park-like setting with hints of Mammoth Cave. I was walking near a river above ground, and there were hints of some sort of miracle-like healing tunnel rumored to be in the area. It had been mentioned earlier, during a camp-out (perhaps with Joe as the scout master), and I was wondering where it was, and looking for it.

The 'cave' areas were looking quite man-made, and there was supposed to be one 'pipe-like' tunnel leading to the special healing area, but instead it looked like some large sort of sewer with dozens of pipes coming in. When I started asking around, some of the regulars made me aware that there were several levels of the cave, and the healing tunnel was on the lowest level. Unfortunately, it has been raining recently, and I can see at least one large stream of water pouring down a ramp to lower levels, and am being warned that there is at least a 50-50 chance that the lowest level is currently completely flooded, and that if it isn't, it soon could be. Interesting dream, that I wish I could remember in more detail.

      ---

08-30-2017 -- Or perhaps one day earlier. Who can say. Odd dream where I am riding a bus with mom, and talking to the bus driver. For a couple of minutes I take a seat in the row right behind the driver, next to a black woman, just to chat. But when we finish our brief conversation, I excuse myself, apologize to the black woman for encroaching on her space, and move further back in the bus. Soon after that, I find myself standing near a building as a low-flying airplane flies right into it at fairly low speed. The building cuts an airplane-like shape into the wall, much like a cartoon.

The building turns into the Pentagon, and soon the airplane is backing out of the building again, unharmed. We're discussing these new planes that are still light enough to fly, but strong enough that they can pass through buildings without bringing harm to themselves. Meanwhile, I am right behind the airplane, filming it coming out of the building with my video camera, while having to throw myself to the side to avoid being run over by its tires as it backs out of the building.

Find myself sitting on what starts as the bus, but soon turns into the airplane, itself. We are in the process of being recruited to work for the US government in various capacities, and I decide I want to fly the big 747s that can fly through buildings. Olga Vukavitch is the one asking us what areas we would like to be working in, and I am trying to bring up the footage I just shot under the airplane to show her what I would like to be doing, but my laptop computer is not cooperating.

Soon things turn slightly odd, as a bunch of enemy soldiers are storming into the plane, trying to take over and catch prisoners, and their leader seems to be Kim Jung Il. I'm kind of sitting back out of the way with my laptop. I have no weapons, and I don't have any idea of what to do. Somebody else is somewhat insulting of me, for not being more involved to try and stop things, but I excuse myself by saying I haven't been given any orders, yet. Sad.

      ---

08-29-2017 -- Or around there. I'm somewhere, watching Bonnie going on some sort of slingshot-like ride that has her being hoisted up in chains to the top of a parachute jump-like tower (like at Knott's) where she is hoisted up by her arms, but also kind of runs along the tower like a slightly off version of rappelling. When she gets to the top, she seems to be kind of making some kind of meal (or perhaps potion) with ingredients that just kind of appear in the area, which could be quite valuable. She is assisted in this by a woman who works at the top of the tower, who most reminds me of 'The Architech' from the Player-Owned Ports content of Runescape.

Meanwhile, I am helping her bundle up her creation in a large storage container, in preparation of getting it back to the ground. Oddly, though I am at first at the top of the tower with her, I soon find myself running around at ground level again. I seem to spend a lot of time trying to use a small elevator which doubles as a waiting room at the odd cross between a doctor's office and Hewitt Associates. It seems that what everybody thinks is an elevator may only be made to look like one. Or not. It is very confusing. At least at one point, I end up a couple of stories further up in the building, where upper management hangs out in rich quarters, with spas, and a large swimming pool, lording it over the peons. There is also at least a little bit involving them trying to get me to come back to another position in the company, but by this time, I have had, and eventually gotten fired from so many positions so many times, that I really have no further interest in working for Hewitt, and I am amazed they keep trying to bring me back. Would have remembered more of this, the first day. Too bad I waited three or four days to write it down.
    2. Bits: AC and Ben Franklin, Bellatrix deranged Ms Claus, Robin Williams at Coke Corner, Mammoth RPG

      by , 06-13-2017 at 07:04 PM
07-26-2016 -- Another strange dream back at the AC. Somehow I'm going in for an evening of entertainment at the Club, which I imagine has been re-opened. Lots of wandering around the different levels, looking for good parts of the show, and seeing odd things. At one point, there is a sort of a recap from a previous evening of performances, and Anne was doing Pamelia that night, but is in a different role tonight, so is having to rush to try and change costumes to react to the past bit, before changing back for this evening's entertainment.

At one point I find myself outside an odd combination of the Mask Room and the Library, where inside they are doing a strange show where Tim is playing the role of Ben Franklin, while Steve Cluck is cheering along, and I am trying to get my little digital camera to take good videos, which just isn't going to happen. At another point, I run into Dean Ambrose, and am trying to tell him how much I've enjoyed his recent wrestling ... and also how cute his girlfriend (Renee Young) is.

Soon I'm in a corridor between shows, and Tim pops by and is just kind of visiting for a few seconds, and asking me to try and help direct guests into the Library for the next show, while Anne is just kind of nodding at me, seemingly ready to be friends again. I am walking kind of fast through an area that is shaped rather like the area around Space Mountain and the Space Stage at Disneyland, except there are huge vines like the kind Tarzan kind of slides along in the animated flick, and I decide that since I'm helping to usher people along, I can get away with climbing up on them to help direct people.

      ---

07-24-2016 -- It's winter time, and it is snowing around Hickory, and I am kind of gliding down the street toward Greenleaf, as though I am ice skating. I'm just reaching the corner when a large truck of some sort (possibly a trash truck) comes rolling along toward Dale, and Ron Weasley is on it, and is firing curses off at me.

I grab the mirror of the truck, and hang on, letting it speed me down the street, and in trying to get a good angle to fire more curses at me, Ron gets thrown from the truck, and flies through the air before crashing to the ground. He's now got enough problems of his own, that he is ready to leave me alone.

I return to the Hickory House, and realize it is Halloween, and I know I always face some kind of attack on Halloween, so I am trying to prepare for it, setting up secret passages through the house, and putting in wards and defences, and trying to set it up so that when the Death Eaters attack, they are forced through limited channels where I can concentrate a lot of fire power on them to try and take them out.

I manage to fight off evil Halloween-type creatures and some Death Eaters, especially with Dumbledore's help (he just shows up and is helping in the battle, even though he seems to be disappointed at how much I'm hurting the bad guys) but soon things start to change, and we're back to Christmas time, and I'm having to fight off evil, leering snowmen, and corrupted Christmas elves, and worst of all, a super-evil, cackling Bellatrix dressed up as Mrs. Clause, as she tries to invade through the sliding glass door!

      ---

07-20-2016 -- Can't remember most of what went before, but I'm walking through Disneyland, avoiding a parade, all trying to reach Coke Corner, and hoping to listen to the piano player. When I get there, there are several pianos arranged both inside and out, but nobody playing them at the moment. What there is, however, is a very young Robin Williams (young like 20, not like a little kid) in a small set of bleachers, doing comedy routines, and cursing at people when they don't react properly to it ... and somehow Disney finds it to be a good thing that he is cursing at their guests, which I don't really understand.

      ---

06-00-2016 -- No idea when this was actually dreamed ... sometime in June or July, I think, but I never got around to writing it down. I am again puttering around in the version of Mammoth Cave that started in another recent dream inside the drainage ditches, before it became the caves. This time I am wandering through the caves again, but it seems to be an odd, live-action version of an RPG or a D&D game.

I'm wandering through a number of cave areas, dressed in armor and carrying a big sword, when it doesn't just fade away, while trying to understand the game, search out the solution to various quests, and interact with people. I'm with Dale for a while, but he eventually wanders off to do something else. Follow a cute girl for a bit, and soon run into Bynner, who is getting overly into the whole Lord Emperor Drake schtick, and annoying some people, while entertaining others, and hitting on some of the guys.

Meanwhile, I'm following along a sort of ice queen who is dressed in some lovely, semi-revealing outfits, hoping to become friends, when she takes some time out to work on some skilling. I'm distracted, when I find out the skilling is somehow making hundreds of huge barrels of homemade peanut butter, and I'm thinking I have to keep track of this place, so that I can come back with some marshmellows and some Rice Crispies, and make some top-notch Rice Crispies Squares, except when I look around, everything has vanished. It seems they get together for about one hour every month to make the peanut butter, then it is all shipped away in an instant, and is gone ... so unless my timing is perfect, I'm going to be straight out of luck!
    3. The Orphanage and the Fire Hose

      by , 11-13-2013 at 07:37 PM
11-04-2013 -- Earliest bit I can remember seems to involve playing some kind of live action computer game, perhaps on a sort of college campus somewhere ... but that is all I can remember. Eventually I find myself at a sort of supermarket or something, doing some shopping. I seem to have a coupon for a free package of premium hot dogs or some such. I see another person in another line with the same coupon, and they honor it, but when they ring me up, and I hand them the coupon, they tell me it is too late, and maybe I should come back tomorrow and try to use it. So I come back the next day and get in line with my shopping again, but the coupon doesn't want to ring up, and when I try to get out of the line to talk to a manager, I find myself trapped in an odd sort of turnstile, which I have to break to manage to get out.

When I speak to the manager, he tells me they have decided not to honor the coupon, so they are going to be charging me for the premium hot dogs. Oh, and by the way, they are also going to charge me for the turnstile I broke. They ask me to step aside and wait, and then they call the cops, who are going to arrest me ... how dare I try to purchase premium hot dogs with food stamps! I am getting rather mad at this point, and point out that with the coupon they would have been free, and even without, the price is the same as several other brands, just better quality. I also point out that they accepted the same coupon from somebody else five minutes before I presented one, and say I am going to sue them for discrimination. I'm really getting ticked.

It turns out I work for an orphanage, and am helping to buy food to feed all the kids, and as the cops are trying to arrest me, and checking into the whole case, they start to interview some of the kids to find out how and what they have been eating. They discover the kids have been eating well-balanced meals, and the orphanage has either 20 days worth of food stored up, or maybe 200 days (whichever, in the dream it seems a very reasonable amount). Somehow (no idea how), this leads to me visiting the kindergarten building at Walt Disney Elementary, late at night. Then I suddenly find myself at Peter Marshall's kindergarten area, meeting Ms. Yamamoto and talking about Ms. Onstott, all only possible because of a very late class.

Giles and the Scoobie gang are around as I run into Steve K at a bus stop. He's just left college to go start a job in Iowa, and he doesn't seem to be happy. I say it must either be his dream job (he shakes his head no) or a death in the family, and he is being forced to take whatever he can get (sad nod.) I understand. Steve goes to drink from a water fountain, and I reach for another one, turn it on, but plug the end, to increase the water pressure for him. Water suddenly starts to spray from my hand. At first I think it is too much pressure in the fountain, but as I move away from it I find the water is spraying out of my hand, itself.

The scene is changing to the dream cave system from many past dreams that seems to be a cross between Tom Sawyer's Island, hints of the Brookhurst Moon Park, and Mammoth Cave, with hidden passages, and collapsing passages that may be too dangerous to explore. Meanwhile I am still trying to figure out why I have water coming out of my hand. A very angry Penn Gillette shows up, stomping around and explaining it is our anger that causes water to shoot out of our arms, spraying his own high-pressure stream about, and pointing out to me a slight stairway into a small crevice that is supposed to turn it off. Problem is, I climb down into the crevice, but I am still spraying water out of my arms. So I decide to turn a negative into a positive, and am trying to figure out how to use the water to put out a fire, generate steam, and convert it into energy to sell for a large profit, all while directing my water spray to soak the Scoobies (who are still wandering around) and Mister T, who seems to be driving a taxi. Funny.
    4. New Dungeon Turns into Star Trek Ride or Walkthru, Followed by Walking Thru Disneyland

      by , 07-25-2013 at 02:02 AM
07-24-2013 -- There are hints of the new graphics from Runescape 3, or an improvement of the graphics in Roller Coaster Tycoon to allow a stronger black and prevent light leaking into dark rides, but not enough details to say there was more than a hint of them. What I do know is that this started as mostly some kind of game, with just a hint of real life, and quickly shifted to being entirely real life.

I am exploring a building somewhere, and find a secret passage or something, leading down into a deeper level of dungeon or catacomb, or whatever it might be, and am commenting on the great textures and looks of the very dark, rocky walls. The paths leading deeper down look much like mine tunnels, without the bracings, though there is also a hint of a dark, rough metal, in the walls of a spaceship. It is a maze of passages, great stuff, and there are some others here who have found the same secret entrance that I have (or perhaps others) and are wandering around, and there is a hint of the forbidden ... that this is an area we aren't allowed in, but have found our way into, anyway.

I keep wandering around, occasionally finding small, almost hidden branching passages that take me even deeper into this maze of passageways, while others comment on how I might get myself in trouble, but it seems like they are jealous that they can't find the hidden passages as easily. Oddly, for what seem to be dark, deep cave-like passages, there are things like restrooms and dressing rooms carved out in the depths, and I am half considering sharing a restroom with an attractive lady I see entering one. Instead, I put it out of my mind. Soon the cave passages are more and more coming to resemble passageways on a very dark (in coloring) space ship, and I eventually find myself in a sort of locker room / wardrobe where there are hundreds of Starfleet uniforms in various colors and styles, representing the different levels of star ship officers, and all kinds of other jobs not directly relating to Starfleet, but still seen in the various Trek shows.

I look around, and want a uniform, but I know there is almost no chance they have anything in my size. (I'm a huge guy.) So I walk off, disappointed, though moments later, a red uniform shirt like Picard or Riker wore just appears on me. As I continue to wander around, I run into more and more people, some in regular clothes, others who have also found the locker room, and have assumed uniforms. I feel slightly out of place, wondering if I have the right to claim a captain's uniform, but generally just act like I belong. Some of the people I run into are just wandering around, enjoying themselves, while others are role-playing. Some want to fight with people, dressed as the occasional hairy Trek monster, or more powerful intelligent races. One attacks me, and expects to defeat me and take my uniform, but I am wearing gloves covered in hair, like from the abominable snowman or bigfoot or something, and it gives me the power to defeat him, even though he is wearing gloves that can conduct an electrical current into his enemies.

Soon I run into Adrian Monk (it is Monk, not Tony), who is wearing one of the yellow captain's uniforms from the original Trek, and complaining about little nit-picking details about every other person he runs into. This one has the wrong number of pips on his uniform. That one is wearing the wrong pants. A Vulcan wouldn't speak like that. A Klingon wouldn't be caught dead in that color. The type of tiny things that would drive Monk crazy, or that a fan obsessed to a ridiculous extent would write letters to complain about. He starts to complain about something about my uniform, so I strip the shirt off, just to find that underneath it I have on the original Trek yellow, and Monk just has more to complain about. So I just start to walk away from him. But oddly, I could swear I know him from somewhere. Somewhere Disney, not from Monk.

About this time, I am slowly starting to make my way back out of the wealth of catacombs, and I run into a young woman with short blonde hair in a yellow shirt, almost a dead ringer for Tasha Yar. At first she thinks I am somebody she knows, and she starts to flirt with me. Then she realizes I am not who she thought, but still continues to flirt so I pick her up in my arms and start carrying her bridal-style, to the annoyance of her companion, who, for the moment, is also dressed in yellow, but who I recognize as Joy from the Adventurers Club, and she doesn't seem to like me, which surprises me, because I always seemed to get along with Joy. Now she is wearing the French Maid outfit, and the girl I am holding in my arms is another French Maid, though one of the ones near the end that I didn't know. Still cute, though. I comment on the outfit, commenting I don't recall anything like that ever being a Starfleet regulation uniform, and Joy makes a derogatory comment, something along the lines that she hates role players. (Seems sort of hypocritical to me.) I make another Trek reference, and she pulls her companion from my arms and drags her off in a huff.

As I finally make it out of the complex, I find myself exiting into Tomorrowland. It seems this is a new ride / walk-through that isn't actually supposed to be open yet, but I seem to have wandered into a soft opening or something. I head out, planning to do some wandering through the park, but I haven't been to Disneyland in several years (except for backstage at the Golden Horseshoe in a dream a couple of days ago), and I am really shocked when I reach Main Street. They seem to be doing one of the months-long themes like they have done in the past (ie Circus Fantasy, State Fair) but this one is a sort of cross between mafia, prohibition, and the roaring twenties, but very dark and oppressive. There are still lights on Main Street, but there is something oppressive and evil about them, it looks more like the red light district in Amsterdam than the wholesome looks of Main Street USA.

There is still streetmosphere, but instead of characters and barbershop quartets, it is more like gangsters, gang members, and the worse kind of flappers hanging on their arms, guns plainly visible. It is just the wrong atmosphere entirely. I try to wander over by Coke Corner to see who is playing the piano, and it is a dark haired female playing some dark jazz. Not sure, but it might have been Carol Stein. I find Main Street to be tremendously depressing now, so I try to continue on to Adventureland, and at the entrance, I run into three people from the Adventurer's Club, doing some kind of skit out in the streets, and I realize they must have a banquet in the Club or something. I think the three are Tim, Karl, and Philip, dressed in the old costumes for Fletcher, probably Otis, and Emil, and I suddenly recognize that 'Monk' earlier had been Philip dressed up and role-playing as Tony Shalhoub's character in Galaxy Quest. They are doing something that seems to involve putting together several 10 foot long sections of pipe and using them as a straw or something.

As I try to move into Adventureland, I find the entrance is blocked off for refurbishing, so I have to detour through Frontierland. As I am doing so, I run into one of the Hathaways I don't know, and am amazed to find we are wearing the same bright green pants. Odd ... I could have sworn I was wearing black pants when I was in the Star Trek uniforms. I continue into Frontierland, just to find that almost the entirety of Frontierland, Adventureland and New Orleans Square are closed down for refurbishing, including the entire building that houses the Golden Horseshoe Revue, which leaves me wondering about my new job there. [See dream from last night.] The Rivers of America are quiet, with both the Mark Twain and the Columbia sitting there, unused, in a sort of dry dock, and as I continue on, the first thing I find is actually open is the Haunted Mansion, just beyond the French Quarter of New Orleans Square. I try to cut through the French Market restaurant, to see if I can get back to the Club (which I guess has been moved here and located right between the Treehouse and Pirates), but it is blocked off there, too.

I am getting annoyed and tired, and end up taking a rest on a hand railing (very gently, don't want to cause it any harm), but one of the cast members starts to glare at me. Somehow this ends up in his pointing out a security camera to me, and me pointing out another one to him, and our getting into a competition to see who can find more of the somewhat hidden cameras quicker. He is soon amazed at how many of them I can point out to him, and I explain I can half-sense them, and half spot a bit of reflection off of the lenses. I mention that I couldn't spot any of them in the new Trek walkthrough, though, and theorize that might be because of how dark it was. (Never mind the cameras are easier to see in the dark, with those purple lights they have.) Somebody who was just walking past us says "Is that open now? I thought it was still a ways away." I mention the soft opening, and that the first day or two you can get a free Starfleet uniform, and he goes running off toward tomorrowland, while I wake up.
    5. Fragments including AC, Peter David, Mean Mom, Chases and More

      by , 09-12-2012 at 05:21 PM
09-12-2012 -- [Not much going on in the dream world for the most part, for the last week or so, but couldn't sleep well last night, woke a lot, and tons of dream bits. Most didn't come out long enough or detailed enough to post as full dreams, or at least I can't remember enough.]

Trying to use the toilet at the Hickory house (or perhaps in the back yard) but something is wrong. A part in the tank that controls refilling and flushing, but resembles a plunger, has stretched and broke, so the toilet is no longer working right. I pull out the broken part, that fits on the rest largely like a sleeve, and it comes off easy, and ought to be easy to replace. About that time, mom comes on the scene, says I have done it wrong, the entire thing needs to come out and be replaced, and I've damaged everything horribly.

I try to explain that the part that was broken and which I removed was very easy to take out, and should be easy to replace, but even if the entire thing has to be replaced, The broken part I took out couldn't cause any other damage, and it is no big deal. She won't listen, yells and screams, tells me to never try and fix anything in the house again, or even touch anything in the house again, and then in practically the next breath, orders me to fix other stuff in the bathroom.

I have had enough, and tell her no. I am leaving. She screams I am not, and tries to lock me in the house. I force my way out the door, and jog away from her. Oddly enough, though she is very heavy, she manages to keep up with me, and I just barely stay out of her grasp. Neither of us seems to know how she keeps up with me, except anger, and so I am running across streets, and turning around and dodging. I try to catch a bus, but mom is too lose, so I start running down Crescent, instead, heading down toward Marshall. Somehow she got trapped in crowds around the Braille Institute, and I manage to get some distance between us.

As I reach about the nursery, there is a mother, daughter and baby in carriage that spot me, spot mom chasing after me, and decide to interfere. They start chasing after me as well, Though I have been running toward Marshall, I end up in Smith's Food King, the mother still chasing after me, trying to maintain sight so she can lead my mother to me. I finally have enough, call for the manager of the store, and explain I don't know this lady, but she is stalking me. He takes me in the back, away from her, and is talking about keeping us separated, but I just rush out the loading docks at the back of the store, and figure I'll escape that way. I circle behind the store to a chain link fence that I can climb and escape the area, just to find the mother is now there with her husband and an entire second family, and they are all trying to catch me. They refuse to understand my mom was the one who was wrong in this situation, and are determined to catch me and help punish me, regardless. I can't even get far enough away to call Bonnie C for a ride to try and get out of the area. Lousy dream!

      ---

Most of this is missing, but a couple of the cooler bits were here, so ... I am in a sort of stadium, watching some sort of sport, perhaps water polo or something unusual like that. Along with the scoreboard showing the score, there is another one showing the purchase of food, drinks and souvenirs. And as the bars on these fill up, and then reset, I can claim a portion of the funds brought in. But they are moving very slowly, and I can see a huge amount of stuff being bought or sold.

I wander around to try and figure out what is going on. At first I think scans as things are thrown away aren't reading properly, but eventually I realize I only get the partial credit for the stuff sold from one food stand, one drink stand, and two souvenir stands, so what I have to do is attract more attention to my stands, to get more sales there, and earn more money. Soon I find myself back at the table I had been watching things from. But now there is a hint of wrestling, a hint of a balloon convention, and slowly more than a hint of a comic book convention. The person sitting across the table from me is Peter David, and though I have no idea what we have been talking about, he is passing me an autographed dragon shirt that he is giving to me because he has enjoyed our conversation. He says it is only a 2X, which wouldn't normally fit me, but he also says it is a very large 2X, and since we're both large guys and it fits him ... it fits, and I thank him for the great souvenir.

      ---

I am at the Adventurers Club on a very slow night, very early in the evening, standing in the main salon. The doors to the library are open for seating for the first show, but there is nobody here but me and maybe one or two others. I keep catching sight of actors heading backstage to animate wall characters to announce shows and such, but they keep noticing there is nobody to announce to, and stop themselves after they've barely begun, so I'm missing all the great shows. Pretty sure I spotted Graham as Hathaway for a moment.

      ---

Somehow in a shopping mall, being chased by aliens and taken prisoner of a sort. Am being handcuffed or led around, and am just trying to figure out what is going on. Was rather cool and interesting, except none of it stays in memory, so this fragment is mostly worthless to express it.

      ---

Am on a bus riding along, listening to people talking behind me. One of them seems somehow familiar, and I think I know him from somewhere, so am mentioning stuff connected to Disney or something. He just thinks I am nuts. Then he says something about Mammoth Cave, and I finally place him. His name is Jim something, and he wrote a small book I read about the cave (not Jim Borden, and not one of Roger Brucker's books, but a book that only exists in this dream). I tell him I recognize him now, loved his book, and wrote him a letter about it a few weeks before. He remembers my letter, and now we're kind of friends.

This brings into my mind the outline of a dream I can remember having recently, about a combination of the regular dreams I used to have that were a cross between Brookhurst moon park and Tom Sawyer's Island, and Mammoth Cave, with exploring small, local passageways, and trying to find lost connections that lead into much larger sections of the cave. [In the dream it was a dream I was remembering. In real life, I don't know if it was a real dream I had sometime recently, or was created from whole cloth within this dream.]

Soon most of the passengers have gotten off the bus, and we're at another stop where Graham Murphy is getting off the bus. As soon as he steps out in front of his house, he is surrounded by people (including a quartet dressed up as Disney Carolers) and starts leading them in Christmas carols. He seems to sing that style of song quite well. It is very nice.

      ---

Seems like there should be one more fragment here, but can't remember it now. If it comes back, I may edit this to add it.
