I can imagine how long this had to feel for you! Especially since it wasn't happy at all and extremely stressful. These dreams seem to set our mood for the day but tonight you will have a wonderful dream to make up for this horrible one. :-). Try to enjoy your day!

Yeah. If I remember correctly it's a "persistent" location that some people here from the forum tried to visit and some succeeded too.

If you still live in this house, think if there has been anything else unusual. Creepy feeling when alone like someones watching you? Other family members seeing, hearing, or dreaming things? Maybe you're picking up on something, maybe the house is haunted.
I used to get creeps and feel like someone had just entered a room I was alone in or something was watching me. It was the first place when my nightmares got so bad I became a lucid dreamer. My mom admitted to me years ago ( she didn't want to scare us as children) there was the dark figure of a man that would stand just inside her bedroom door and watch her.

I don't think it's haunted, at least not anymore. As a kid from the ages of around 8 to 10 I would wake up in the middle of the night out of no where and be scared. I'd then look to my bedroom door and see a shadow either standing there or walking past my door, or walking inside. Sometimes this shadow was just a shadow on the wall, other times it was a full body type shadow. I remember distinctively hearing its footsteps on the carpet in my dead silent room.

For some reason that all stopped when, one night, I planned out that the next time I saw this shadow being I was going to fight it with my fists and "make it bleed". Keep in mind I was around 11 or 12 at this time. That night it never showed up and hasn't since.

So you don't usually look like your waking life self in dreams? What do you normally look like in dreams?

I do look like myself, but there's always something different about me. Sometimes I'll have bigger eyes, a different hairstyle, facial structure, and all that stuff. I'm perfectly fine with my appearance so I'm not sure why this is. It just occurred to me that it's a dream sign haha.

I couldn't take my eyes off the page as I was reading the cake part of your dream. XD Cake is so good. But it sucked how the cake fell. If that happened in WL I would probably explode. Also, I like how detailed you were in this entry. It felt like I was actually there as I read it and seemed believable at some parts even though it was a dream. I laughed when you said the broken up people were tearing each other apart in the chase. But for the part when you got hurt at least you were comforted and being taken care of.

Right, it was a tragic moment haha. And yeah I'm going for more detailed recall in an effort to get back to my golden recall days, and those days are returning for sure. It's weird how I experienced pain when I've never felt anything like it in a dream before

I looked in the mirror and I think for once I might have actually looked like myself, but I'm not sure.

As I landed, I felt the edges of the step dig into my feet. Two sharp pieces of the step broke off into my foot and with this I felt excruciating pain, something I've never felt in a dream before. I reached the floor where the escalator ended and I stayed sitting down.

Ouch. I remember I got caught in barbed wire in a NLD once. Not fun...

It took me around an hour and a half to type it up haha. I'm not complaining though lol.
