    1. Meditations by James Van Praagh: Very Beneficial techniques

      This is from the book "Adventures of the Soul" Journeys Through the Physical & Spiritual Dimensions, by James Van Praagh:

      (These meditations are best used by recording yourself reading the following meditations into a recorder, such as the one that already exists on your iPhone. You insert your own personal information & then you play it back for yourself. Remember to leave yourself some pauses where they apply so you can reflect on each section. Feel free to change things up to reflect your own beliefs & goals etc.)

      Your Souls Sanctuary

      Imagine yourself sitting in an ornate gold chair that has a red velvet cushion. You are alone in a room complete & utter beauty, & soft sunlight is shining in the windows. A fire is burning in the fireplace, & it warms the room. The walls are made of stone that seems to shimmer, & when you look up, you can barely see the ceiling. There are several large oil paintings in the room, & you recognize them as significant locations from your life.

      Walk around the room & take a long look at each painting. How does each location make you feel? Try & remember a cheerful time at each place. Lining the walls of this room are shelves, & they all contain framed photographs of you. Look closely at each photograph & acknowledge what age you are & who is in the photo with your. Each photograph makes you happy.

      The shelves also contain mementos of your life that you have cherished. Pick each one up & remember how important it was in your life. A flood of memories comes to you as you hold each each object. One shelf holds several leather-bound books. Take a look at each title slowly. The titles are the different lessons that your soul has chosen to learn. Reflect on how you are performing each lesson.

      Choose one of the books & carry it with you back to your golden chair. Open the book &, one page at a time, look at the photos inside. How old are you in the photo & who are you with? Are the photos telling you a story? What are you learning from the story? There is no judgment in this; you are merely looking & assessing.

      When you feel that you understand what the book is telling you, gently close it & hold it to your chest. Look around the room & take it all in. Feel the love that the room is giving to you. The room loves to have you here. There is no hurry; you may stay in this room as long as you'd like. This your home.

      When you feel that it is time to go, take a few deep breaths. In your mind's eye, envision your meditation space back in the human world & see yourself sitting in that space. Take the love you feel in the sanctuary & fill your meditation space with it. Slowly become aware of your consciousness in the meditation space. Take a few deep breaths & slowly open your eyes.

    2. Emotional lucids with multiple types of dreams techniques. Very interesting indeed.

      D1: Lucid- I was in this luxurious house where I murder had been committed. There was a dead woman. I was consoling a friend that I don't know in my waking life but I became lucid & because I felt so connected to her I tried to find out more about her. She was hysterical. I was also looking around the room looking for hints of any kind due to the familiarity of the woman.... I woke up briefly due to a power surge in my home. My neighbors pulled down a power line which switched off our new central air & other electrical devices. I got up to pee & turn the our fans back on but came back to bed because I just thought it was a fluke surge.

      D2: Lucid- I had just came back to bed & immediately started my dream state again. I was in a radio studio giving an interview with the same woman I felt I knew which made me intensively lucid because she was just in my last dream. It was about the murder & a house that burned down. I was confused about the house burning down. I had said something to my friend & to the listening viewers into the radio microphone. Suddenly I hear crying. I look next to me & my friend was now 2 chairs over & an older woman was between us & crying. I felt it was my fault & was apologizing to her because I was referring to my friend & was trying to tell this older woman this. My friend had her arm around this woman but I felt an overwhelming feeling of sadness & started to cry. I think she was the murdered woman. I woke up crying with a strong sense of grief.

      D3: Lucid- I fell right back into the dream from an awake state so I started this dream lucid of course. The scene changed where I was standing behind a house & behind this house was one that was burned down. My friend was there again.... I started to utilize the state of the dream & said we should start to rebuild the house. I had started to use my mind to move some of the rubble to begin the building process. But my friend was saying we couldn't do this without a permit so we started a conversation about this when I was awakened again because of the electricity issue in real life. My son had come into my room. Hence my dream was over before I could finish the house project.



      I spent the day using mnemonic method. Also a new visual of technique in particular that I've been doing over the last week where I look at myself in the mirror & close my eyes while holding the visual of my own face in the mirror.... I read you can only dream of people you have seen before in your waking life which in turn if you have not seen them in this lifetime they could be from a past life, alternate universe, duel reality, or parallel plane. If I was to take a guess to which this one would be it would be the parallel plane or duel reality...... I recently read a book that told of the "ether". It's what Buddhist's belief system & many other cultures who have a strong ability to astral travel talk of. I've also been doing the exercises to that allow you achieve such goal. It's a very interesting concept & my meditation practices are growing stronger due to these exercises.... I was able to achieve a number of techniques over this night which I'm really excited about.

    3. Claustrophobic tunnel escape

      Non-lucid to lucid nightmare of sorts. It's hard to describe the place I'm in but I'll do my best. Okay, say you were in a warehouse type of place but with no roof & there are these kind of balconies but industrial like. That's as good as I can describe it. The world is basically ending & these guys are telling me the only way out is to come with them. So we climb up to the surrounding balcony & it leads to a door & through the door there is this tunnel.... The threat that will end us all is this constant water rising & people are trying to get to higher ground but it's obvious that even that will not save us. They tell me we need to get into this tube which is like 2 feet in diameter & it will take us into the earth somewhere where we will be safe. So, I was like okay, I'm claustrophobic but it's to save my life right? Then they tell me we will be sliding in said small fucking tunnel tube for a fucking hour but we will be fine. I become lucid as I'm thinking I have to be dreaming because this is all scary but nonetheless stupid. And then I start to panic & I just need to get away from this dream & right on cue before I could change anything my husband calls to wake me up.

      I know why I had this dream. I was reading this book on meditation & it has you pay attention to your breathing. Breathe like you are breathing blue fluid which simulates the eather & yes in this book it's spelled that way on purpose.... And the tube came from when Mike & I had to go to one of the other pools recently due to our pool has the swim meet going on & he gashed his head in one of their tube slides that were made for kids... And I "am" claustrophobic & hate said tubes in general but I can deal with them if they are really fast or short rides.... Not to mention I'm overwhelmed with shit going on in my life right now so it all makes perfect sense. I would have liked to change the scene though because I had a dreamscape planned out. Oh well.
