    Non-Dream, Non-Lucid, Lucid, False Awakening

Well, what now? I couldn't even be happier than this as I haven't gained a restful night for this week. Finally, here it is! I went to bed at 11 PM. Since it took me half an hour to actually fall asleep so I just repeated my mantras over and over, with intentions to get these three: vivid/great recall/lucidity in my dream. Drifted off afterwards. Couldn't recall much, but oh well. I can remember a part where myself was on my laptop (as usual, daily life) chatting with people through my favorite IRC client: HexChat, inside my house. I was on another network though. That one was a game server I'm moderating (still being a half-op with +h flag). Great place to reality check with letters? Yes, indeed. I didn't do any at all, thanks to me. (Can't even whine.) As always, I don't really like getting into discussion too much so I just lurked around and saw people chatting. Soon, I found someone's name suffix toggling between two suffixes (I'm not sure, but I assume it's something like traditional 'busy' and 'away' status) at rate of once per second. It just looked familiar to how Dreamviews' !asleep, !brb, !away mechanism works (name|suffix). That person was on top of online users, their circle color in front of their name was also changing between red and orange! Completely impossible for HexChat. Highest rank possible on top is a person with +q flag, which will generate orange. Red one doesn't exist. That person (I decided to left unnamed for this journal) in waking life was only ranked with +a flag (SOP), yellow circle with less priority than +q should appear. I failed to even care about this, as I generally assumed orange as away mark and red as busy mark. Soon afterwards, a kid in-game (can't remember name/rank) said out a thing (message from in-game will be formatted and relayed to IRC server with a plugin) which, as always, was annoying and generally senseless. (Same, not going to leave any message here.) Things went on as that rapid-nickname-changing-user replied. Of course, it went as I expected it to be, both in physical and mental world.

I abruptly woke up from that without remembering what happened afterwards. Stayed on bed for few minutes, thinking back until I gave up before doing RCs then got out of bed. It was somewhere around 2:50 - 2:55 AM. (Assumed according to information I got from my phone afterwards) I went out of my bedroom and drank some water, took my phone which was charging outside of my room back in my room. Checked the time and it was 2:57 AM. I noted my dream and put the phone away, before drifting off to my sleep with mantras again. Hoping I would remember more for another dream. (I forgot to turn the fan in my room off. That eventually led me to a running nose next morning.)

I felt myself walking down the staircase as if I just came back home (it looked dark, as if I came out of my bedroom from natural awakening at night though), coming to place I and my sister usually stay. Of course, my laptop on my small desk to the left with a printer, followed with my sister's desktop PC. It looked exactly the same as how it looked in real life. I then looked for my Novation Launchpad in front of my printer and found 4 (or probably more). (I only own one Launchpad Mini in real life though. However, what I saw here looked like Launchpad MK2.) I picked up the top one and started running my index finger on the texture, feeling every millimeter of it. I just smelled it once before smiling to myself, then got some great texture feel on my wood desk. As I was about to plug it to my laptop, I noticed strange light coming from back of my launchpad. It was red light from a hole as small as most devices' reset button IWL has. I assumed that my launchpad needed some 'charging' so I just plugged it to my laptop. I was about to start doing things, but I just plugged it off and plugged it to my sister's desktop PC as I found it taking my desk space. (First, Launchpad doesn't have that light or that hole at all. Second, Launchpad doesn't even have a battery. It's a midi controller which requires plugging to your PC if you just want to use it.)

I somehow heard my friend calling me, asking for technical help. They claimed they were not able to plug their laptop's charger, it just didn't work. (Scene started changing without me noticing, to a classroom where we usually need to use laptops. Most of my friends' laptops have shitty batteries so they always have to use school's energy. I didn't even see my friends in dream though.) I then got on my chair right at 'my' desktop. (Wait, no, seriously. How the hell my sister's desktop PC is here, right on school's desk now? I thought I'm supposed to use my laptop.) I accessed the router. Though, I found it weird that I didn't have to input any passwords at all. (Router is interfering with energy source, much wow. A student can easily hack into school's network router, much wow.) I just looked around on the text and found many places to put things on. These are some of what I can remember.

    "Editing message":
[long multi-line message box with some messages on it]
(I suspected what this was, since it shouldn't even appear. I just wanted to see the example then just saw it immediately. A message popped up as if I finished editing some information, with a message "Your network is now mildly better protected!". Weird, eh?)

    "Unfortunate IPs:"
[8 message boxes next to each other on the sides, each with length of --------------]

(First four contained something, I assumed it was usual IP. Though, I remember myself removing one of these and added a thing to another box. There were some messages near this place saying that two microphone/speaker devices were being plugged in, only one is allowed at time. I generally assumed this might be cause of that problem also.

Much more boxes I can't remember right now. I should have taken notes of them this morning. Geez.

I woke up at 6 AM after some problem solving, right at time my mom tried to wake my sister up in another room. Tried recalling things, but couldn't really remember anything before launchpad part. I also noted things down to my phone when recalling. Stayed there for 4-5 minutes before I had to get out of my bed and starting my day. I still don't understand how I didn't recognize weird systems around me. But oh well, that was also one of recurring dream signs I have, eh?
