Lucid Time!

Hawaii Tsunami

I was on vacation with my family. Though I think it was some unusual extended family where there were additional family members. But they were not original members. Instead, they would just be near-clones of existing family members with perhaps slightly different features. Every clone was just given a number. So it would be like the original Uncle Bob, then a clone of him was named Uncle bob 2, Uncle bob 3, you get the idea. Some family members had upwards of 6 clones, while others, like me and my mom had none.

The hotel we were staying in was up on the volcano a bit. It didn't really fit with the theme of Hawaii. It was like a log cabin/ski resort type place. In fact, I think the general vicinity of it was surrounded by pine trees and snow. I remember that the hotel had a huge open courtyard room in the middle with a pool.

We were just getting checked in and something had happened that I had lost my room key card. In the dream I had my own small hotel room to myself. The room had a painting of my friend S's Fursona on the wall, and he was really buff and riding a horse.

I decided to go down to the beach. To go to the beach, you would have to walk down this dirt trail on the side of the volcano, then through a couple of city blocks with some medium sized apartments, hotels and shops. Then there was a concrete wall that was designed to deflect or absorb Tsunamis. I made my way down to the beach.

I had the strangest sense of Deja Vu, since I dreamed of the beach last night. I didn't become the least bit lucid though.

Eventually the water recedes. I recognize this immediately as a Tsunami is coming. Nobody else seems to notice, or even care really.

I run out of the concrete wall. I see a huge metal door close behind me, dooming everyone who was too stupid to see the water go out. A few other people make it out with me but everyone starts to panic. Just as the door closes, I see the giant wave, twice the height of the wall approaching on the horizon.

I keep running through the city. The wave goes over the wall and begins to demolish the city. I look back and notice that it seems to be moving much slower than a normal wave. I manage to outrun it and get back up the mountain to where the hotel is just in the nick of time. The wave comes just high enough to splash against the front patio of the hotel then begins to recede.

I remember some of the family clones talked about going out to look for survivors. I said I needed to go to my hotel room to get something. But I then remember I had lost/didn't have my room key. This had really bitten me in the butt for some reason.

Apollo 37

To be honest I can't recall if it was actually Apollo 27 or 37. Point is, another space travel dream. I can't remember exactly what the mission is but I think we're headed to the Moon base. They show us this chart with this chart lineup of all these rockets in varying sizes.

We are getting in the very largest of the rockets. This one will only ever be launched once and never again, because the world government is passing some law soon that will ban rockets above a certain size. But we must launch this mission in order to deliver a key component to the moon that is very heavy and cannot be shipped in pieces.

There is also some part of it where we need two extra teams of astronauts to escort the mission and protect it from another space agency who might try to steal the component we are delivering. So they are to ride in side pods on the main rocket.

This is meant to add some level of redundancy after the launch phase. (Something can go wrong with one of the three ships, and crew/resources can just be transferred to/from the other two.) Apparently in this alternate timeline or future or whatever, this buddy system is common practice in space travel.

The big day arrives and they ask us to get on board. I remember they got us into the seats. Marcus was involved somehow at this part. I think he got aboard with me. I don't remember us launching or in space or anything, however. I have some vauge fragments of arriving at a space station attached to a miniature moon, but I think that might be mixed up with another dream.
