I was back in Europe and Amy was with me. I felt like we were in Greece but I don’t quite remember. We were at this famous dock that was known for having lots of shark spotting’s there. It was like an old make shift dock with slabs of sun bleached wood nailed together and posts on the sides. The dock must have only been 5 feet wide and 50 feet long. The water of the Mediterranean directly below was crystal blue and only about 10 feet deep so you could perfectly see the white sands at the bottom. But what arrest my attention was not the beautiful dock or the clarity of the sea beneath, but rather the abundance of large, incredible sharks swimming passively right under me. It was like clockwork, every few moments (maybe 30 seconds to a minute) another massive shark would swim slowly underneath me. Giant whale sharks, over sized nurse sharks, long thresher’s, wide mouth basking sharks, all casually migrating by me. Amy was at a gazebo near the dock. The gazebo was placed at the back side of a restaurant and was all made of white stucco like concrete. As I took pictures with my phone (dream sign) of the sharks I shouted back at her in amazement. I had this feeling that I should be careful with my phone for I might drop it into that water and as I repositioned my body I did just that. It was strange because normally this would have really upset me or pissed me off but I was to happy to really care. The only thing that troubled me was that I had lost the pictures I took. I yelled out to tell Amy what happened and she shouted for me to come grab her phone to use it instead. I joyfully walked off the dock to her table, and plopped down into a chair at her table and examined her salad as she dug her phone at for me. I stole a taste of it and savored its sweet dressing and leafy green spinach. When she handed me her phone I walked back over to the dock.

I was making sure that I was holding her phone more carefully then I did my own and began to snap shots again. A baby whale shark passed under me and Allen was suddenly next to me. I pointed the shark out to him, explaining what it was and pointing out its white spots. Allen was amazed like a little kid would be, asking me a million questions. Its sort of funny because at one point he asked me if we would see any great whites and I laughed that they didn’t swim in the Mediterranean (funny because none of the sharks I dreamt really do). Allen had vanished from my dream and my uncle Kyle and his wife Erica had appeared on the dock and I waved them over. Then my dad appeared (dream sign, he’s been dead for 4 years now) and I excitedly flagged him down as well. The dock started to fill with strangers and then a “dock tour guide” appeared and asked if everyone was ready to take the dock out on open water so that we could examine more shark specimens. This meant that the dock was mobile, I was stoked. My dad ( huge shark buff) began to point to different species of sharks and expain different characteristics and facts to each one. After some time the boat docked and the guide said that we would be offered some free chocolate milk and that the tour would pick up again. He also said that if we wanted some cookies or macaroons that we would first have to impress a small panel of authentically dressed African leaders. I took my free chocolate milk, slurping it down through a fat red straw, and enjoyed its cool taste. Everyone got into a line to dance for the African leaders. I pooped my head into a very sterile grey bathroom to see that two ladies were having a serious conversation and then decided to get in line as well. The African leaders played some sort of salsa music and were not impressed by the nervous dancing styles of the other people. They looked utterly bored. When it was my trun I decided to give them a good laugh. I said that I couldn’t dance for shit so I turned my butt towards them and started to shake it. I then went on to do the “salt shaker”, “running man”, and many other classic horrible moves. Everyone in the room and the leaders began to laugh. They decided that I had “earned” my cookies and I walked on to get them. The dock guide announced that we would be getting back on the tour soon and to hurry up. My dad was ranting on about all the awesome sharks that we were about to see up close and I was getting super excited. I had noticed that I had somehow lost my chocolate milk and decided to run to get a new one. I was feeling such joy and then waking life Allen woke me up. >=/

This was one of the most enjoyable dreams that I have had in a while, even more then my recent lucids. Since I believe that there is no real difference between memories of a waking life and memories of a dream, I place this memory as one of the happiest moments in my life. Something about all those amazing sharks, clear blue waters, warm sunny sky, and talking marine life with my dad again brought me such a sense of joy and peace. I was pretty bummed when Allen woke me up from it before it had ended but I am just thankful for the experience.
