    1. Roll Rumble, Ping Polo, Shiny Shirts, and Deja Vu

by , 01-17-2011 at 10:38 PM (Alone With my Mind)
I just finished burning down the house, so I guess I should record my dreams.

      Torotot Wars (lucid)
      NON-DREAM NON-LUCID LUCID
I wielded my pair of torotots (Tagalog for paper towel rolls XD) and ran around smashing people over the head with them. They were attacking me inside my house, so the paper towels rolls are all I could find. I ran into my bedroom to catch my breath and do a reality check. 'Looks like I'm dreaming', I thought as air passed through my closed mouth. I walked into my hallway, and I slashed the throat of an enemy. What the hell? I thought, the short torotot had turned into my purple dagger. Sweet. I tried to turn the long one into a long sword, but someone knocked it out of my hand and tackled me. Before I could run outside to get to the apocalypse ship in China for the LPTC, he took my dagger and plunged it through my chest.

      Water Pong
      NON-DREAM NON-LUCID LUCID
I opened the door and sat down on the edge of the chair. Naomi and Nick were in bathing suits, playing a game in a small pool, kinda like ping pong and water polo. They were trying to score by getting the ball past a blue line behind their opponent. Naomi kicked Nick's ass, and I was asked if I wanted to play. I got up and waited a bit to think about it, and said, "Sure." I took off my shirt and got in the pool. I cracked my knuckles and the judge threw the ball into the middle of the water. I lunged for the ball, colliding with Naomi.

      For a Good Cause
      NON-DREAM NON-LUCID LUCID
I visited someone's house as my parent's talked with other parents about some sort of cause that had to do with school. I walked around the house and visited a room with high ceilings and an opening to an upstairs. I heard my brother and some of his friends up there. I yelled, "Get down here!" and all three of the jumped maybe fifteen feet downwards. They were all wearing ugly, shiny, gold clothes and flashy jewelry. "What are you wearing?!" I questioned. My bro said, "We are wearing this stuff for a reason," and one of his friends started doing some dirty dance.

      Not Again
      NON-DREAM NON-LUCID LUCID
Rachel, Bowen, and I walked outside to the parking lot to check something for our bio class with a few other students. We walked back into the classroom and it was fenced out by the construction workers. The sign on the class read, "Go to room 6311 for your backpacks, check room 3211 for Ms. D." "Oh well," I said, "let's just go home." Alex walked up to us looking rather sickly. "You want these peanut butter marshmallow sandwich? I'm to sick to eat." Rachel and I said, "No, thanks." Alex set it down on a tray by one of the pillars. Bowen ran back to grab it and took a few bites. "You're actually eating that?" I asked. "Mhm," he nodded. "Gross..." I watched some asshole driver in a tan Toyota speed onto the sidewalk. 'I know that car...' I thought.

This ending to the dream and the car I saw is exactly the same as the one I remember dreaming about three years ago.

The dream skips and my mom is taking my brother and I to the parking lot. It suddenly become dusk, and the street light ominously lit up a small section of the lot. The car was racing down the lanes of the parking lot trying to run us over. "Run!" I screamed. We all scrambled through shortcuts trying to outwit the driver, which worked almost flawlessly. We slipped between cars and the driver lost us for a second. My mom and my brother ignorantly ran towards our car; they didn't see the man driving towards them. "Wait!" I called out to them with no response. The man stopped and got out of his car. My brother saw him pull out a pistol and ran back toward me, but the man shot him in the back of the knee, and he crumpled to the ground. He pointed the gun toward my mom, and she whipped out a pistol from her pocket. I ducked down and heard two quick shots and a body falling. I don't know whose it was.
    2. Nightmare...ish

by , 01-14-2011 at 05:24 PM (Alone With my Mind)
Weird dreams, kinda nightmare-ish. All of the same location, appearing to be different dreams at different times.

      Dark Nights
      NON-DREAM NON-LUCID LUCID
I sat up from my bedroom. I got up to get a drink of water, but then the Christmas tree flashed alive for a second. I turned around and looked at it. It flashed again, brighter than ever, and I stumbled back into the wall. A man in the hallway said, "Go. To. Sleep!" He rushed me and I tried to scream, but I couldn't. I must have woken up, I'm not sure. I 'woke up'. I remembered the last dream I had where I had woke up in my bed and, instinctively did a reality check. I did atkins54 new reality check, and it passed, so I became lucid. I sat up again, and looked at the tree. There were presents under it which was unusual, all of them had been given out. I turned back to turn on a light, but I was electrocuted by the switch. Did I wake up again...? I was checking under the tree, and the presents were gone. I did a reality check to solidify the fact that I was (still?) dreaming. I walked into the hallway, and someone started to laugh and cackle, so I flew towards the garage exit. I was then suspended in air, unable to move. I tried to scream, "Light!" to increase the brightness of the dream so I could see who was laughing. But whoever it could manipulate my voice too. So I screamed, "L...AUGH!" He continued to laugh as I forced myself awake.

      Non-Dream Non-Lucid Lucid False Awakening

I am doing this straight from my memory, with no assistance from my physical DJ. I am hoping this can improve my recall. My dream also fades out at one point because not much action is occurring. I would also like to warn you that anywhere dark as or darker than a shadow in a dream gets me nervous in the dream, usually causing a nightmare, which almost got out of control today.

The dream started out slow. I was in a dark computer lab trying to solve a brain-buster on an unfamiliar website with my PE teacher. When I FINALLY figured it out, I got to leave. When I exited the lab I was outside my home at night. Very creepy. I got in the van that was parked on the street next to my house to find my mom, dad, and brother in the vehicle. I got in the passenger seat, and we drove onto the road. There were no buildings at all, and it was nearly impossible to see anything out the van. There was no starlight or moonlight. Finally, we passed by an odd building, with only a flickering green light to mark it's presence. There was another odd and almost invisible building, where we promptly parked our car. As we entered the building, Laser light shows were creating odd patterns, like the ones created in the iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch App, Uzu.

As we walked in the first door we could find, there wasn't much action happening except walking at the moment so the dream faded out. I remember entering and observing various rooms with my family, and seeing our tenant, W. As soon as the dream got clearer, I was walking into a bathroom. I saw a human-like figure hunched over in a towel. I got nervous, since this house has no inhabitants at the time, and he could be... dead. I took a tool (possibly a stick or pole) and whacked the towel off, only to reveal two large dolls put an an odd position. I threw them aside in disgust, and as I left the bathroom, I found myself in my parents' master bedroom. My brother was by the cabinet by the exit door. I said "Hey!", and he promptly fell over and started seizing. He morphed into this zombie-like thing and picked my up by the legs. At that point, I went into third-person view and started thinking, 'This must be a dream...'
Now lucid, I kicked my brother away and ran out the bedroom. I walked into the hallway with my mom. As we were walking out, I tried to summon a sword, but I wasn't loud enough, so a half-sword was summoned instead. I was like, oh well (I wanted to teleport somewhere to practice my fighting). I walked into the library, where my mom was showing me something that I can't exactly remember. It was some kind of can or something. I woke up because the dream was too boring.

      EDIT:Whoops, forgot notes.
      Notes:
      Vividness: 5/10 (Wayyyy too dark.)
Lucidity Peak: 3/10 (Did pretty much nothing.)

      Non-Dream Non-Lucid Lucid False Awakening

      ---------------------------
      ||Dream Fragment||
      ---------------------------

The beginning of the dream was hazy, and I don't remember any of it, but I ended up in a very dark hotel room. It was dim-lighted with dark brown furniture, and a curtained window. I was looking for my father in the hotel, and couldn't seem to find him anywhere. I stumbled upon a blinking time-bomb. I thought 'Oh crap!' and jumped out the window. While falling three stories, I ditched the bomb in the ocean, which promptly shorted out. I walked around and saw a few cartoon people in shark outfits chasing my cartoonified dad. I pulled him out of the madness and walked towards a nearby dock. I chatted with some family and friends and turned around to the hotel. A young woman in a modernistic kimono dress randomly handed me an odd sword. It was long, wide, and had a dragon design on the handle base. It looked similar to Sephiroth's blade, but a bit shorter and wider.

As I was playing with it, I noticed a commotion up some ways. I saw an odd machine that looked like a recent creepypasta I saw.

I muttered under my breath, ''They've found us.'' I turned around and got my family to the dock. I watched the machine look through different buildings, around and under everything in it's path. I started to devise a plan to keep my family safe. A moment later, I yelled, "RUN!" Everyone in the vicinity ran away from the machine as it charged after it. I stayed behind, trying to fake out the machine, as it lunged toward me, I tried to think of running back, then jumping into the water where it wouldn't reach. As I ran back, the machine grabbed me on my left leg and I landed with a *smack* on the concrete ground. It's claws began to dug into my leg. At this point, I woke up, with a tingly feeling in my leg.

      Notes:

Vividness: 7/10 (My dreams are getting easier to remember and they are getting more vivid.)
Obviously since I said, "They've found us," I was probably pursued by a group of people before my dream was easy to remember.

    5. The Archives: Earthquake

by , 09-16-2010 at 12:23 AM (Alone With my Mind)
      Non-Dream Non-Lucid Lucid False Awakening

This is my first DJ entry . I am starting out with a dream that I had a very long time ago (when I was 5). I will be labeling dreams over a year old with 'The Archive'. Also, before I was 11, I had the ability to easily control my dreams, but was unaware of my power, so I couldn't do anything that wasn't possible in the moment. Possibly because of puberty. Hope you enjoy.

Upon entering the dream, I was in my bedroom. The familiar red, blue, and yellow walls, toys strewn across the floor, video games and the TV set up against each other, several wooden drawers, it all looked real. Suddenly the room began to shake. I tried to wake up my little brother but he wouldn't. I ran out my room into the large dining room, almost hurting myself tripping over everything. I saw my mom running into the bedroom, totally ignoring me for my crying brother. The shaking got more intense, as you can see the glasses and vases falling off shelves landing with a loud crash. My dad ran outside, by the chiming grandfather clock and the noisy piano, almost playing in unison. My mom followed. I felt I couldn't do anything, and that I did not even exist. I even screamed for my parents and they didn't come. I thought, 'This better be a dream.' Soon, I felt I was going to perish because of falling boards, so I shut my eyes to cry. I opened my eyes with tears.

Vividity - 10/10 (Everything was crystal clear, as real as real life.)
