    Windswept Hillside

While drifting off to sleep images form and this raises my awareness. My whole body starts shaking. I wait for it to finish then stand up on the bed. The room looks deceptively realistic, but something doesn't feel quite right... My body feels too light. It is hard to describe. Is this the fabled gravity RC? I pinch my nose shut and try to breathe. Inconclusive. A hand RC works though - my left hand has seven fingers and two of them are tiny stumps.

I go downstairs. There is no front door, just a hole in the wall. Outside is a small village street and opposite is a large red brick building. I start to fly down the street and see a metal brazier with a fire burning within it. I decide to summon fire and focus the feeling of heat on my hands. They errupt into flames and leave sparks when moved. I throw a fireball at the red building and start chucking around small sparks - mini fireworks. I also try to draw the fire out of the brazier into my hands, but that doesn't work.

At this point I remember tasks and try to teleport to Talis (planet from a recent lucid) by spinning. The song "California here we come" pops into my head. Conincidently, I sang that song in my first proper stable lucid dream, so I always associate it with that.

The dream reforms on a windswept hillside with a row of enormous twisted trees. They look like they have long fought against strong winds - the branches reaching horizontally out in one direction, as if trying to escape, or reach for something.

A couple of people are standing nearby. They look disappointingly human to me. This is not Talis. Doesn't even look much like California. I decide to try the second of my three-step-tasks - unsummoning. Pointing my finger as a guide towards the closest tree, I start to erase it. The leaves and branch disappear. I follow the branch to the trunk and then down to the ground. The entire tree is gone.

At the bottom of the hill is a house with a door. I phase through it, expecting to find a desert, but find a toilet instead. I try to get back to the hillside but end up in a corridor instead. This leads to a small stone room and then the bottom of a square stairway. There is a small wooden cupboard, just about big enough for a child to hide inside. I hear a noise from within it, and am about to investigate but wake up instead.
