      First Stage: Avoided.
      Second Stage: Fell asleep.
      Third Stage: Killed.
      Fourth Stage: Killed.
      Fifth Stage: Killed.
      Sixth Stage: Fell asleep.
      Seventh Stage: Main dream

Length: 11 hours real time & ~10 year period 7SLD (seventh stage lucid dream) time. Climax event ~1 week period.

As I fell asleep in an ice chamber guarded by robotic beings to the sound of clashing metal, I awoke in my childhood. I was around eight years old, and I was playing outside with some unfamiliar friends. I have brief flashbacks of playing soccer in the grass field with these friends. My vision pans over to an elderly man, watching with a friendly smile and leaning on his cane, as he watches us play. He's having a conversation with a mother (I'm not sure who's) while they both laugh in amusement. The days seem to pass by in seconds as suddenly I'm in the elderly man's home. A beautiful wooden interior apartment with perfect organization and balanced feng shui. There is an owl clock on the wall of his kitchen, the time is 3:37. The elder man starts telling me a tale that I can't forget.
"A long time ago, this planet was visited by a sibling of the Human race. They appear to look just like us, but they are millions of years ahead of us in both existence and technology. They have told us how to contact them, but they are very difficult to locate due to their nomadic nature. When they visited us, they gave us 3 artifacts, which when used together, could help us locate this elusive race. These 3 devices are remotes. One of them controls time, the other space and the third one grants knowledge. For thousands of years, these remotes have been hidden from civilization, and as my time grows short, it is time to pass on the legacy."
The elderly man opened a wooden drawer and pulled out two strange looking controllers. One looked like the classic controlled popularized by media that a suicide bomber would press to detonate a bomb, and the other one looked very closely too a Wii remote. Both were solid black. He informed me that the detonator one was the remote of knowledge, and the Wii looking one was that of time. He told me that when combined, their unique ability was to control any object, and he explained to me the abilities of each of the remotes. I was taught that they each had a unique symbol given to them in their native language, but were translated simply into English.

X - Space: Grants the user the ability to move and control a defined space with ease.
Y - Time: Grants the user the ability to manipulate time.
Z - Knowledge: Grants the user with whatever knowledge asked for, in the form of a wish.

      X+Y: Allows teleportation to occur
X+Z: Allows for the creation of black holes.
Y+Z: Allows for the manipulation of any object.
      X+Y+Z: Allows ANYTHING.

Since the elder man had control of both Y and Z, he had created (with his endless time and knowledge) a robotic cat, which he taught to protect. The cat was indestructible and only obeyed those who the man wanted it to obey. The elder man gave me both remotes and the cat.

After this event, I lapsed many many years in my life and suddenly I was my actual age (17). The hype of the remotes had become insane since people feared the end of the world. A person my age (and old best friend) was able to gain and betray my trust and stole the time remote. To insure he would not steal my last remote, I wished for immunity of time control. With my endless array of knowledge, I was able to have superhuman abilities. I could fly, I could run infinitely, and I could breath underwater without any problems. I used my immunity of time change the stay on track with the time traveling thief in order to reclaim my device. I eventually found him in a lower class environment in what I thought to be Iran. We were arguing near a swimming pool when the national armies cornered us. With some hesitation, I convinced my old friend to give me back my remote so we could escape with ease. I created a vast underground water tunnel from Iran to Russia, within a few seconds. Within the next second, I was in Russia. I have no idea how the armies kept locating me, but I was being chased by helicopters. My robotic cat and I were running for what seemed to be hours when finally we ended up in an isolated cavern, where the controller(s) of space were. In order to protect the space remote, the user divided himself into two separate entities, insuring that if one was captured, the second would be able to guard the remote. Without hesitation, I tried stopping time to take his remote when he informed me that time travel had no effect on him. I quickly decided to escape. I seemed to almost jump to the city I currently reside in today. I ran into a restaurant where I saw a friend. I begged him to help me run from the police, but he refused to help since he knew I was a fugitive. I heard helicopters. As me and my cat ran through a thickly dense bush, I realized that my time controller needed to recharge. With quick thinking, I wished to be on the moon. A second later, I wished to be able to breathe in space, and the second after I wished for immortality.

My dream ended at that moment, as I remember staring at the Earth with both remotes in my hand, contemplating what I would do next.

I plan on re-entering this dream tonight and hopefully I can retrieve the last remote and locate this lost race.

    2. Lucid Tasks 6/17/12

      by , 06-19-2012 at 12:27 AM
As I climbed the glacier that I used to climb every night, I think hard about the task at hand. Once I reach the top, I am at my school. There is nobody there - which is odd - as I walk around, I hear nothing, see nothing, feel nothing. I come to the quick realization that this is because I did not want to adventure tonight, I simply wanted to complete the tasks at hand. I decide to have some fun and fly to my house (I tried flying with wings for the first time; I prefer no winged flight) in order to fall asleep and dive deeper within my subconscious. When I fall asleep in my bed, I wake up in a very old room. The room seemed like it could be in a castle somewhere, but the technology in the room seemed out of place, since there was a Brownie Camera (the first TOTY) sitting on top of a small wooden desk. Directly in front of me, was a mirror. I could see what I was wearing: A black spy suit, with a hood over my head (very splinter cell-esque) and the camera in my hand. I took a picture of myself looking into the mirror with the camera. Since this is a dream, the camera functioned like a Polaroid camera (I actually have no idea if this is how the actual Brownie Camera functions) and instantly gave me the picture. There was no dimension in the picture, it was simply flattened and very 2-D. The strangest part, however, was the fact that I was not in the picture. The mirror did not show my reflection, but simply what was behind the camera, which was a picture of a knight in a suit of armor. After I put the camera down, I knew it was time to enter my reflection. As I got closer, I could see the outline of my body slowly shake. I put my hand inside of the mirror, and I felt a cool sensation. As I went more and more inside of the mirror, the sensation grew, until I was fully emerged in a cool liquid. When I opened my eyes, I noticed that I was surrounded by water now. I could see the sunlight above, and swam towards it. Around me, there were icebergs and nothing else. I quickly teleported to safety, and awoke from my slumber.
