For some reason I was going to audition for a band. I remember riding with them in the back of a van for a while. When we got there it was a really rustic cabin with lots of strangely made guitars. They were all dark brown and not damp, but the whole dream was just dimly lit. I found one that looked like a telecaster, and started to try to play it, but it had pieces of dry wood glued all over the fretboard.

I was in a library and found a box on a bottom shelf with some weirdly faded money. I found more in a few different places and was hiding it, and trying to get away with having it. Eventually I was going down a gravel road and ended up wanting to go put it back since I felt bad.

Something about moving to North Carolina and I didn't like that weather was always the same. It was always blue skies and really pretty, never raining or any bad weather. It sucked but it kinda didn't. It was me and somebody else, and we were looking at the scenery, the trees and everything looked really nice.

Pretty normal adventure/escape kind thing, not particularly violent, just getting away. Fun dream, I don't remember much detail.

After that I had a nice long dream, but I started thinking about WL before I could get a handle on it. I just remember that it was good.

This was the end of a dream, a lot of people were being questioned. Lots of people in rooms with big windows in them. I was part of it somehow, but I wasn't doing the questioning. Some kind of interrogations, but not torture or anything nasty, just trying to find something out.

As I was going back to sleep I was having a lot of really shallow daydreams or something like them. There was kind of a narrative that was supposed to be going on in them, and I could go with the flow or kind of stop and not do what I was supposed to be doing. Most of them were in an office setting, similar to the dream I had finished above.

Walking out of a building following a kid, his mom and someone else. We were in a parking lot and there was bark dust around. His mom was asking if he needed someone to go with him and he said that that he did. We cut across through some little shrubs into another parking lot. I forgot the main point of the dream.

I woke up 4 or 5 hours in probably, right after a dream I think. Immediately I was seeing HI, and tried to relax and let that go by, but I my normal attempt to relax was too relaxing and I just fell asleep. Was encouraging though to find myself at that point. I don't remember the dreams I had, but they left a good impression.

If it wasn't a distopia, it was a pretty run down looking setting. Broken into two parts, but it's not so clear now. Was in some kind of school setting maybe. A old friend of mine was there, some type of emergency we were trying to get away from. Eventually it came out that he'd traveled from the future or something. I went into a building where a guy had me put something on my arm and said "This will break your arm, but it's okay," or something like that. I looked at my arm and part of it looked missing, then it hurt pretty bad. There was some talking about how maybe we weren't that good of friends. It was actually pretty long, but that's all I remember now.

I had a dream about some kind of A-Team type techno-thriller stuff. I was in a dry grassy field, running with a gun, looking around. This wasn't a short dream, but I only remember that brief part and the overall situation.

Another fragment about half a body on an autopsy table, a woman cut in half. There was a solemn feeling to the scene. It might have tied into the first dream.

I like the adventure dreams, but I can kind of remember not liking my dreams as much after I started watching too many CSI type crime shows with nasty stuff in them.

It was a big part of why I gave up the lucid dreaming project last year.

Cafeteria Cheating:

I was in a situation where I was being helped by my boss to either get free food that I wasn't entitled to, or more than I was supposed to be getting. He was kinda on board at the beginning, but then he said something about not really wanting to be getting caught doing it. I started feeling bad about it, and then work up.


Chemical Extraction:

In some food product or other mundane item, someone discovered that you could extract some potentially dangerous chemical could be extracted from it. This dream carried on for a while, but all I remember is seeing some guy at a table who was apparently carrying out the extraction.


Shiba Inu:
Someone had a dog that I wanted to play with. I was a bit worried that it would not like me, but it didn't get mad at me for petting it, so that was pretty cool.

It's been a long time since I made any entries, and I didn't do an immediate journal, this is just what I am remembering in the morning.

I was walking through a school. A campus, like college. I was walking through an auditorium kind of room, no bleachers, just a big room. They were playing some game. Someone called out to me, but I didn't really acknowledge them. I turned around and left after walking across the room. I knew a lady was following me to tell me something. She eventually caught up to me and talked to me about it. Then I was trying to change the back story of some characters in a pen and paper RPG in a modern setting. I wanted them to be able to know each other, so I decided that they all worked on the same military base. Then I went back to the auditorium, and saw an unnaturally tall human-looking guy. He was clearly a monster of some kind, but he was dressed a military officer. I didn't talk to that thing, but I left and pretty soon I was running to jump on a truck with some other people. Then we were being chased by a group of this almost vampire-like army. We were pretty much screwed, then I woke up.

There was a road trip of some kind, Florida or something. I think we had a trailer. But the main part was a guy who was trying to load his trailer, but he was getting mad and throwing stuff around. You could tell it would all just fall over the way he was doing it. I offered to help him, and was being careful and making thing stack properly. Then he got bored and wanted to leave. I told him that he would have to pay me if he was going to leave, so we decided to go get something to eat and take a break. We were deciding what to drink, I had bananas and 7-Up, which sounded fine in the dream for some reason.

A yard, a shipyard or something, a sci-fi setting. We were fighting different kinds of robots and maybe some aliens. It had a Start Trek vibe to it. There was a shape shifter guy was gloating about having beaten us in some way. We didn't interact with him directly, but that was a scene with him just saying that he'd won. There was something negative going wrong. I'd done something wrong somehow and was driving around.

I was walking around a mall. I when to a restaurant. I eventually wen to a guitar store. I had a guitar and pieces kept falling off it an getting lost. A DC was losing parts of it. It was really frustrating. Then I was going for a walk through the place, it had a grocery store and a hospital. I was heading toward a bathroom, walking in a straight line, behind desks or over them. I was being a little bit rude I guess doing that. I sat down in a chair. Someone sat down next to me and we were talking. Then we were driving in a truck. It was snowy, and roads were dirt and mud. It was like an abandoned neighborhood with houses that were pretty far apart. They were falling apart, not longer a place anyone would live. But this was like a half a mile from the mall. I was getting dropped off and he showed me some space gun he had. Then I was looking at this glider thing attached to the back of the truck. It had a trim adjustment on the back, that was pushed all the way to one side. I somehow knew that it was the reason that the thing had not been flying straight.

Related to a different dream I had in the past. There was a group of people. A few adults and a couple of kids. We're trying to get out of like a house, but bigger than a house. There's this weird undead army, like with rotted military uniforms. They were no more than 20 or 30 yards away. They're not attacking us, but we have to make our way out. In the last dream they were more aggressive than they are this time. We're getting ready to leave and we're trying to pack up our stuff without them doing anything. Trying to make it out without them doing anything or making it worse with them. We were deciding what to get and grabbing sleeping bags and get ready without startling them. It was like "If we just be quiet they won't follow us for a while."

It ties into a dream I had before which was pretty tense and were being driven around by them and it was a lot more tense. At one point I realized that I hadn't washed my clothes and I was going to have to pack them dirty, but I said something like “We'll just make a washing machine when we get there.” The setting of the house was modern and normal, but the place we were doing to head toward was wilderness, maybe time shifted, but I knew that I had experience from going there before, so I was annoyed, but not worried. I don't remember that previous dream in WL, but I remembered it as a separate session while in this dream. This wasn't scary, but it was very focused and on-task, especially since we had kids with us and having to keep them quiet. I felt like they did well though, like they hadn't been to this place we were heading, but they were going to do fine.

Short dream about work where I was heading to a meeting and found out the guy that supposed to lead it wasn't working there anymore, but he going to lead it anyway for some reason. I considered sending him a text, but then I woke up.

I was walking around in a neighborhood looking for something. Someone said something about a defense system, but I knew they meant a security system. It was a nice neighborhood, nice cars and lawns. I ended up in a house on couch sleeping. I remember a short snippet of a guy trying to sleep in a bookcase with the wall kinda crumbling.

Then the scene changed and I was seeing an a guy in an orange suit, a coverall like a prisoner would wear. He was just running, he wasn't a prisoner, he just had the gear on. I knew it was a dream, so I decided that I wanted be in that scene, and I was there. I kind of dropped into it like I jumped down and landed. I didn't really see much of myself. I looked up at a ledge that led to a parking lot or some other flat area. I was on asphalt only a little ways below it. I was still thinking about this being a dream. I thought about doing an RC, but I just pulled myself up. Then I felt like I was tangled up with my physical body, so I tried to get free by rolling or something. At that point I lost that scene. I had some blurry vision of trying to roll away from my body. I could hear what sounded like me moving in my bed and that woke me up. It really reminded me of my first almost WILD when I woke myself up trying to get into the scene that had formed. At least got to be in this one and do a couple of things.

I guess that was my first lucid, such as it was. It was a MILD after yet another failed WILD. I'll take it.

There was like a Chevrolet commercial. Old timey looking, like a bunch of different cars. I was driving some kind of boxy weird truck thing that wasn't like anything I'd ever seen. There was a time portal thing and you could see stuff going away from you. Before that there was trip on a weird planet and the water wasn't okay to drink. And there was some kind of controversy about what we were going to eat and trying to get water samples. Then some alien took my fork and I couldn't get anything to eat. Then it switched to a cafeteria thing and we were trying to catch a bus and we needed a map. I didn't need one because I knew the way home, but they did for some reason.

I was out in the country coming up to a house, and saw a horse about 40 yards away as I walked down a kinda grown up gravel road. I climbed up on a thing like a pole barn without the metal sheeting, just the frame it was metal. I didn't want to have trouble with the thing. I didn't really do anything, but then it seemed like it was a moose for a while. Somebody was trying to say something, like I had something wrong with my feet, like an open sore and there was some kind of larva or worm crawling in my foot and someone got rid of it for me.

Something woke me up and I tried to WILD. Saw amazing HI for a while. It worked up to the point of seeing a scene form, but then I woke up.

Some random dream happened, but I don't remember it now. Kinda overshadowed by the other thing

really happen. Pretty realistic conversation, but that's about all I remember.

Kind of the tail end of something else. Some person from a dream something. They were trying to get interested in some gear they had. Without getting sick. They kept getting interrupted or something

Kinda like a D&D thing, really meta-gaming. During the game people inside the game were arguing about one version versus another version, and how it would be different if they were playing a different version. Like it wouldn't be like this. They were arguing about this in character though and still arguing about that. It's funny now, but it was serious at the time. It was really snowy, with different types of characters. Very lifelike. There were different types of people not just humans. I think there were halflings.
