    1. Trying to Fly, Weeping Angels

      by , 08-15-2012 at 06:44 PM (redisreddish's mess of dreams is still messy)
      This one was lucid, but I didn't accomplish anything. -_-

      I think it started with me and a group of people standing in a parking lot, and Optimus Prime appeared and told us he needed people to help him fight evil. He handed each of us a mask, and when we put our masks on they turned into a full Power Ranger uniform. I was green. Optimus told us all our names (Glitter, for me ) and informed everyone that there were aliens in a nearby city. We were supposed to fly there... But I couln't get off the ground. Of course. So I grabbed hold of Optimus when he took off and rode all the way to our destination.

      We landed in a mall. There were large dinasaur-humanoid creatures rampaging around. People were screaming and running everywhere, and the other Power Rangers quickly went to work beating them up. I, however, had no idea what to do. One of the aliens spotted me and started to charge. I ran, but he was catching up. I made a feeble attempt at flying and landed flat on my face. The alien actually stopped and laughed at me, along with most of the people who had seen my fail.

      I gave up on the alien fighting and headed into the main part of the mall. People pointed at me and whispered things along the lines of, "There's that Power Ranger who can't even fly. What a loser." I just tried to find an interesting store. My friend Wesley came in after a minute or two and started following me, and I lost lucidity while trying to lose him.

      ~~~
      Just a fragment. I was in some kind of house or half-outdoor setting. The whole place was overrun with weeping angels from Dr. Who and Inferi (basically the Harry Potter version of zombies). I had a sledgehammer and was trying to destroy the angels and keep away the Inferi at the same time. That was pretty much the entire dream. At one point towards the end, though, I think I was explaining what weeping angels were to someone. There happened to be several of them surrounding us at the time.
      "You can't blink," I told her. "Every time you blink they come closer. When they're far away they look like this--" I put my hands up in the weeping pose-- "But when get up to you they look like this." I tried to imitate the hands-clawed-teeth-bared stance. As I was doing that, I noticed an angel behind me doing the thing I was trying to imitate. I pushed it away and said, "Back off, I can do it myself."
      Spoiler for Don't blink:
    2. A lot of dreams
      by , 12-03-2011 at 12:54 AM (redisreddish's mess of dreams is still messy)
      I had no access to the internet for about three weeks, but I did record quite a few dreams. However, my handwriting isn't exactly what you'd call 'legible' when I write as soon as I wake up, and some things I wrote are just notes that make no sense to me now. So, here it is, word for word from what I have written down, and I'll add anything else I remember in parenthases.
      ~Voldmort says, "Don't fall asleep or I kill Ginny."
      ~I show someone my (drum? trom...bone? I can't read it) because I can't for the life of me remember who Bob Marley is.
      ~The Confederates come back and want to use our house to rest. (I remember being disappointed that Jasper Hale wasn't there, and briefly thinking that there was an amendment that said soilders couldn't stay in our house.)
      ~I get a pug, and have a German Shepard.
      ~In church, we get an assignment to be a computer. I work with J.R.
      ~Supposed to be getting married... can't do it.
      ~In the trashy back-alley part of a city I find my Chinese friend yay.
      ~What a dashing young lad: Mama's friend in a hooded cloak.
      ~Teacher says something about taking Jasper and Emmett home. We have to butter a biscuit to leave; even though mine isn't in complete sentences I can go.
      ~Someone does ballet in the middle of the road.
      ~The bus driver says it sounds like a ninja food fight. (???)
      And then two dreams that I wrote in more detail: ~Playing a Tarzan game. Aliens come into it eventually, and that morphs it into a whole new game. When I stop playing, I'm in an unfamiliar house. Out one door, there are a bunch of dogs, so I go out to pet them. They start trying to come into the house. I shut the door and see that a waddly little bulldog got in, so I decide to take him to the pet store. Don't remember how I got there, but somewhere along the line I became lucid. The dog wanted to eat a candle so I started picking ones off a shelf and seeing if he liked them. As I held out a brown one swirled with red and green (cinnamon candy, I think it was called), my mom walked up and asked what I was doing. (just realized I changed tenses there... oh well.)
      "It's a dream, so he's eating candles," I told her.
      "What?"
      "This is a dream."
      She starts freaking out. "Wha... Thi... Are you serious!?"
      "Yeah. Calm down. Control your breathing and touch the stuff on the shelves."
      She makes an effort to stop hyperventilating and runs her hand across a shelf filled with bottles of shampoo. "It feels so real," she says in amazement, taking one bottle and holding to her ear like a phone. A loud voice starts coming from it.
      I smile. Suddenly a bell rings at the counter so I go up to see what the person wants. He's a vampire. I can't remember what he asked for, but regardless, he just yanked me over the counter and bit my neck. I only felt little pinpricks of pain, and when he let me go I just lost lucidity and followed him out of the store. () I ended up walking down and road and seeing kids play under a little bridge.
      ~In school, a zombie apocalypse is in progress. I'm roaming around with a group of random people. The hallways are spattered with blood, and every so often a few zombies will come around a corner. The people I'm with bash them with blunt objects. As we pass the doors leading to the second floor, a white and tan Siberian Husky rockets past us and skids to a stop in front of the stairs, sniffs the air, and barks loudly. A man in a trenchcoat and fedora walks up and pats the dog on the head.
      "Dog knows where it's safe," he says to us, already heading up the stairs. We follow them to a small, dark, round room that's empty apart from a few music stands and an armchair. Several minutes pass peacefully, then I realize that no zombie situation can ever be peaceful for long. Just as I'm about to suggest moving to a different area, the husky starts barking. Everyone in the room rushes to look down the stairs, where a large group of zombies is slowly making its way up to us. We all grab music stands and prepare to fight.
      I wake up, a little relieved to not have to see how that ends.
    3. long lucid
      by , 06-18-2011 at 05:47 PM (redisreddish's mess of dreams is still messy)
      Yay, lucidity!!!!
      I was sitting in my mom's van, apparently while she was getting something at the bank. The radio was on. I can't remember what song was playing, but I suddenly realized that the words were wrong. Then I felt something on my ear and noticed I had earrings in. (My ears aren't pierced.) I did a reality check, the one where you plug your nose and try to breathe through it. HOLY COW, I WAS DREAMING!
      I got out of the car just as my mom was walking up. "Hey! This is a dream!" I told her.
      "No it's not, get back in the car."
      "Yes, it is! See?" I held up my hand, hoping something would be wrong with it like people say there usually is. Sure enough, my fingers were all semi-transparent. My mom was... surprised. I kept staring at my hand. A breeze kicked up and my fingers started to blow away like they were made of sand. Then my hand, then my arm, then all the rest of me was blown away, too. What I could see looked like a sandstorm. It felt like I was rolling down a steep hill, but it was a relaxing feeling. It probably would've made me fall asleep if I hadn't been sleeping already.
      After a few seconds, everything cleared up and I was standing outside my school. I ran in and shouted, "THIS IS A DREAM!", but everybody just gave me a 'wow, you're a total freak' look and kept walking around. Well, their loss. I kept running, looking for my friends. They were in the gym.
      "You guys, guess what? This is a dream," I said when I reached them.
      "Really?" they all asked. I said yes, and they didn't question it any futher than that. We took off through the halls, ignoring the teachers when they cried, "Why are you running around!?!? Get back to class!!!" I think a girl joined us along the way, but I didn't recognize her. We jumped through a window and landed outside. I tried to remember some of the things I wanted to do, but the guys were already running off in every direction. I shouted, "Let's make a dragon!" in an attempt to get their attention. It worked.
      We all tried to imagine a good dragon. A huge green one appeared in front of us, with reddish yellow spikes down its back and a mace looking thing on the end of its tail. Then it kind of... exploded into several smaller dragons, which all flew away. So much for that idea.
      Something must have happened next, but I can't remember. Either way, all of us and a bunch more people were all still outside, but now it was like some kind of swamp. There was at least three feet of water everywhere, deeper in some places and shallower in others. Ms. Rossow (band teacher) was there, laughing and taking pictures of everyone on her phone.
      "I have an idea," she said. She must have been informed that it was a dream at some point, because she continued, "You guys should turn into some cool animals and take a picture with me." Everybody thought that was a great idea. People started morphing into different animals immediately. I saw a falcon, a giraffe, a monkey, a zebra, some big fish, and a few others. I tried to turn into a wolf... Yeah. I felt bones start to shift around and change, enough that I had to drop to all fours, but then I couldn't get any farther. I was stuck in an awkward position on the ground while people ran past, going to wherever Ms. Rossow was taking the picture. A few of my friends stayed behind and helped me up. I got myself back to normal, although there was now a wolf tattoo on my hand for some reason.
      We started to follow the other people, and the location switched. Now it was nighttime, and we were behind the school. There were RVs and trailers all over. People were happily destroying them. A few teachers rushed out and started shouting, but they couldn't stop anyone. Still lucid, I heard a snippit of someone's conversation as we walked by: "...and the faster you go, the slower your arm will break." Interesting theory.
      I woke up as we were heading back into the school.
    4. double fail
      by , 05-28-2011 at 06:05 PM (redisreddish's mess of dreams is still messy)
      So I managed to become lucid somehow a few days ago. I wanted to ride a dragon, so I tried to make Toothless from How To Train Your Dragon (love that movie so much ) appear, but I couldn't. Fail # 1. I thought maybe Wes, who was walking around nearby, could help. When he tried to make a dragon appear, he had about as much luck as me. Fail # 2. I think later on in the dream, though, after I had lost lucidity, I rode a dragon.
      Last night, I was wearing some crazy kind of robot suit. It was like I was piloting a Transformer. There were huge guns in the arms and all sorts of stuff. A bunch of other people were walking around in costumes. I climbed a tree and found a pink toy bear.
      Dream after that, me and the rest of the school band were walking around a store. I found a giant cookie and bought it.
    5. Seeing people
      by , 04-02-2011 at 01:19 AM (redisreddish's mess of dreams is still messy)
      So I finally managed to have another lucid. I was kind of there when the dream started, and then I turned around and saw J.R. (friend.) Somehow that snapped me into complete lucidity. (This is like the fourth time that's happened--J.R. either makes me lucid or confirms that I'm lucid.) I practically scream with joy and give him a hug. We start walking across a yard, towards our school. The sky is all gray and cloudy, like it's about to storm, and the wind is blowing. Before we go into the school I see Sam (another friend.)
      "Sam! This is a dream!" I tell her.
      "No it's not."
      "Yeah, it really is!"
      "Prove it."
      Well. How am I supposed to do that? Instead of having an epic fail trying to do something amazing, I just tell her to pinch her nose shut and breathe in. She does, and freaks out.
      "WHOA! IT REALLY IS A DREAM!!!" She comes into the school with me, since J.R. has mysteriously disappeared. Once inside, I wonder if I can find someone else and see if it could end up as a shared dream. I run over to a wall of lockers and knock on one.
      "Hey, is anybody in there?"
      "Me! Hahahaha!" Justin (also a friend) bursts out of the locker and goes laughing down a hallway.
      Then I had at least one false awakening, which rarely happens with me. I was asking people at school about what their dream had been about.
    6. Flying
      by , 01-22-2011 at 07:29 PM (redisreddish's mess of dreams is still messy)
      I'm just going to retype one of those four dreams that got screwed up. They were all lucids, but one was a complete fail and I couldn't do anything in the other two.
      ~I was standing out in my backyard with a few friends. It was dark out, and a person started walking towards us. I woke up. Then I fell back into the dream and knew I was dreaming. My friends were running towards a clearing a little ways away. I followed them.
      Once we were all there, I was really excited and I jumped up... But I have no idea how I did the next thing. I went high up into the air and was suddenly some amazing creature. I was tall and had pale blue skin with purple designs all over. And I had these wing-type things. My arms were really long and made the top part. Then the actual wing was sort of like a butterfly's, but it waved and billowed and flowed around me like a dress when I spun around and flew in the air.
      I was flipping around and doing all sorts of wild tricks. I was still lucid, so somewhere in the back of my mind I was astounded that I hadn't crashed to the ground yet. But it was completely effortless and I didn't even have to think. When I eventually came back down, I was myself again. I don't know what the heck happened; maybe it was my excitement exploding out in some random way.
      For the rest of that dream, my friends and I rode around in bumper-car things that shot lasers.
    7. Gah!!!
      by , 08-23-2010 at 01:36 AM (redisreddish's mess of dreams is still messy)
      I haven't been on in a month! I feel terrible! But good news... I had one lucid and one somewhat-lucid! And I completed a personal goal! Okay. I didn't write down all the dreams I had, () but I did get a few. I'm just going to copy and paste from the DJ I keep in Microsoft Word, so here's a few quick things:
      Sam: a friend.
      Animorphs: book characters.
      VBYC: a camp I go to.
      Kid's Club: a church thing I go to.
      Short Stop: a little store in my town.
      Hanna & Sophie: my little sisters.
      Village Market: another store.
      Lincoln Lake: where band camp was this year.
      Justin: another friend.
      ~~~I Should’ve Written This Stuff Down~~~ date: 8/13/10

      I’ve had so many dreams, and haven’t recorded them! Grrrrrr! *deep breath* Okay. Some dreams I can remember:

      ~At Sam’s house, I had this dream: The Animorphs were there. Apparently I was part of the team. We were running all around this place that was kind of like VBYC. Now that I think about it, it looks strangely like a camp-type place I’ve dreamed about before. Then… something that involved morphing, or not morphing because of something / someone. We were in some bathroom area, not unlike the bathhouse at VBYC. We found these glowing green tracking device thingies. Then we all morphed… or at least, everyone else morphed and I tried to. I was aiming to go tiger, but all that happened was I felt muscles get stronger and my shoulders do something, then I couldn’t get any further into the morph. Typical me. I wasn’t even the slightest bit lucid; I don’t know why it didn’t work. I’m pretty sure there was more.

      ~Also had this one at Sam’s house: I was at Kid’s Club, only it wasn’t at the church. It was some weird amalgam of a little building and our barn and a big field. (Why is it that locations can never just be themselves in my dreams? They always have to mix and merge with other places. Confusing.) There was a big statue thing with a bunch of rules on it. I walked over to the barn, where there were a few crates of things like shields and swords. Everything looked kind of battered and worn. Most of the swords were bent up. Sam was there, along with some guy. They both managed to find not-bent swords and shields and started sword fighting. Not for real, just playfully. Anyways. I couldn’t find a good sword or shield. I stood around for a while and waited for Sam and the guy to be done, but the dream either ended there or something happened that I don’t remember and that’s how I ended up…

      ~In a bedroom. It was relatively dark. There were… eight other people, I think. We were playing some insanely weird game. Here’s how it went: 1.) Two people sit on the bed. 2.) Everyone else gathers around the bed, kneeling or sitting. 3.) Little symbols start appearing randomly over the people around the bed. 4.) The people on the bed have to ‘poke’ the symbols to get rid of them before they take effect. 5.) If symbols take effect on a person three times, that person it out. Okay, here’s an explanation for that stuff. The symbols all made something happen to the person they were above if they weren’t ‘poked.’ For example, a symbol of a coughing person would make the person its above start to cough if not ‘poked.’ Then you had your more… odd symbols. One was a fan. If it wasn’t ‘poked,’ it would turn the person’s head into a fan. We played that game for a while. Nothing happened to me.

      ~Okay, from before those dreams. This was pure epic-ness. I was in some super cool world. There was another person with me, but I can’t remember who it was. I’m positive it was no one I know IRL, though. We went into some building that the Mad Hatter made hats in. Then… I WAS FLYING! FINALLY! I had some help, though. There were these things like launch pads scattered around that you could stand on, and they would launch you into the air. I went on one, and once I was up, I STAYED THERE! HOLY COW! It was so fun. Me and the other person landed at my grandma’s house. At this point, I wasn’t quite lucid, but I was aware that something was up. I think it was enough to call it a lucid, though, because I was trying to use powers and explore a bit. And—as usual—as soon as I became the tiniest bit lucid, everything got more difficult. I tried to fly up onto the roof, but I could only manage to float a little. I floated high enough to grab the edge of the roof and pull myself up. I stood up and looked around, and there was a girl standing there. She had sparkling pink and blue wings.
      “Are you a fairy?” I asked her. She said yes. I asked if I could be a fairy, and she told me that I could, but that I would have to get my wings myself.
      I think that was it.

      ~Last one. I was walking down the road that goes straight to/from Short Stop. My mom and Hanna and Sophie were with me. There were big flowerpots all down the sidewalk, but the flowers looked sort of droopy. I had a sowing needle with me for some reason, and when I poked the flowers, they would instantly perk up. I did that for a while until I accidentally dropped the needle down a grate.
      “I have to go to the bathroom,” Hanna said.
      “Of course you do,” my mom said. She took Hanna and Sophie down to Village Market so Hanna could go to the bathroom. I kept walking down the road. A biggish dog with curly black fur came up to me, and I took an apple out of one of the flowerpots (that entire ‘flower’ pot was filled with fruit, actually) and gave it to the dog. He happily ate it. Then a whole bunch of stray animals started coming up, wanting stuff to eat. Across the road, one of the buildings had a huge, gaping hole in the side. I could see biscuits and more fruit inside. I went in, grabbed some food, ran back out, and fed the animals. When I went to get more food, tons more people were flooding into the building to get some, too. As I was leaving that time, something caught me leg and I had to tug kind of hard to get free. I looked back, and this mist-looking stuff was wrapping around people and dragging them into the building.
      “Run!” some guy who hadn’t been caught yet yelled. I got to the other side of the street. The people who had been grabbed by the mist stuff were coming out. Their eyes were all glazed over in a weird, white-swirled-with-blue color. The tried to take other people back into the building. A tendril of mist wrapped around my torso and started pulling me in. I couldn’t break away.
      Then I woke up. Whew! That’s all. All that I can remember, at least.

      ~~~When Band Camp Goes Bad… Really Bad~~~ date: 8/15/10
      ~ I was at band camp, but it wasn’t at the Lincoln Lake place. I don’t know where it was. It was terrible, though. Any time we were supposed to be taking a break or having a meal, all the instructors would start fighting with each other, get really mad, and make us practice marching whether we had finished our meal/break or not. We always rode to wherever we were going on a little train thing, like the ones that are at zoos a lot. Then I’m standing with a few people in front of a guy sitting in a chair. He’s being held in the chair by the wrist and feet and head strap things, like on an electric chair. The people are using the guy to demonstrate what they’re about to do to me. One of them pulls out a hypodermic needle. I’m instantly running out of the room.
      “Hey! Stop her!” they shout. Security people start chasing me. I’m in a mostly unfamiliar building, but some of the rooms look kind of like room from my house. I keep finding ways to elude the people chasing me, like turning corners unexpectedly and hiding until they pass me and then backtracking. But then I almost run into a horse. (?) I turn around and go to run through a doorway. Two guys reach out right as I go through and grab my arms, then one of them goes off to tell whoever that I’m caught, leaving me with the second guy. We’re in my kitchen. I bite the guy’s arm that’s holding me and bolt out the door, which leads outside. The guy follows but doesn’t try to stop me. I think he was under the impression that I was retarded or something and didn’t think I would try to escape.
      “I left my stuffed animal out here,” I tell him. “In the car.”
      He nods and follows me to the van parked in the driveway. I jump in and start it up. Then I stomp on the gas and fly right into a tree. Everything fades black for a second, then I’m back in the driveway. Now it’s snowing. Also, someone else is in the car.
      “Hurry up! Come on, they’re gonna notice we’re gone!” he yells. A little confused, I hit the gas again. The van jolts forward into a big snow bank, and the ground starts splitting like a huge earthquake is happening.
      “Great, now they’re really going to know we’re trying to escape!” the person in the car with me says. “Can you please HURRY!?”
      I keep trying to drive and eventually get out of the snow bank. I get onto the road and drive as fast as I can without crashing. Other cars start coming after us. Somehow I get the pursuing cars off our tail. We get to my house and I stop the car and get out. Six or so other people also get out, though, instead of just the one other person that was there a few minutes ago.
      “Come on, everyone come inside. I’ll… make some hot chocolate or something,” I say. We all go in and my mom says something about how she heard what a hard time we had.
      ~Frag. I’m in my room, and I have a spray bottle of stuff that can shrink people, but not objects. Needless to say, I had a lot of fun spraying myself with it.
      ~~~Apple Frag~~~ date: 8/22/10

      I'm in my room with some other people. We split into teams, and I'm by myself. We all start throwing apples at each other.

      ~~~Fish~~~ same date
      This entire dream consisted of carrying fish around and putting them in different tanks. They were orange and white fish.
      ~~~Lucid~~~ same date

      I'm in a gas station with Justin. We're walking around, and suddenly he sees a bunch of Pokemon stuff. He goes ballistic. While he's taking most of that, I go to get something to drink. I look for vitamin water, but there's not any, so I get "cookie in a bottle." The instructions on it said, "Hold bottle upside-down and count to 100. Then shake violently." I just put it back and go outside. It looks like my grandma's garage. Then something happens I can't remember...
      I end up in a car with some other people. I'm worried about getting in trouble, but then I realize I'm dreaming! I happily scream this fact to the others in the car. They all clap and cheer. I jump backwards through the side of the car and close my eyes. When I open them, I'm in some grassy place and I can hear a waterfall or a river somewhere. But that fades away and then I'm just outside somwhere. I try to morph into a tiger. ...Not happening.
      "I should be doing something..." I say. I decide to go to Eluvi Island. I call for Blaze, but instead Boltron comes. He tries to say something, but some stupid jellyfish keeps floating in front of him. (???)

      Well... that's it.

      Been back from camp for a few days now, just didn't have time to type out the dreams. Well, my recall was crap for numerous reasons, but I actually had a lucid while I was there! Of that, I remember walking around in some building with murals all over the top half of the walls, and sculpture-type things of animals on the bottom halves. I think I was lucid from the beginning, and I know I tried to fly and wasn't succesful. (Big surprise. ) Then I had some horrible nightmare about someone hacking Molly into pieces with an axe. Can't remember any other dreams I had at camp, but in the last few days there's been some frags I can remember... something about a house in a forest, and Medusa.

      Um, I had this dream a couple weeks ago. It was actually a shared dream with one of my friends.
      ~~~~
      I was in a classroom. A girl from school was walking around, telling people what to do. She came up to me and told me to do something, but I refused to.
      “Um, you have to do what I say,” she said prissily, with her hand on her hip.
      “No I don’t, because this is a dream,” I told her. She gave me a look like I was completely stupid, rolled her eyes, and walked away. It took me a few seconds for what I had just said to sink in. “Whoa! Holy crap! I’m dreaming!” I pinched my arm just to make sure, then pinched my nose shut and breathed in. Positive that it was a dream, I stood up on one of the desks and told everyone that it was a dream and I was leaving.
      I tried to make a portal. I visualized one in front of me, swirling blue and black, and a faint image of it appeared. I concentrated on it as hard as I could, and it darkened and became a real portal. I was really surprised that that worked, since I can never manage to do much in my dreams.
      “Ha!” I cried, and stepped through it. I came out into a large-ish room with a wooden floor and wooden walls. There was a hot tub in an alcove type thing in the back. Another girl from school was there, and she didn’t even look phased by my sudden appearance. She just looked at me, looked at the hot tub, and said, “I’ll beat you there!”
      She was closer to it than me, so she just laughed and jumped in. I figured I’d amaze her with my dream powers (if I could get them to work), so I tried to manifest another hot tub. The same thing happened as with the portal: a faint image that darkened and became real. She just laughed again and told me that that was cool. I decided I might as well leave. I made another portal and stepped through it.
      I came out in the school cafeteria. It was a lot bigger than normal, though. I tried to think of something that I could do. I looked around for my friends. Not difficult, seeming as that’s only about six people. I found them and told them that I was going to take them through a portal to somehwere. They all agreed that it was a good idea.
      “Everyone stay here for a minute,” I said. I kind of made a portal, but the guys started stepping off to the side, and I had to get them back together. I couldn’t concentrate on them and the portal at the same time, so the portal vanished. “Way to go!” I said, annoyed. I made another one and shoved everyone through it before they could walk away. We came out in the band room. Ms. R (band teacher) was there, doing something on her computer and conducting to herself. She didn’t even notice us come in. I led everyone out into the hallway, which looked just like the hallway in our regular school, except the clocks on the walls looked much nicer. I went across the hallway and looked at a small sign that was next to a door. It had the name of a teacher on it. It was a crazy name; long, with a bunch of A’s and I’s and a K or two.
      “Ahaha, this is hilarious!” I said. “I need to try to remember this.” I didn’t, obviously. I turned back to the group, a little disappointed, because everything looked the same as normal school. But we all walked down the hallway, and stepped into a beautiful room. The floors were marble, milky white and polished, and in the center of the room there were several pillars supporting a domed roof. The bottoms and tops of the pillars had detailed carvings on them, and it reminded me of Rome. We walked down another hallway. The right wall had a part that was set back a bit, and there were statues of horses; in the middle, two facing each other and rearing up, and on either side, two smaller ones just standing. There were also those… topiaries? Yeah, I think that’s the word for those bush things that are sculpted to look like stuff. There were topiaries in spiral shapes on the edges. A stone fountain was between the two horses in the center.
      We continued down that hallway, which came out to the pool. The floor was black marble swirled with white, polished like in the first room. The room was kind of steamy. The pool was rimmed with gold. The pool had one main part, a long rectangle in the center of the room. A smaller section came off either side, and each of those branched off in both directions and met to make a larger rectangle around the main pool. There was a platform in the center of the main pool with a fountain on it; it had four dragons with water pouring out of their mouths. Small arches went over some parts of the smaller, outside rectangle. I went swimming for a while, and I think that’s where the dream ended.
      When I told my friends about this dream, one of them said he had dreamed that he was in a castle with a group of people. When he described the inside, it was almost exactly like wherever I had been was.
