Cities in the Astral

08-09-16 I kept having trouble sleeping because my brain was very active with a dream in which the plot involved aliens or sometimes Imperialists, having left an area and we, the population, were in fear that they were going to come back and enslave us. This sort of scene just kept replaying in all sorts of variations on the theme. I actually did manage to get lucid, but only in a minor way. I at some point realized I was dreaming, but was in the 3rd person. I failed to remember that we are doing the competition. I was just frustrated about the quality of my sleep due to anxiety over the aliens coming back. I calmed myself and made a voice (like God) boom saying, "everything is ok, they are never coming back. Everyone just relax and enjoy your lives. You can stop worrying." The dream then became less anxious and the DCs started discussing how nice it was they no longer had to worry. I failed to do anything else with the dream after that, but I did sleep much more restfully after that.
