Black Surgeon and the Magic Pepper Grinder

    Dream 1:

It was nighttime, and me and another man were being escorted by a black man to a nice looking home. We stepped inside to an extravagant kitchen centered around a massive pillar. The other man and the black man stepped away and went somewhere else. I decided to investigate and walk around the pillar, which was covered by a counter going around the circumference. Dinner had obviously been cooked just recently. There was a all-steel stockpot whose lid was rattling around like whatever was inside was about to over boil. There were cooking implements scattered around and a glass baking pan with some pasta and a half-eaten slice of garlic bread in it. I took a sample of the bread; It was great.

I stepped outside to a small-church-graveyard-looking thing, with a black spiked fence surrounding it. There was fog all around and a tomb (mausoleum?) off to my right. I approached the tomb and the black man, now dressed in surgeon wear, stepped outside, mumbling something about the surgery he was performing inside the tomb. The black man turned surgeon and the other man began chasing something around the house.

    Dream 2:

Me and at least ten other people were tightly packed on a tiny green hill with a coffee table in the center of us. My mom was among the crowd. Some were standing, others sitting. Someone was making a performance. I had a pepper grinder in my hand and as if it were second nature, smacked the bottom on my open palm. I raised the grinder to reveal a wooden statue now on my palm, no bigger than the diameter of the grinder and not much taller than it. I was amazed and did the same motion to get similar results, a wooden circle on the bottom and some complex wooden design raising above it. Some designs were more complex than others. By this time I was standing and had garnered the attention of everyone else in the group, including the performer. They ooh-ed and aah-ed every time I revealed another statue. My mom in particular was very impressed, and I kept thinking that this was no sleight of hand, this was actual, genuine magic.

Eventually I revealed the most complex design of them all, with thin ribbons crossing over each other, balls scattered throughout, and resin anime figures, which was weird. I was very impressed by this one, and shortly after I woke up from the dream.
