Not having eaten much as well as starting to eat healthy combined with going to bed late, I've been very tired with dreamless nights lately, I squeezed in as many alarms between waking up and work as possible.

My dream remnants this morning consisted of me hearing my phone alarm but not from my phone, getting the Idea that it came from somewhere else (maybe my roommates) I then started dreaming about how some sort of chip was placed into my body that automatically sets off alarms.

I was living with two ambient artists, we all slept on our own bed in one room together. The other two artists were entertained by my alarm clock sound. I had several false awakenings in this scenario this morning.

I also performed ballet while pole dancing for a song which unironically sounds like interesting promo material.
We also had spectrograms of our alarm clock sounds which made interesting covers.

Dream was in English.
3. Bizarre Coincidence, Vision Matches Alarm Clock

by , 05-05-2017 at 02:42 AM
Shortly before I woke up, I saw a number. 12:14. My vision was black (dreams had ended, I was in the process of waking up), and this was the last image I saw before I opened my eyes.

I looked sideways at the clock, and it was 12:14.

I still don't know if:

1) I imagined it, 'fake memories'?
2) A complete coincidence happened.
3) I've seen traces of a poorly understood mechanism in the human psyche, perhaps this 'human clock' thing that allows people to wake up a minute before their alarm clock goes off?

Edit, July 2018. I had another one. Shortly before waking, I saw a wristwatch showing the time. When I opened my eyes, the time on my laptop matched the time on the dream watch perfectly.

Failed WILD
I am annoyed by a flashing against my shut eyes. It is my alarm clock. It flashes orange then gray then orange and so forth. I drop it so it can not bother me. I get out of bed, and other people's hands are flashing silver then orange.

I am in a flowery red-bricked circle in the middle of a beautiful city. I wander around with another person as I look for a certain wizarding school. I eventually reach it. It is a stunning completely glass building.
5. Experiment: Calea zacatechichi and Remee (NLD + FA)

by , 09-28-2014 at 07:40 PM
Ritual: WTB 1am, woke 5am. Read and drank a cup of Calea zacatechichi tea. WBTB 6am, attempted WILD (counting and senses scanning), fell asleep while still on my back and had an ordinary NLD.

NLD: We were assaulting a dwarven fortress. I had stealthed in and filled the place with a smoke that was supposed to put all the dwarves to sleep. There were three other people my party waiting outside. As I was leaving I noticed that the smoke didn't seem to be working: the guards were as alert as ever. But someone started firing and soon we were embroiled in a full-out battle, which was what we had hoped to avoid because we were outnumbered. Although not the slightest bit lucid, I had a good deal of dream control and was using both levitation and invisibility to avoid being shot or captured, but my companions were not so fortunate, and I wasn't going to abandon them. In the last scene, the four of us have been captured and are being taken somewhere in the back of a van wearing straightjackets. One particularly gruff member of my team said to the others, "That's why one doesn't start to shoot until the light says he's turning on." I think he was trying to tell them that they should have waited for me to give the signal before initiating battle, and that our plan had failed because one of them had jumped the gun. After I woke up I thought it odd that he had been referring to me with the masculine pronoun, since I hadn't felt distinctly male in the dream, but perhaps that's how the others had perceived me.

After I woke it was light out, so I started with my plan to experiment with Remee in nap mode, set to go off after 20 minutes. Anticipation made it hard to fall asleep promptly, so after a while I reset it for another 20 minutes, since I wanted to make sure I was well asleep and ideally in REM before the lights started. I hadn't been carefully checking the time, so when I woke up again I was uncertain if I had missed the signal or if it had not gone off yet. No dreams I could recall. I checked the time, it was about 8:10, reset the Remee and went back to sleep, more easily this time.

FA: I woke up, looked at the clock, and saw that it was almost 9am. I remembered it had been shortly past 8 when I had last set the Remee, so I must have missed the signal again. I got out of bed, completely oblivious to the fact that I was transitioning smoothly from a false awakening into a real rising, until I began to take off the Remee and just then the red lights started flashing on the mask. After brief confusion I realized that I had just been fooled by an FA: how could I have checked the time on the clock just a moment ago when at that time I was still wearing the mask? I checked the clock again now that I was really awake and saw that it was a lot earlier than I had thought, only 8:30, so the Remee was going off right on schedule.

Note: The fact that I had woken up just before the Remee went off didn't feel coincidental, but rather a manifestation of what always happens to me with alarm clocks. Although I rarely form an accurate conscious impression of time in my dreams, for some reason I have an eerily consistent ability to wake up right before any alarm that I set actually goes off—usually within a few minutes, sometimes less than a minute in advance of the alarm. This seems to be what accidentally happened here. Not helpful in this case, though!
6. Sleeping through Alarm Clock

by , 06-24-2014 at 04:57 PM (Schmaven's Dream Journal of Randomness)
I am at a grocery store, standing in front of a guy from Germany who holds up a random vegetable and asks me to identify it. I got it right. A bell rings and he holds up a different one. More difficult, I manage to identify it before the bell rings again and he holds up another one.

This continues for a few minutes as a bell is rung from somewhere about every 10 seconds.

Then it dawns on me, that is the chime my alarm clock makes, and I should probably wake up now.
7. So Many Dream Signs

by , 03-09-2014 at 01:22 PM (Exploring My Mind)
Two dreams recalled, and going by the latest trend, first was hazy, second was clearer. I'm really hacked off about these though, because my top dream signs were EVERYWHERE.
Went to some place with my girlfriend and her mom. Sadly I don't know where it was. This one was pretty hard to recall.
Second Dream: My friend Aaron and I ended up going to an anime convention. For some reason, the convention was themed around Madoka Magica, even though I'm not a fan of the show in real life. We stayed at a foreign-looking hotel, and kept messing around with a weird alarm clock that looked like a bird.

All in all, not too much recalled. Daylight savings wasn't helping much either. Still though! Look at all these dream signs! Last night, I had that dream about the girl trying to go lucid, as if my brain were trying to tell me something. Now, I have two dreams containing my top dream signs. If I can work on increasing my awareness more, I might have better luck noticing all these signs. It would be ripe for going lucid.

8. Older dreams (Part 4)

Sunday, 24. April 2011: "04:70"

In this dream it is nighttime, and I am looking at the alarm clock in the living room. It reads "04:70". My cousin is there. I laugh about it, and so does he. At first I think I might be dreaming, but then I decide that the alarm clock is malfunctioning, and I leave it at that. Later I remember telling someone that the alarm clock is malfunctioning.

Wednesday, 27. April 2011: "Movie script"

I am in a darker room, kind of like a cinema, but it looks like I am attending a seminar. People are going to hold some speeches or something. I remember the whole situation revolving around a movie script for a horror movie. There is a man who talks a little about the script, but I don't remember the content. I remember two guys, middle-aged, chasing each other in a playful way through the room. A few moments later they become serious again. The atmosphere is tense, but not scary.

Wednesday, 27. April 2011: "Teleporter cannon"

It is daytime, but the weather is not sunny. I am standing outside in some field, with some sort of teleporter machine in front of me. There is a numerical keypad, and several LCD displays, along with other buttons. Someone is with me, but I don't remember who. I am pressing some buttons on the machine, and programming it so it is ready to teleport me to some destination. After I'm done "programming" it, I realize that this is actually some sort of big cannon for humans, and that I have to get inside so it fires me out of it. As scary as it sounds, I don't get very scared. I feel uncomfotable, but nonetheless decide to try it out, only a "small" test, not a big distance. So I get inside, and it fires me out, I don't go very much in the air. I notice that I have a parachute on me, so I pull on it, and it opens up. Now I slowly fall toward the ground.
9. Beauty herbs, diamond ring

by , 04-26-2013 at 01:49 PM
Fell asleep later than planned, had to wake up fast, no time to WBTB.

Fragment1: My old school again!

Fragment2: Backstreet boys, Nick from BSB

Fragment3: something Japanese

Fragment4: My alarm goes on, it looks like JoannaB has set the alarm on my phone, because she wanted to help me.

Dream5: I am at our old home, getting ready, walking around in a hurry. I open my mom's drawer and examine what's inside. Some fancy looking bottles full of liquid beauty herbs. I remember when we bought those, but she still hasn't drank them. (We bought them in another dream about two months ago!) Then there is a small jewelry box, I open it and there is diamond ring inside. I am thinking how my mom always buys stuff she doesn't use or need.

10. Huge tornado; DILD, good dream control

by , 03-26-2013 at 08:54 PM
During day: 5xRCs including DS review

Dream recall technique: none used, remembered 2 dreams

Total sleep time: 7+hrs

After being too lazy or tired in the last few days, I decided it's time to try to WILD again. Set the alarm clock to wake me 5hrs after going to bed, woke up, stayed awake for a few mins (I avoid waking myself too much because I really cannot fall asleep afterwards), then went back to bed, repeating a mantra. I fell asleep.

Dream1: I am in someplace which is my dream home and I am going to bed trying to WILD, blankets all around me, mobile phones, watches showing the time. Then I wake up in the dream, I am in the car with my dad who is driving me somewhere. How strange I think, I really can't remember what I did or where I have been before that. I look at a watch and it's five hours later than when I went to bed in the dream. “It’s like I have lost five hours of my life”, I am thinking to myself.

My parents are cooking dinner in an unknown building in our old neighbourhood. I want to WILD and initially lay my blankets on the roof of a building, trying to relax there. Somehow I am teleported where my parents are and they make a lot of noise so I can't fall asleep. We watch a large part of something, the size of window, fly off and crash on our neighbors’ roof. It is my fault [of course!] because I have forgotten to close the windows so the wind blew that part away. I remember in the dream that I have closed the windows and start telling this to my dad. We go to my parents’ bedroom where the neighbors are also visible and have a look at the windows.

The wind is so strong that I am afraid that everything will start flying off in different directions. I close the windows, but as soon as I do they open again. The frame looks pretty broken. My dad says he will put something on the windows so the windows can't be used again. This saddens me because I won't be able to look at the sunset anymore, so I tell him. I look in the direction of the sunset and a see a larger than usual sun, more yellowish less bright with some details visible. I remember not to stare at it too long because it's bad for the eyes.

A few blocks away I see a huge tornado just starting to form. Oh, no! It's far but it is coming, so I tell my parents we should go somewhere else. Then I start wasting time, trying to grab my blanket, looking around for other stuff. The tornado is getting closer really fast. It has a scary destructive force, I see it passing over and through a row of houses, there are sound and sight of implosions and the houses are completely destroyed. There is very little chance to make it if we stay in the building. Better try to run outside. So I do.

I find myself in another building, facing a boy. I consider this to be a bit strange but go on my way as I see the scary gray mist swirling around. There is an expensive section in this building something like a cafe for special people. Next to it is the exit. I am running from the windows where the tornado is towards the cafe /exit. I rush through the cafe shouting “Get out, now!” to the woman who works there. There are three very strange looking kids that have been left there by their ultra rich parents. I try to take them with me but they don't react, just stare there with blank faces, so I leave them at the table. One of the employees of the cafe tells me that all is safe outside, so I urge her to look around the corner to confirm. She doesn't want to do that. I do it myself. No swirling or tornado coming yet, so I walk a bit, but as I cross the street I see it is getting nearby, a fast moving mist rather than a tornado, so I launch myself forward, jump some fences and continue running...[end]

I woke up after this, since I had no WILD success again I just decided to sleep some more. I forgot any other dreams. It was time to wake up but I pressed the alarm for one more snooze. 9 mins to go. (By the way I thought I could change the snooze settings but can't figure how to do so). I am not attempting to LD, I really don't care at this point.

Dream2 Snooze DILD: I am in a car parked near my parents' current place, my alarm clocks are all around me again. My teacher is trying to reach me on the phone in the dream. I know that I will soon wake up so I don't bother picking up. I am staring at the sky. Is it a spaceship? A strange object is flying around, it looks like a flying truck, how can that be? My awareness is trying to awake. I follow the flight of this truck until it lands in the yard nearby. At that point I know that I am dreaming! An older DC man is in the truck, he reminds me of some unknown famous actor, also looks angry and menacing. He comes to me looking somewhat aggressive. I am really tired of all the chasing around, so I just intend him to be a nice guy, and to my amazement he decides to take it easy. The car where I am begins sliding down the road, but the yard end/road entrance is too narrow for it to pass. I somehow try to size the car down, it becomes very long and thin and I am amazed at this transformation. I stop the car and go to my room in my parents place.

No idea why I decided to go there. Now, in front of me is a gray cloud forming, starting to look scary. I remember the tornado fear, so this is unpleasant. I am still lucid although getting distracted by the cloud, when I remember not to give in. I try to make the cloud go away. In this case, I am stronger so it cannot do anything and just vanishes.

I somehow start unintentionally creating clouds. Those look like real clouds from far away, different hues and shades on the cloud, partly lit by the sun, etc. I also hear the sound of distant thunder coming from the mini vivid cloud in front of me, I really like that. I am having a moment of great enjoyment creating these clouds making them appear from my hands as if they were a ball of cloud, there is also some dark blue light sparkling. I do this quite a few times until I get exhausted and cannot do it anymore. I am still lucid, but am beginning to lose concentration, so I decide to get out of there and go to the street.

I am on the street. A rather unpleasant looking DC decides he will accompany me to wherever I am going. The only task from my list that I remember to do is to summon a certain DC and ask him a pre-determined question. I start calling out for the DC to appear, nothing. I try again, no result. I ask the ugly DC next to me where is the DC I am trying to summon. Of course, he doesn't know. I don't like that, but I nevertheless decide to ask him the question I had in mind. He answers something nonsensical. I try to have a conversation with him, but I find it hard to hear or understand what he says. We probably exchanged no more than a few sentence and I notice in the dream that I start forgetting what he said.
[Very strange, I guess there is place for only one two questions at a time]

I wonder how I am still here on the street for what feels like so long and the dream is still here, I am happy about that. I notice two tall guys with black scarves around their heads walking towards us. I notice how out of order this looks and smile to myself, how easy it is to spot inconsistencies while I am lucid now. I try to stop them maybe talk to them, but they insist on continuing on their way, strong momentum so making them stop is really hard. Still no alarm clock interfering, I expect it to ring any moment. I get distracted thinking and then find myself in darkness, feeling my body. My eyes are still closed and I try to DEILD but no success.

I look at my alarm clock, two minutes to the alarm? I jump out of bed trying to hold on to the dream memory, which today feels very evasive as the dreams begin to erase themselves.

Final remarks: Dream control today was really good, tried out the tips to make the chaser a nice guy, which worked in this LD. I also think that reading posts and this tutorial on dream control http://www.dreamviews.com/wiki/Dream-Control-Tutorial helped!

11. Snooze DILD, managed to defy alarm clock

by , 03-22-2013 at 06:59 PM
Before sleep: felt like listening to relaxing music when falling asleep but decided to turn it off. Big mistake, was way too awake and my mind decided it was time to torture me with worries about an incoming situation irl. I managed to convince myself I am not interested in its worries tonight, and started day dreaming more pleasant situations instead. 2 hours went by before I felt asleep…

Total sleep time: 7+hrs

Dream recall techniques: tired and lazy tonight, so none

First Regular Dream: No DJ entry. Woke up around 3 hrs after falling asleep, went to toilet and repeated two times the key word which was supposed to unravel the dream. Was really sleepy and did not turn on tablet to write down, which I should have done, because I couldn’t remember anything from this dream when waking up 4 hrs later.

Snooze dreams: I wanted to sleep, felt really tired, but I also wanted to lucid, so I switched between setting the alarm clock for 20 more minutes or just pressing the snooze button.

Snooze dream1: Me and some classmates were in a building, which later feels more like a mall. I remember in the dream that there is a place in the mall, where they sell really attractive cupcakes/brownies, etc. I am interacting with my friends and I dream some toilets as per dream tradition.

Snooze dream2: The building I am in feels like some kind of hospital in space, maybe spaceship. The atmosphere is very dynamic because it is part of the “Aliens” game that I am playing in the dream. This is very similar to previous dreams I had. [I haven’t played “aliens” for years and after so many paranoid dreams I am surely not buying the new one!] The room door in front of me will open any minute, somebody is counting down, and there are lots of aliens waiting to jump on me. Just great! I try running away from them, rushing to a room, closing the door. They are coming! I try to open the window and jump from it. It is very high and I fall, I fail to hold on to any branches of a nearby tree and keep on falling. But I guess, my attention is not programmed to hit the ground, so it happens as if I really managed to grab some branches and am hanging in the air. I feel gravity in a really strange way as I am completely disoriented as to in which direction the ground is. The aliens are probably climbing the building so they will reach me soon.

I wake up putting the alarm for some 20 mins later and think I want to WILD. I feel very sleepy but I try to keep myself awake, staring at the blackness in front of me, keeping the intention to have a lucid. I didn’t notice when I fell asleep.

Snooze dream3 - DILD: The scenario where the aliens are coming continues, but this time I am at my old place, in my room. A transparent guy, I can only see the contours of his body, walks in the room. At first I think he will chase me, but then he turns into a friend from school. I have the urge to kiss him, and well, I do. The paranoia returns and I feel the presence of aliens or whatever is after me behind the room door. There is only one way out now – the balcony. I head for the balcony, and as I cross and have the view of the balcony in front of me, I become aware that I am dreaming. I repeat that I am dreaming in my mind, to be sure that I don’t reintegrate in the dream and lose awareness. Ok, great, but there is this thing that I still feel is coming. Would it stop doing that? I kind of know that I am causing its behaviour with my thoughts, so I try to make it disappear. Does not work. I continue down the balcony, which is really long. I think that if I ignore it, it may not be there, but then I turn my back and there it is. The chaser is now an old rasta man that feels somewhat ominous to me. I mumble that I want him to go away, no effect again. I am reaching the end of the balcony, the corner of the building. I try to think of alternatives of how to deal with the situation. At that very moment the damn alarm clock starts ringing. I am extremely annoyed at this, I really don’t want to wake up now, argh! Perhaps my anger turned to determination not to wake up and I managed to hold the dream and me there as I heard the alarm clock resonating everywhere. No idea how long that was, but it eventually stopped. [I have never attempted to ignore an alarm clock before, neither have I noticed that it stops because I always wake up and turn it off]
Still on the edge of the balcony, thinking what to do, I see the old rasta advancing, and consider the option of jumping off the building. I know that I will be fine, but when I think about down, I don’t turn my head, just think, I see blackness and I am concerned that I will probably lose it, because the scene will change. “Try to think of a scene to land in”, I think but this is way too complicated. I decide to jump anyways. I am standing at the edge of the balcony and the soles of my bare feet are half way through the air. I do not feel stable enough underneath to be able to perform a jump movement and to launch myself.
The dream slips away and I wake up.

Comments: Chasers can be really annoying when you LD. I had some tasks in mind but I really can’t do anything when I feel compelled to run away. Is there any reliable and efficient way to get rid those cheeky entities that prevent you from doing other planned LD actions? Fighting them is way too distracting and making them disappear does not always work. Any tips?

12. Unwelcome Houseguests

by , 10-14-2012 at 08:37 PM
I had this short lucid dream during a very brief mid-morning nap. Lucid napping is a first for me. I didn't perform at my best in-dream and I allow the dream to end much too soon. Also, I get beat up by a little kid. But hey, lucid is lucid! Always learning.

Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

Lucid #22: Unwelcome Houseguests

I'm holding hands with my two toddler-age sons, preparing to go outside for a walk. Before we reach the front door of th house, twin boys with curly blonde hair open the door and scurry inside. They look to be about eight years old and are complete strangers to me. This feels strange, and soon I'm lucid.

I decide that I don't want these weird kids running around in my house so I start ushering them out the door. They seem to cheerfully accept getting kicked out so my thoughts turn to lucid goals. I remember that I wanted to do the Task of the Month and replace my head with a pumpkin. But what was the other one? Ah yes, get a vampire, werewolf, or zombie to bite me. Now I remember.

Just as I'm thinking this (and probably because I'm thinking this), the twin on my left suddenly lunges at me and bites me hard on the left pec, right by my armpit. He snarls like a dog, whipping his head back and forth. I'm taken completely by surprise, both by the suddenness of the attack and by how much it actually hurts. I try to shout some kind of command at him but all that comes out is this pathetic yowl.

I blank out for a fraction of a second and my perspective switches to the top of the stairs, looking down at the scene of the attack. I have no dream body and everyone (me, my kids, the twins) is now gone from the scene. My view is turned on its side, as if I were lying down. I try to move, try to RC, but with no body there's not much that I can do.

I imagine that I'm lying here because I passed out and I'm just waking up. This seems to work! I have hands and a body again and I slowly get to me feet. Just then, I hear the sound of my alarm clock and
voluntarily wake up. But when I wake up, it's only been 15 minutes since I laid down! The alarm wasn't anywhere close to going off and I fooled myself into waking up for no reason.
13. A in Organic Chem, Asian Restaurant and Scone Dog, Alyzarin MSN, Asian Huts (SDE Pt. 2 Day: 02)

by , 10-07-2012 at 05:04 PM (Linkzelda's Dream Journal)
I woke up several times, and even woke up to the alarm twice (no snooze), so I didn't really do a WBTB technically.

10.07.2012
A in Organic Chemistry Lab?!??!?! (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I'm inside of a laboratory, but it's completely different than the one I go into in waking life. The area has orange-yellow lighting, a faded khaki or light muddy colored flooring, and it was smaller as well.

The one in waking life is gray overall, obviously a bit bigger, and has white lights instead.

I remember reading a textbook, though I don't know what subject it contained, and it didn't seem to be anything related to Organic Chemistry at all....not even a single notion of reactions or anything of that sort. The place felt dark at the time when I'm glancing over pages in this textbook, though I'm pretty sure I was in the same laboratory room....I just had a weird vibe that it was true.

I felt a presence of a Lab TA, most noticeably, the one I have now for Organic Chemistry, Dr. K.

Dr. K is around the same height as me in the dream, she still has the petite structure, has her blonde hair tied up into a ponytail. She's wearing clothes that range from dark to neutral colors. There seemed to be a lot of ancient creature lineage in the textbook that I'm reading, there's all sorts of random information that is way too much for me to recall.

Maybe it could've been the lighting in the room at the time darkening a bit that's skewing my recall of this, but it seemed some information in the book involved creatures that lurk in the deep sea. Everything feels so calm in this dream, there isn't too much for me to worry about, it's weird....that's really abnormal.

Maybe this dream itself is probably just my mind attempting to make a lab simulation for what might happen to lab the next few days or so.

Anyway, after a while, I gave up reading the textbook, and I think the dream shifts where I'm at the south-west side of the room (just pretend I was north-east reading the textbook when you're looking at this screen), and I'm waiting for some set of papers to come out. It was weird, my alarm clock in waking life was there inside the lab, and it seemed there was a timer set on it.

I tried pressing a button, and as I'm waiting for whatever information on the paper that's coming out, I look up at Dr. K anxiously, and declared to her with a slight frightened chuckle,

"Almost done!!!"

I tried not to pay attention to her too much, I still am afraid of her a bit in waking life, but honestly, she's a kind soul, but just puts up the tough facade, considering she has to keep track of everyone's safety and such.

Then again...she can be condescending at times, even to me.....okay, let's not get distracted Link, she's like....in her late 20s man....

I look down on my alarm clock that's still serving as a timer for the laboratory, and it had the digits "38"' on it, so I assumed there was 38 seconds left for whatever information to get on the paper. I click on the button on my alarm clock, and the time is extended to 42 seconds.

Hmmm....that's 4 seconds apart....I wonder why just 4 second interval increases?

What?!?!?!? I start to panic, and decided it's not best to trouble with alarm clock serving to be a weird timer for something I have yet to know why I'm spending my time waiting for. I glance at my TA and back to the alarm clock, and the paper coming out for a bit.

I finally get the papers out, and I'm assuming these were results I needed to turn in the lab report and for her to sign her initials on it. I quickly run to her, gave her the papers, and then there's a dream shift where my grade is shown on a bulletin board.

Apparently, I made an "A" in the lab overall...I couldn't believe it,
I would be crying tears of joy if that happened in waking life, and I was really caught in the moment that I thought this was actual reality.

I was confused on how on the board that "50 > A" was there, a fifty is greater than an A? Whaa???

I didn't care though, I was just happy knowing I got an A, and I don't even know how I verified me getting an A, I'm just enjoying the thought of the moment of presuming I had an A....weird huh?

After enjoying my triumph for a bit, I started to calm down a bit, and started to become doubtful about the whole celebration I gave myself just now. I stood there for a bit, and then looked up to Ms. K.
(I should just call her Ms. K since she doesn't have a PhD...I think?)

I asked Ms. K if the A I received constitutes for the whole course load, and she responds (paraphrasing here),

"It's not for the whole grade, you still have to do the exam."
(I'm assuming she meant the final exam for the Organic Chemistry Lab....and now I think about it....I probably should make a study guide, because these labs are pretty much a breeze with the right help....and the days are passing by quickly too)

I felt a bit disappointed that I wasted my energy celebrating over an "A" grade that was just temporary unless I did just as well on the exam to sustain that.

After that anticlimactic turn of events, I can't recall what happened next in the dream.

Asian Restaurant and Scone Dog??? (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I don't know how to title this dream....you'll understand...I think...in a bit.

It night time in the dream, and this place seems to be very familiar because I remember being somewhere like this before in a dream, I just didn't have the awareness in this dream at the time.

I'm at the back section of the abnormally formatted restaurant, and this area doesn't seem to be one for people to eat at. I didn't even order anything at the time, at least to my recall of this dream, so I guess I was trying to get out of the restaurant the other way so I could get to the shortcut.

I had to move a large stool that was probably 7 feet tall by lifting it up, and then placing it somewhere vacant. Then I did some random maneuvering, and finally got out of the area. The whole restaurant interior was a really dark shade of maroon, and it some of the material looked like it was made out of wood. I also noticed the restaurant really was formatted to have the Ancient Temple type of vibe to it as well.

After I get out, I'm at the huge empty yard, and I noticed there's a gray wired fence to the right of me.
Yeah...this area is familiar, it's like a derived section that would lead to my apartment in waking life if the parking garage and fancy dorm section didn't exist.

I slowly walk towards the wired fence, and noticed a section of it had been snipped off that had enough room for me to go into it. But I didn't want to just go through the whole like that, I felt that something could've been to the right of me if I entered too quickly. It's because the right side of the area was blocked off by this small metal shed that I didn't want to go in the grassy area just like that.

I presumed a dog would be there, so I walked a few steps, stopped, and then said,

"Woof!" "Woof!"

No response....no dog I guess, then when I started to have more confidence that nothing would be there, I noticed a gold-ish brown tail wagging a little on the grass, along with a body attached to it.

Crap...but it seems whatever it is, it was sleeping, and it didn't have its face in my direction, probably because it wouldn't expect anything to come through this shortcut. I decided that I should go back to the area near the restaurant, and come in to the section the other way.

Eventually I do, and I noticed the dog has one eye opened, and I started to tense up, but after getting closer, I noticed that this "dog" is really just a really big bun (or Scone) shaped like a dog's face, with a cherry ball in the middle of it.

Wow....REALLY? I was worried over an inanimate object that looked like a dog? Wow...that's just...REALLY random for a SCONE to look like a dog.

Like really? REALLLLY? I swear, my mind must be full of crap....

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I'm logged on Windows Live Messenger, and I'm talking to Alyzarin. She's typing why she hates Sundays, but before I could see her reasons, I started to feel as if I'm going to wake up.

And I end up doing so, and I think I checked my alarm clock before I went back to sleep.

Asian Huts (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I'm not even sure if this was a dream, or one beginning to become one...if that makes any sense?

I'm walking in the middle of a path where there are some shacks lined up both on the left and right side. Most looked like huts, and for some reason, it felt like I was in an Asian-oriented environment. There's a random group of people that charges past me, and I'm wondering what they're in the rush for.

I think one of them tells me why, though I can't recall exactly. After they leave, instead of trying to catch up with the group of Asian people, I just stand there....

Went Through Hell (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I don't know what's happening here, all I remember is that the environment has different hues of red, orange, and yellow, and there's some weird stuff going on in this room. I could've sworn that I saw Johnny Depp is red Thriller costume, and he's squatting down with his knees together. He has some freaky hairstyle, and he turns his head to the right to look at me.

+

Even though he's far away from me, it still irks me, and I believe he has blood dripping out of his mouth while he's smiling at me sinisterly. There's a female, and even though I can't recall how she looked like, I had a feeling she was important in the dream. To me, the female was some kind of gray blur, and as I'm trying to really get into detail on what she could look like, I imagine long dark brown/black hair, kind of like Alma Wade from the F.E.A.R game series

Whoever it was, she was close to falling into a hole on a ground, and I think someone is trying to trick her into going inside of the hole. She decides to prepare to run and jump into the whole, and I think I started screaming, "NO!" as she's getting closer and closer.

I forget what happened next....

Video Game Run (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I'm watching someone, or maybe it's me mentally controlling a video game, but whatever it may be, the character in the video game is going through a lot of areas on a level pretty quickly, and without getting any kind of damage (that I can recall) from enemies.

The game itself was 2D, kind of like playing an older version of Zelda, but I can't recall the character at all, just light green grass everywhere, and there's final part in the game where these two creatures that look like they have tentacles are chasing the character. The person controlling the character seems to be able to escape them with ease, and then there's one part of the area, like, to describe how it's set up, when you go past the borders of that area, it shifts to a new area.

Anyway, once I get to the final area, and I don't know how I know this, I just do, the two monsters end up catching up to the person running away from them, but by that time, the level was completed.

False Awakening Level: >9,000 (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I wake up naturally, and I get up immediately, but I'm still just at an erect sitting position on the bed. I immediately do a nose plug reality check, and I believe I can't breathe at all.

I started to count my fingers, but the time I go to my right ring finger to get to the number 4 on my head, I quit counting the rest. I look at my alarm, it looks exactly the same as in waking life. It's black, has red digital font numbers on it, and it the time was 7:xx AM (I can't remember the exact minutes).

I look back again, and I could've sworn the time shifted to 5:xx AM, but I just take it as me not looking t the time right.

*Facepalm*

Everything is dark, and I didn't even bother to realize that it's NEVER THIS DARK if it really was 7:xx AM.

Nope, I just sit on my bed like an idiot for a few seconds, and I go back to sleep.

OKAY, I know one thing for sure, like with most false awakenings, they start with me waking up in my apartment, and in some rare cases, at a different bed, be it a hospital bed or something else, but those cases are very rare. In fact, I think it's just only one dream I remember where I woke up next to a lady. sitting down at a chair somewhere.

And then there's another dream where a blonde in a pink Victoria's Secret panties and bras was right next to me in bed, but I ignore her and probably went back to sleep. Those were from a loooong time.
