    1. Return Flight Waking Symbolism RESOURCE 03 of 12

by , Today at 11:47 AM
Afternoon of December 13, 2017. Wednesday. (This will remain predated to the year 1000 range to remain at the bottom of my journal on the dream journal website only.)

In the first part of this series, I gave some information of what actually causes Return Flight Waking Symbolism (one of the most common forms of dream symbolism) to be rendered. In the second part, I gave various examples of how unique a particular dream can be despite having the same foundation of cause and meaning.

As with other dream types, the only relevance to waking life would be in threads of literal prescience. Do the specific threads that render a dream have a reason to be rendered as they are? If so, in what way and to what percentage? To what extent of biological hierarchy? The personified preconscious is only dominant in the final dream of a sleeping period (other than when environmental noise or physical need triggers the RAS mediation). Much of the symbolism can be typified as being “outward” or “inward”. This is like the same levels of consciousness patterns when awake. (In fact, it is virtually the same mechanism in dynamics, only less connected to the conscious self in unconsciousness.)

When one is awake, they can make the decision, even in semi-consciousness, of whether to wake up fully (and physically get up) or relax, let go, and sleep. There is a point however, in liminal space (and when on the threshold of unconsciousness), where this active choice becomes indiscernible (and infeasible). This is, in fact, what the preconscious actually is in its personified form in the dream state. It should be fairly obvious and easy to understand, regardless of those who lack understanding of what a dream is, in their pretending it relates to some sort of real-life “conflict” (which may be coincidentally the case at times, but then, most people have conflict at one time or another, and even so, a dream would certainly not “solve” such an issue). It is true that the preconscious band uses such personas though, to generate enough emotion to alert the dreamer to where they enter the waking transition (out of biological necessity). In my case though, the preconscious being someone I actually know is quite rare. It is often a celebrity or a complete unknown playing the same role with the same mood and essence throughout tens of thousands of dreams, and has been as such since early childhood.

Return Flight Waking Symbolism does not always use all bands of unconsciousness in the hierarchy. Every dream is unique.

RAS (Reticular Activating System) is the biological bridge between the conscious self and the fictional ephemeral dream self. The vestibular system is the foundation for subliminal associations with flight in virtually infinite ways, which may or may not have any relevance to waking life. How is it that people who pretend to understand dreams lack the basic understanding of their own mind and anatomy? It is a wonder, is it not? Because RAS becomes personified in the majority of my final dreams of a sleeping period, it is certainly also possible for events such as physical pain to become personified, or emotions such as love. This can be determined by the dynamics of the dream, if one actually understands that which creates the dream. It is really not that difficult. I will write about all this to a better extent in another series, but for now, this series is mainly for Return Flight Waking Symbolism and the possible reasons for so many variations.

Looking at dreams such as “I, Quetzalcoatl” from June 17, 1994 tells me that dreams can synthesize virtually any patterns into one. In this dream, I see myself as the feathered serpent when looking into a mirror, though still with primarily human form. I find my appearance fascinating, though I am also growing in lucidity. I have feathers for hair and a face that is somewhat snakelike. This automatically tells me that the core RAS alert (snake) is combining with the vestibular system’s association with flight. (In fact, I suspect that this is where the “feathered serpent” concept came from in the first place in so-called primitive societies.)

Still, there are comical examples of mixing symbolism in an anthropomorphic sense. Two dreams immediately come to mind. “A Parade of Bird People” from October 2, 1976 and “Four Mimes and a Ma’am” from September 17, 2016. In both dreams, people parade around, moving their arms up and down, otherwise pretending to be birdlike. Most notably in the second dream, there was a clear association (in conscious afterthought only) that I should have realized this symbolism to trigger lucidity, but this often does not work due to the nature of liminal space (waking space) as explained above.

Is there a specific reason for the dream self to be integrated into the flight association (for example, flying under one’s own will, being on an airplane, or being birdlike) than when perceiving another dream character as such? The reason may only have to do with how far one is within the waking space or how much neural energy is attentive to the vestibular system. And of course, this also relates to how subliminally willing one is to wake and face the day.

In my own non-lucid dreams, I often take to the air as if it was the most natural act to perform. I have so many dream-based memories of the desire to fly over vacant streets at night and doing so, to “sleep” in trees, often only wearing a cloak or a bed sheet. Every now and then, I am followed by an “enemy”. This does not mean there is conflict in my waking life or that I am trying to “avoid” someone or something. Use your head. The preconscious is there to make sure I wake in a timely manner. If one does not wake, they die. If RAS fails, for whatever reason, you become zombie-like (for lack of a better word) in real life. Having been annoyed so often by the insane misinformation (or the empty-headed attempts at “interpretation” on posts where I have already fully explained my dream and its background) that unfortunately rules the subject of dreams in today’s society; I can only write what I know.

In part 2, I wrote about “The Buzzard’s Beak” from October 4, 1969. Here I will add a similar waking event, “Sacred Grouse” from April 10, 1976. In “The Buzzard’s Beak”, I sat down with my back against the bird as its beak stabbed me in the lower back, causing the waking back spasm event. In “Sacred Grouse”, I absentmindedly just somehow fell to the ground with the same sensation, but it is somewhat sustained. In this case, it is the bird’s body, not the beak that I perceive as the pressure and waking trigger. Is there ultimately any life-related difference between these two dreams? With the former, I was typically wary of buzzards in apex lucidity as well as in non-lucid dreams, though not really giving it that much thought in reality (as I had only a vague wariness of buzzards in childhood, which was apparently more than enough for RAS mediation to utilize this vague fear and augment it as the waking trigger). In “Sacred Grouse”, however, despite its vividness, I did not achieve lucidity. Still, my father raised quail in real life at the time, though not the large birds seen in my dream. In both dreams however, there was the same perception of having crushed something against my lower back. In “The Buzzard’s Beak”, I had believed I had harmed my cat in reality after waking. There was no actual lump there. In “Sacred Grouse”, I had believed I had crushed the bird upon falling on it while still in my dream. Of course, nothing was really crushed in either case. Both dreams are merely the premonitory rendering of the waking event, the lower back “jab”, that only some people experience, apparently.

    2. Superstition is for the Birds

      by , 12-07-2017 at 02:17 PM
      Morning December 7, 2017. Thursday.

With water induction, I find myself walking over a walkway made up of boards of various lengths. It is also implied to be a road (or low-set bridge) for cars (though only one passes from the opposite direction at times to where I move out of the way a short distance), over water (either the ocean or a large lake), though I remain unsure of the location. Walking with me to my immediate left is an unknown male in his late twenties. He reminds me of an otherwise younger John Leguizamo (though I seem to be much younger as well).

“Be careful, it’s a pigeon,” he tells me. A mostly black pigeon walks across the walkway, perpendicular to us, and from my left to my right. John’s spoken statement causes me to become a bit more aware, but I do not understand the relevance.

Looking at him, his face seems to remain frozen, with an annoying grin. “Is it now?” I say, but he does not respond.

I am trying to grasp the situation when I realize that it has something to do with “not letting a pigeon cross your path”, though this is otherwise distorted from the nonsensical “black cat” superstition.

Looking at him again, his face is in a different annoying expression, also somewhat like a grin.

I decide to “not let the pigeon cross my path” by turning right and following the pigeon, as it had apparently stopped and is walking slowly. Still, this will lead me off the side of the walkway if I continue. Instead, I find myself walking on my bed. There is a strange falling sensation as if my body was not fully perceived. I am concerned that I fell atop Zsuzsanna, but this is only a false awakening.

      Decoding template follows:

      • Dream type and explanation: This dream uses “return flight waking symbolism”, which is created when the physicality of the conscious self identity is ambiguously perceived prior to the RAS (reticular activating system) neural gating that regulates the sleep-wake transition. Consequently, the dream self identity subliminally anticipates falling, rising, sustained flight, or other illusory movement based on the misperception of the vestibular system’s equilibrium dynamics.
      • Dream state induction type: Water (most common, at least once per sleeping period).
      • Dream state indicators: The bed (in the false awakening).
      • Liminal space symbol: The walkway over the water and the false awakening setting.
      • Preconscious factor: John Leguizamo.
      • Liminal space cessation trigger: Contemplating illusory nonsense while in the dream state itself (yet not realizing it).
      • Flight symbol to dream exit point (symbolic waking transition): The pigeon as “returning” me to my bed, symbolized in my dream by the false awakening. (Typically, the preconscious points out this dream feature as such, which here, I become annoyed at, probably out of subliminal lucidity and not wanting to wake yet.)
      • Subliminal lucidity seems to be a partial element, evidenced by my “freezing” (and sustaining) of the preconscious and implementing my own focus of choice, even though it otherwise manifests my false awakening into the offset dream.
      • “And they try to pigeon hole in you in hollywouldnt but dont u let them!” - John Leguizamo.

    3. Five shorter dreams, including a snake in a cake

      by , 09-08-2017 at 09:46 AM
Morning of September 8, 2017. Friday.

Instead of making a separate entry for each of these five dreams of today, I will, at least for now, include only their summaries in one entry. (These are not all of today’s dreams as I sometimes remember fifteen or more, rarely ever less than five or six, not including the hundreds of short hypnagogic sequences, though those are usually of apex lucidity and too personal to post.) There were other dreams both before and after this sequence of five.

Dream one: “Sighting a Red-winged Blackbird Near a Bus Stop”. I am in an unknown area in an unknown city, though I do not consider it as unfamiliar or how I got here. A kindergarten teacher is trying to get all of her students to gather together in one area, possibly near the bus stop. (She reminds me a little of my own kindergarten teacher from my childhood.) They may have been on a field trip. The streets have mostly commercial buildings. There is an open area which is mostly like a park on the opposite side of the street from where I am. I see one bird walking about on the short grass. It is a red-winged blackbird. As it slowly moves away from my view, sometimes hopping or flying a very short distance, I notice that the spot on its wing seems different at times, either more red or more yellow, but I consider that this relates to how its wing is positioned. It faces to the right at times. I point at it and cheerfully say that it is a red-winged blackbird. The teacher acknowledges me briefly but seems more interested in gathering her students together. (This is a typical combination of return flight waking symbolism mixed in with coalescence waking symbolism, with the bus stop analogy of returning to wakeful consciousness. The preconscious - the teacher - is passive here as it is not my last dream of the sleeping period.)

Dream two: “Shaving with a Guinea Pig’s Shaving Cream”. I am with an unknown male in an unfamiliar bathroom, though I seem to be him at times. The other male is in the bathroom to shave, but he uses shaving cream which belongs to the guinea pig. The “guinea pig”, who actually seems mainly like an ordinary male human, stands off to my left and warns about a human being using it as it may be toxic to them or unsuitable at best. I shave slowly and carefully while looking in the mirror as I am seemingly now the other male. The detail is very clear and vivid. After this, with mostly smooth skin, guinea pig hair seems to grow out smoothly and cleanly from where my shaving occurred, mostly around my chin. I am not that concerned as this is apparently happening to the other male and not me even though I presently seem to be him. (This is partly related to removing most of my facial hair recently. Our guinea pigs are sometimes presently kept in the bathroom because of the cold weather, though in a fully-enclosed cage with a solid bottom.)

Dream three: “Stolen Dimensional Gateway Emerald”. I am with a few unknown males. We enter a large room that has an unusual glass structure in the center which is higher than our height but only about two-thirds the height of the room. It would be cross-shaped if viewed from above. There is a glass room in the center, with four smaller rooms of slightly lesser height coming out from each direction. Each room’s walls are transparent. Here and there are multicolored rocks of the type found near some railroad tracks. I am aware that the emerald used to control the dimensional gateway is missing. In fact, I consider that I may have taken it. There is a vague sense of amusement as another male is annoyed that he cannot use the gateway. I look over a few of the interesting railroad track rocks and mention how the gateway emerald could be replaced, not to actually be usable, but so that other people do not know the real one was taken. “They don’t have anything like that at Walmart,” says the other male angrily. (This is some sort of distorted and failed reinduction - that is, dream reinitiation attempt, my dream self coalesced with the preconscious and my subliminal will projected as from another character.)

Dream four: “Snake in a Cake”. There is some sort of party (possibly a birthday party) in a mostly featureless room that mostly only has a very large three-tiered pink cake that is about a foot higher than me. I get the impression that it may be taking place in the house on St. Cloud Street (where my older brother Earl lived for a time years ago). A lot of people are present, most unfamiliar, some relatives. After a time, a very large snake crawls across the floor. I relay what I see to the crowd, some people trying to leave, but there are too many people pushing about. I watch the snake smoothly crawl into the base of the cake and disappear. The imagery is mostly in pinks, oranges, and yellows. I relay how the snake has gone into the cake. Someone, an unknown male, says that he is not eating any of the cake. Later, the cake starts turning like a merry-go-round, which is caused by the snake’s actions. The cake eventually falls apart but there is seemingly not that much of a threat from the snake. (This probably relates to becoming dizzy in the past presumably from too much sugar, but I have not had problems with that lately, and I no longer drink cola at all. The snake was not rendered very realistically - more of the “War of the Serpents” mood and style from my childhood, so not serving as a vivid and more dominant waking prompt in itself as in other cases. Pink of a specific hue is often related to mild indigestion in sleep, based directly on taking Pepto-Bismol a number of times when I was young.)

Dream five: “Earl’s Puppies”. This is fairly vivid. I walk into a room that is mostly featureless. Earl (older half-brother on my mother’s side who died in November of 2007) is standing in the room. There is not much light. He seems healthy and appears mostly as he was in the 1980s. I am aware that he has at least three puppies (perhaps four) inside his abdomen. I hear them whimper a few times and there is movement on his skin’s surface. (His shirt is up.) I am not sure if he had (either deliberately or accidentally) swallowed them whole or is willingly to be some sort of surrogate mother. I ask him if he is concerned about being bitten internally or if it might hurt. He seems cheerful and resolute. (This is likely a result of mild indigestion mixed with hearing the dog next door whining in real life through the veil of sleep.)

There were a number of other dreams, a couple of which I may post separately at a later time or date. These dreams in order of vividness and clarity were five, two, one, three, four.

    4. Peru people and bird

      Last night

      1.

Interesting dream, again with Peru. Not sure what I have with this country, but I already had a few, mostly about artifacts, some village and some others.

So I'm walking with a female. She is showing me around. Some building with some modern, all glass additions, with a plaza between them.

Then I'm walking in some corridors. Looks like an indoor marketplace, but there are no stalls, no merchandise that I can see. Only a huge amount of people all walking somewhere. Local kids are trying to sell us things, but we shoo them away. Feeling that we are undercover or something secret is going on. Somebody comes at me with a stick, i take it from him and defend myself. I get a distinct feeling that I'm in Peru.

Now I'm on a cement tile walkway that's outdoors. A beautiful bird flies by at height of my face. I know he is rare or extinct and he has some special meaning. I'm still in Peru.

I grab a camera and start taking pictures of him, hoping I get some nice ones. As if the bird knew this, he is posing. His face is just inches from mine. Size and look of a road runner, but he has beautiful colors of deep greens, blues, reds. He is looking into my eyes, cocking his head from side to side. He has about a 3 feet long tail consisting with only one - two long feathers, but on the end of them is a few more beautifully colored feathers.

Now outside of town. Looking up at the small hill, there is a boy standing, and a small lion or cheetah cub comes up to him from behind a hill. I tell someone else to look and I grab a camera or binoculars. Then I look down and I have a same cub at my feet. This other person finds 4-5 cubs nearby. As I'm waling away, their mom comes up and she is following me, as I'm walking backwards away from there.

    5. Competition night One - Bird's eye view

      by , 01-14-2017 at 11:30 AM
      Comments blue
      Lucid purple

D1 Having sex dream , was happy and playful then white bedroom door open a chink meaning other people were up in house, so went for breakfast.

D2 - Talking to some dc who was suprised at my choice of choosing to go for a run along long walkway/ path up side of mountain.
At top was a very large white staidum, where a music concert was taking place. I could hear the music drifting as I came up to the entrance way. (
Music from an anime I listened to last night)
There were large viewing halls with giant glass windows on one side looking into the centre of the stadium.
Each one I entered was very crowded with dcs wearing white shirts and black tailcoats serving guests.
One room had no one in so I entered, seeing a large white bird sitting on the top of a piano. Evidently people were scared of the bird so had not entered. When I went in it took of leaving its legs behind on the piano.
A Very strange dc looking like Manuel from fawlty towers went and removed the legs
(He went very close with his face next to mine as dcs often do in my dreams, peering into my face)

      Song from dream:
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpYgRj-R_D0

WBTB - have drink of water and go bathroom

D3 - In a dress shop with black marble walls and floor. I am talking to the owners as the shop is closed at the moment. it is very bare with just mirrors and racks plus a changing room to one side.
I use my powers to make the room bigger but have to make the whole world bigger too to fit everything in.
The doors to the store are shaped like glass flower petals and very large half dome like things.
(I have seen shapes similar to these in a hotel dream I hadj
There are two to the front of the store which I thought was a room I could stay in but turns out to be a connecting corridor at the front of all the stores, that curves round.
I go out into this corridor which is curved glass on one side.
Entering the next room/store I recognise items from anime I have watched a soldier figurine from ergo proxy and mechanoid from outlaw star. I decide it is some kind of playroom.

I am lucid and use telekinesis to move the mechanoid from a hooped area. I find it very hard remembering that it is super heavy and could only be moved easily due to low gravity.
An very old lady wanders into room, I try to change her into someone else but fail
I immediately try mind control on her and tell her to do something she obeys. As she comes closer to me she freaks me out, with her white waxy skin and appearance.
I look around room for something else to try, seeing a folded partition wall, I try to open it with my powers but it hardly budges so I give up.
I go to fly out of the room but
false awaken and drink sludge from a glass of water ick! then wake up for real.

I realise red and white soldier from ergo proxy, was ignored completely by me in dream as it was in waking state. I was puzzled by its exact meaning in anime but did not enquirer further.
This deliberate ignoring, I feel relates to also to other things relating to red and white (which has been very big dream sign for past year or so). It is my need for integration.

      <font color="#0000ff">

ok checked it out, It relates to a lost child from the past, that would make sense

by , 12-05-2016 at 09:35 PM (Journeys through Spacetime)
I have to do several tasks. In one my comrades stop halfway through and I have to do it myself. I had float (how did I not become lucid!!!!) through a garden singing like a bird.

      BREAK

With 3 friends, we all do plays, and one all together. The 'together' was like 'Inception'.
I cannot believe I did not become lucid!

      BREAK

    7. Return to Dreaming

by , 12-04-2016 at 08:11 AM (Journeys through Spacetime)
Finally! My dreams have come back!

I am searching around a building looking for a large '27' bird. The number is bizarrely associated with it. Eventually I go outside and an earthquake occurs. Tall buildings are falling over everywhere.
I survive though. After the calamity, I am in a classroom, and I dearly want to buy a racehorse.
I can buy one, however it is not allowed. The teacher attempts to stop me and others, however she will be fired if the students do not like her. Soon I am crossing a road...

      I wake up.
    8. A liar & a lucid Armageddon dream

      by , 10-04-2016 at 03:27 AM
D1: Non-luicd: I was w/ a group of spiritual people & we are having a group session. The topic was on
people who have "seer abilities". Each person was talking about their abilities. But I kept getting vibes from the woman on my right that were distracting. I could tell she was lying for some reason. Then Meesha Cat woke me up to be fed.

D2: Lucid: This was an Armageddon setting dream. There is a girl who insists that the group should help her find her canary. I then became lucid & tried to think of the TOTM tasks but I can only remember the one about holding our head & think it's creepy so I just go w/ the flow of the dream. I see the cage & am helping her look for the bird but I'm insisting that she should leave it because it will make noise & draw attention to us. I'm trying to rationalize to her why it is so dangerous but as soon as we give up looking we hear the bird screeching. Our group anxiously is arguing about the bird & our safety. I'm telling them that their arguing is drawing attention to us & pleaded for them to stop but it's too late & our hide out is rushed by the police state officers. We manage to get in a car & the arguing escalates again. We hurried into another building which looks like the capital building. We no sooner get inside when we hear a loud explosion & we now have a hole in the room we are in. I can see professional looking people in the other room w/ suits on but they don't know we are there. They are looking out the windows & panicking. But soon the people w/ me are making noise again w/ more arguing & they start to figure out that we are there. But they no sooner are trying to alert the other people in the next room, that the building was stormed by the police state officers & are being dragged out. I then woke up. This dream was so fast paced that I was having trouble stabilizing it so I just waited to see where I could do more but it just ended too soon. Yet I did feel good about it becoming lucid regardless.
    9. Competition & a girl named Tess

      by , 09-26-2016 at 03:08 AM
D1: Non-Lucid: I'm in some odd looking place. It looks like a mash up of a backwoods bar, game room & new age things all in one. It's somewhere in the country side. The ppl there are the cast from the Netflix original Aquarius. I'm supposed to be going to some kind of bar for some reason but instead I'm in some sort of competition. Another team went first. They drive out in a jeep & launch it into the air somehow. Then they had to grab a bird out of the air. Next they shot a target & a parachute was released & they have to land in a mock house. While waiting for our turn I got woke up by my wbtb alarm.

D2: Non-Lucid: There was a computer with something displayed on the screen. It was for sale for $279 & I was buying it for Tess. Everything was foggy.

And I've never had a random name like this in my dreams. I don't know a Tess unless you count a girl from when I was a kid named Tessa but it wasn't her for sure. I think the name is significant but for the life of me I don't know why.
    10. #197: Birds / Flood / India

      by , 08-23-2016 at 03:23 AM
      Birds
I'm at my aunt's house together with my cousin. She has quite a collection of animals/pets. The only ones I can really recall are two parakeet looking birds in a white cage. One of them is yellow, the other blue/green. I take them out of their cage. The window is a little bit open, which concerns me, but since their wings have been clipped, they can't fly too far. I think there may have also been a ceiling fan which was turned on. The birds fly around a bit and eventually one of them does go out of the window and sits on the outside part of the window sill. I can't reach him, because the window is only opened at the top. Luckily the bird comes flying back in. There's also a point where the yellow bird just drops from high almost all the way to the ground. I catch it before it hits the ground. A bit later that bird starts having a nosebleed and my cousin asks me what I did. We both become worried. I tell her exactly what happened. Hmm, I guess this is what it's like for a human to be caught by a Transformer mid fall: too rough.

      Flood
I'm at my mom's house. There's a flood on the balcony. At first it's ok, but eventually it does manage to enter the house through the closed balcony door. I ask my little brother and some other guy (my dormmate?) who is present in the house to help me out. I want to start scooping the water away with buckets. My plan is not to scoop here inside, but to scoop the water away from the balcony, so that it won't go inside anymore. It takes a while to convince the others to get into action. I myself need to get dressed first, as I think I just showered. I was still wearing a towel. By the time we spring into action, the water is already gone. I notice a bit later on that one of the neighbours on the floor above us is sweeping water from his balcony. Apparently the flood affected him as well. But how? The water level was not that high...

      India
I've got an incoming call from my ex girlfriend. Unexpected. It's a whatsapp call and somehow it tags her location the same way that a statusupdate on FB would do. She's in India. The hell. For a moment I consider that India is not really the safest place for a woman to be on her own. I quickly find out that she's with her boyfriend though. Ok that's cool then. I don't remember what the conversation was about.

In my dream, where I seem to somehow be a different person or character yet still feel like myself in most ways, I am an individual who has traveled around extensively and I am also seemingly a hunter in the manner of Sam and Dean Winchester from the “Supernatural” television series. I am aware that they have been called in to face the most difficult “monster” that they had ever dealt with. This creature is supposedly impossible to kill but can be subdued for a time until it rises again. It is kept in a cage on an isolated property (I assume in America, possibly Ohio) reachable by an old back road. Sam and Dean are on the scene.

I meet with them to help them at the location where the creature is presently sleeping in a cage though supposedly about to rise and kill a number of people. They seem hesitant at first but then are totally okay with me being there and both are receptive of my authority and apparent advanced skills (though on one level I know that this is pretense and that I am “creating everything under my will” even though I am not at all lucid in any way, as this is a state of awareness that I have experienced thousands of times in dream states since earliest memory).

I tell them that I know James (although I actually mean Bobby Singer), having gained much experience from him, and they seem to understand and are happy with it.

We are preparing for the upcoming battle as we are told by the owner of the property that the monster is stirring. It is apparently some sort of anthropomorphic white stork (with fur as well as feathers) with deadly far-reaching supernatural powers. We are told to get some weapons. These “weapons” turn out to be large pillow-like hessian sandbags (obvious dream sign) filled with some sort of magical concoction to help put the beast back to sleep (another obvious situational concurrent dream sign). These “pillows” which are aligned along the fence (concurrent liminal space symbol), some slightly buried (implied to be at a deeper level of concurrent awareness within the dream state), are taken out by us. I also see a few barbells in the dirt but decide we may not need these.

We go into the house and one side of a large room is like a jail. The monster is inside but starting to move around. At first it looks like a white-furred Bigfoot but it eventually becomes somewhat of an anthropomorphic stork. This stork creature is ready to attack (even though it is in the cage).

The owner of the residence opens the cage door and we go in. Sam and Dean Winchester start hitting this creature with the “pillows” as hard as they can. Powder flies through the air but not enough to lower the visibility of the scene by that much. I join in and also whack this “stork-monster” (of human height) with my “pillow”. It seems to remain dazed and never fully stands up at any point. Sam, Dean, and I soon leave this “cage” and start talking in the other area of the room with the owner.

Soon however, the creature is active again but now appears totally human; a dark-haired female of perhaps thirty. Her hands are raised up and out in mimicry of a spider or martial arts position and she is apparently a powerful destructive witch. As I stare her down, my dream becomes more and more vivid and intense. Orange lightning (conscious mind symbol) comes from her hands and her hair stands up, but I am also able to raise my own hands in defense. Simply by holding my gaze and moving my hands out and around a bit, she eventually falls back and is defeated for another cycle.

“Awesome,” says Dean as Sam smiles and nods in my direction, both from my left (even though a “witch” like me would not be liked by them in the actual television series).

After this, we all get in a car. Dean drives though Sam sits in the back seat (on my right) in Speedo swimwear. He is singing some sort of song and using words like “Speedo”, “Guido”, and “Buido” and Dean looks back at him as if greatly annoyed.

To those who understand dreams and their nature (though there are various types), this is a surreal but typical sleeping, dreaming, and waking adventure all in metaphor. Nothing could be more obvious than that than slapping a white bird with a pillow to put it to sleep (especially when inside a cage or jail which represents restricting the energies of the preconscious state). The white bird is a moon (dream induction) sign, a typical concurrent consciousness displacement symbol, and this entire series of dream events is a metaphor for circadian rhythms and the waking transition as is often the case.

The clever references in the song seem at least partly related to trolls on the Internet, unfortunately (which is something that in all honesty is pointless to dream about as nothing can really be done about them). “Guido” is a possible play on “Guido van Helten” which in turn is a play on VonHelton, the bizarre narcissistic YouTube troll, who is possibly one of the strangest personas and crazed individuals on the Internet. “Buido” apparently has various associations. However, in Spanish, it mostly seems to be a reference to something that is corrugated, fluted, or sharp. It is associated with “puntiagudo” (“pointed”) or “con punta aguda” (“with a sharp point”), which is obviously a play on my birthplace of “Punta Gorda” (or “Fat Point” in describing the shape of the region), which is a dream reference to returning to who I really am in whole consciousness, as a sort of “rebirth”.

      On one night:

      >Reading a book;
      >A big bird (not the one from Sesame Street) that could eat other birds.

      26 May:

A prayer showed up, but I changed it.

    13. 4 May: Birds

non-dream dream semi-lucid lucid false awakening

... On a trip to Paris, taking amazing pictures of the sights. Then strange things start happening. but not sure exactly what. I reunite with a couple of friends I had separated previously and they tell me there had been some situations with animals turning violent in the city centre and to be aware of it. We encounter a few dog owners whose dogs seem having rabies, but people try to go on with their lives normally. Then we're attacked by a bird and I see a lot of other angry birds gathering in the sky. I remember Hitchcock's movie and look around for shelter. I tell my friends to follow me to the nearest shop. We ask the owners if we can shut the doors and explain why. They find strange but don't say no. Meanwhile the birds start descending on people. At that same moment we see a mob rushing over to all places where they can take cover, including this little shop, but we do a quick math and realize we'll be crushed if everybody comes inside, so we decide to shut the door, because if we try to save a few, we won't be able to close the door later on. People and birds smash against the door and after some time of struggle, they can even open a hole in the door. A lady with blood on her forehead manages to push through her torso and she is crazy violent, grabbing one of my friends and attacking her with anger. To help her, we need to hurt her back. I feel disturbed with all this mess and violence, but I don't feel bad with the decision made.

    14. #237 - Snakes in the water

      by , 04-30-2016 at 09:19 PM (The Oneironaut's Odyssey)
      Dream
I remember being on a platform with some people, a few of which I was friends with I think. I can't recall how we ended up there, but we weren't supposed to be on it. It was like it was heaven or something.. There was this huge demon guy who we were hiding from, but it was impossible to hide up there, I was just crouched down in the cloudy/misty floor with nothing to hide behind. There's also something about snakes being in the centre of the platform though I didn't see any. He discovered me and my friends (we were split up at the time I think) and picked us up. Oh shit.. He starts walking to the edge of the platform and we know he's going to throw us off. It's hard to explain this next part, but while I was being carried there was.. a pair of socks with me, which I think represented my friends? And there was a bird fluttering around, I was in third person, but I couldn't see myself. The bird was trying to save me, so it put a block of cheese on top of the sock, but its plan failed (see? That doesn't make any sense O_O). We get dropped off the edge, you can't see anything below because there's only a thick mist. We're plummeting down, the bird tries to remove the cheese from the sock and I have to get inside the sock. We splash into water, it's kind of green and murky. There's snakes swimming in the water, I climb up on the side of the platforms support structure but there's like fuck all to hold onto. I see them slithering beneath the surface, oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck. There's a huge variation in size and colour, red, green, brown, blue, some look like they'd be 20 metres long while others are <10 inches. My friends have gone somewhere, one of them is Daniel. They do something and all the water drains away. It should have been really deep water but the ground is right beneath me.. It's all mudflat, I'm super nervous about stepping onto it because there's burrow holes which can only be where all the small snakes went. Where are the big snakes? They must have follow where the water went... My friend Daniel is here now, on the mudflat, there's something about a small snake nearly biting him I think? I can see an exit not far away which we decide to head towards. I walk across the mudflat and there's this one snake that I keep trying to avoid but it never gets further away because of dream reasons.

      Dream fragment
This was pretty vivid, I remember being in my bed and everything in my room seemed normal. But then I felt my cat jump on my bed... I only felt it, I didn't turn to look since I was just lying with my head in my pillow. Now I KNOW this was a dream, because earlier in the night I had put her out of my room. At the time I was like "Oh, that'll be Peaches" (my cats name, she's ginger ). I felt her walk around my body and towards my head. I then thought "Wait, didn't I put her out? Hmm but she's clearly here... I guess she got back in somehow?". I absolutely want to kick myself for not realizing this was a dream, I was aware enough to question it but the setting was just SO mundane and consistent with reality that the thought never even crossed my mind.

    15. [04-03-2016]

      by , 03-04-2016 at 03:08 PM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
I was preparing for a school trip. Suddenly I woke up in the bus, my teacher was sitting in the front part of bus, directly in front of me. There was a weird string going from doors of bus. I grabbed it and pulled. It was really long, and placed firmly in the doors.

Suddenly I woke up again. I was lying on two seats. There were two girls sitting in row in front of me. I looked around and wondered how I changed my position. One of the girls looked at me, she had curly brown hair and green eyes. I tried to lie down some more, but others regulated backs oh their seats that they almost crushed me. The bus stopped and we had a chance to visit a mall. I tried to put on my shoes, but I already had some on. I entered one of the sections of mall. There were loads of junk food on shelves. I went straight to checkout assistant and asked if there's a toilet nearby. I took the door that was nearby and ended up in a hospital hallway. I moved to doctors office and went back to the streets.

I could see the bus from afar. I went towards it, but someone caught my arm and stopped me. It was a man with short, black hair. He had beard and moustache, and he was wearing industrial era worker clothes. He retired to so me, but I moved on. He drove a bike after me, and when he got close, he left it and charged at me. I jumped and dodged, trying to counter his attacks. I was a bit scared and all sweaty. He took a broad, gladius like dagger and tried to slash me. I felt adrenaline rush, but my mind was still calm. I thought "He should throw that knife at me, and I should catch it.". He did as I thought - thrown his weapon. I caught it and stabbed him in the heart. Then I moved back to bus.

I got teleported away and had to play a game in which I chose spot and DC bird flies towards it. My goal was to kill a snake that hypnotized whole city and was ruling it. I failed and the game changed into nor sure scrolling adventure than a strategy. It was really similar to Captain Claw game.
