    1. 17-10-16 Floating on Ball, Controlled Hallucination of Compass

      by , 10-16-2017 at 05:23 PM
I dreamt I was going through a city, floating on top of some kind of ball (like one of those large balls you use for working out. I just lay on top of the ball, which hovered despite being filled with air. I even thought it would work better if it was helium. Anyway... I practiced maneuvering and turning, and thought it was good practice for my flying dreams, where I often have trouble turning... Ironic! After a while I arrived at my destination (a train station?). I got off the ball, and noticed the "event" was just starting. There was a countdown which ended just as a walked in, and I thought to myself "right on time".

I was awake, but decided to close my eyes a bit more as I was still really tired. In the darkness behind my eyelids, I saw a line. I focused on it, and more lines appeared, and formed a shape. It looked like a watch, or no - a compass. Four lines, arrows - one in every direction. Detail increased, and now I saw it was beautifully adorned with all manner of embellishments. Then I saw what looked like text... but it was outside of the compass. I now saw the compass was a drawing written on the right page of an old book. I could read the text - it was in Dutch, but I can't remember what it said. I was distracted by something in real life, and briefly opened my eyes. I lost the vision right there and then, and was unable to continue when I closed my eyes again.

OK, so it starts off at an airport. Maybe 50 planes, and 150 people. Well, it turns out there's THE STORM on it's way. The biggest storm ever, the end of the world. We decide to get in the planes and try to outrun it by my suggestion. I was appointed leader and was lead plane. We fly for an hour or so and then the storm catches up to us, I call for emergency but nobody responds. We go down.

I remember laying on the ground, and lightning hit the ground not 15 feet away from me, and I jumped to my feet.

Well, now there's 150 people, young and old, on the ground hurt with me to look up to. Thinking fast, I talk to everyone and get the doctors and dentists and nurses and whatnot to go around helping people. Two days later, we decide to start heading west. (By the sun)

So, we walk. It takes AGES, but we manage it to a city. Water and food wasn't really an issue that came up. Anyways, at the city, we find this kid with a cigarette, he has it split down the middle and was like snorting the tobacco or some weird stuff. Anyways, he has a compass. I take it and figure out my headings. All that time we had been going NNW. It was heartbreaking. We had made hardly any progress. I was so upset about how I let them down that I had a spasm, I threw the compass away and I'm siting up in my bed in awe.

I felt like I had accomplished SOMETHING simply because I saved 150 lives. Without me, they might have stayed there and died. But I took the reigns, and led them to safety. It was tough, I never got to my destination, but it beats waiting for certain death by a long shot.

      1. I find myself in a concrete basement, with really interesting art on the walls. Some are paintings, and some are stencils. I am particularly interested in the stenciling. Someone I know is in the room, and they tell me that the artist is active in street art and wants me to do pieces with him. I start a strange painting that keeps changing on me. The artist comes out from the back somewhere and helps me decide what to do with my painting. We discuss stenciling. He has a large beard and a grey sweatshirt.

      2. I walk into a strange church that is full of medical examination tables. I sit on one that isn't covered with that paper sheet.

      3. I am going on a fishing trip with some friends. I am trying to convince them that it would be a good idea to bring a compass with us, just in case, but they fail to see the merit of it. I am very insistent because I know how easy it can be to get lost out on the ocean. I drive to a store to get one. We go on the trip, and I can see the boat as though I am not in it. Then I am back in the boat, and the current is so strong that we are having difficulty steering.
