Last night, I had a really amazing, vivid, symbolic dream. First I fell asleep while thinking about my boyfriend and his job. Once I realized the thought had transferred over into a dream, I jolted, "This is a dream now," and woke up, unfortunately.

My most vivid dreams tend to occur at the very end of my sleep cycle, right when I'm about to wake up in the morning.
My body has learned to turn off my cell phone alarm clock before I'm awake enought to consciously register it. I vaguely remember my hands on the phone, turning off the alarm. Then I drop back out and return to finish the dream. It's a real problem, because I was late to work this morning. And I need to go to sleep earlier.

Anyways, my late cycle dream last night/this morning was really memorable. It was about planetary alignment, something I've read or heard about happening in 2012, and the rise of popular collective consciousness, and higher awareness.
It was set in a location in an open area, among a complex of glass houses and colored glass domes with special colored glass statues posted around in a ring. I would transfer from one to the other throughout the dream.
There was either a beach or body of water just beyond the glass house where the viewing spectacle began.
It was a deep, dark night, and the sky was a vast empty void, blacker than any human color imaginable, an inky expanse above my head, and I looked up at it. The stars were brilliant and bright, dotted innumberably throughout the black ceiling, much more than seen in the milky way, and bigger than normal, as if they were closer to our heads.
The planets were due to align that night, and we were all waiting to watch it happen. My stepdad was there, perhaps my entire family; but I don't recall any conversations.
Suddenly they appeared in the sky, off in the distance, over the water, shining and bright, big enough to see the planets themselves with the naked eye. They were smaller at first, but grew from star-sized to real planet size, all in a line together, and earth was somehow in the middle. Sparkling, bright, beautiful in the sky, surrounding with energy amongst the dark black. They shined and pulsated, emanating energy, light, and sparks like fireworks or a sparkler.
Suddenly I saw them in space, floating view along with them, from above, in front, and at an angle. Floating in the black expanse, sparking and pulling together, creating energy and love.
Then I saw them again from Earth, looking up at them in the sky. Turning, spinning, sparking, lighting, growing.
The sky was alive with the biggest stars, streaks of light, sparks and comets, and the line of planets.
I was in the colored glass dome. Then back in the glass house.
One by one, the planets came down to visit us, zoomed down from the sky to twist and rotate right infront of the glass window. At this perception, the planet was the size of a large boulder, but not its real planet-size enormity.
One was Earth itself, I think, or one like it, with blue oceans and green land, clouds and valleys and rivers. We pressed against the glass to look in awe, as it rotated, then turned and zoomed off back into the sky by in its line.
One by one they came down: blue Neptune, Saturn with its rings, a red, potted, scarred Mars, orange Mercury, Uranus, Jupiter, and even tiny, grey Pluto. Some planets were gaseous, not constricted to a size or shape, morphing and free to roam its space. Blue twirls and beautiful hues. Each one came down to give us a good look, then rejoined in its line in the sky.
They continued to spark light and energy, and I became aware of the higher collective consicousness, we were all reaching it there together, rising above our constricted human form of awakeness. It was enlightening, freeing, liberating, lifting, light, energetic, and joyous.
As they settled back into the sky line, they blew up in an explosions of light, energy, sparks, and excitement. It was beautiful, mesmerizing, and terrifying. Like giant fireworks in the sky, comets blazing about, and stars shining ever more brilliant and brightly, it ended.
      And that was it.

I have read about 2012 and the planetary alignment, and some people think it's going to cause a higher state of consciousness accross the globe. I'm not sure what I think of that, but I think this dream had a lot of meaning for me.
I'm practicing meditation and focusing my mind on my own sense of self and reality, and figuring out what is consciousness and what is reality for me; so I'm not surprised this dream came now.

    2. Kameyameyah Fragments

      DILD/WILD

I had a series of short LDs with little control (probably 6). I forgot a bunch of them.

It first began on a sand dune with Jack (I think). We were sitting on an incline, and it was about to get steeper. He said he tried to go over the cornus and he just fell because it was 27 degrees. I half-heartedly attached a rope and went over anyway. It is really fun sliding down. I become lucid on the way down. I stand up and somehow get to the top of a dune again. I look across these rolling hills into the distance. It is a beautiful view. I want to try and shoot an energy blast across to another hill. I get in position, Kame...Yame...YAH. Right before I release I see a small glowing ball in my hand. I shoot it and not much happens. It does slightly rustle the hill I was aiming at, but I couldn't see the ball shoot out or anything.

I am in another dream and still trying to work on this skill. I remember to take a lucid pill. So I sit down and open up a pill from my pocket. It was mostly powder, but there were some big chunks too. I stand up and get onto the roof of my garage. I try some more energy blasts and fail.

I FA on the ground outside my garage. I immediately try to WILD. I have some split personality. My other me gets to take over once I am in an LD (reading fight club IRL). I am trying to WILD, and he is too jumpy. He keeps trying to rush the process. I roll out of my body and he takes over. However, because it was rushed it isn't very stabilized. After like 45 seconds he loses it, and I am back outside the garage. I try and WILD again, this time taking longer. I am having some dialogue with the other me. My limbs start floating, and I roll out of my body. He takes over and has a longer LD with more failed energy blasts.

This may be a different dream. But I have a fragment of me on an airplane trying the energy blasts. Instead of visualizing the blast, I visualize a nuclear chain reaction going on in my hand. I start, Kame, and picture a neutron shattering other nuclei. Yame, the chain reaction is exloding. Yah!, I imagine, all of the particles focused in one direction, like a laser. However, I still have trouble getting a strong blast. I try again and it doesn't work well.
    3. Golden Form Struggling to Emerge

      by , 04-13-2012 at 06:36 PM
Meditation to Prime my Mind in order to Lucid Dream....

I used Between Worlds hemi-sync CD.
I sit in the same chair with my feet on the floor. I like to be touching the 'earth' or ground as I meditate.
Hands, palms up, thumbs touching middle finger in order to keep my body connected.

I begin as usual by focusing on the blackness behind my eyes [side note: Recently read CosmicIron's SILD method and it is very similar to the way I meditate.]. I watch the flashing colors as I go into a light trance. I also focus on the music. As I go into a light trance, I lose sense of my body as it becomes very heavy - just like you do before you fall asleep. If I go too far under, my body snaps awake. So, I have to try and hold this in between state of consciousness - not too far that I fall asleep but not too awake that I can't focus.

Today, I got into a light trance surprisingly fast. I didn't expect to go under until a certain point in the music.

The most memorable part - two parts actually - were when my centers just started pulsing. For some reason, I was elated. I thought I'd shut them down. I haven't done this in so long - I thought I'd completely cut myself off. So, to feel them pulse again, it's ... I'm thankful. As my centers pulsed I got this burst from my heart center and then this all over rush. It was like ... :hmm: when you get excited or surprised and you get an adrenalin rush, maybe? It was not orgasmic. It didn't start at my root/base chakra. It came from my heart center and enveloped me. I know for so many this just sounds like rubbish...because I was there once too.

The other memorable part was as this buzzing/adrenalin rush continued to buzz all over my body I felt both my forehead/brow chakra and the crown chakra all beat/pulse. It was not harsh but this consistent beating that just kept an overall buzz in my body - almost like when your limb falls asleep but then finally wakes up and you get this tingling? That's the sensation that occurred throughout my body. As this happened, I imagined/saw my golden form shooting from my crown and upwards, hands together like in prayer, towards the sky. She fought to get out but got stuck at her waist. She struggled but was not released.

What does that mean? How the heck do I know. It may mean nothing. I may mean that I am not fully opened and so she can only be freed when I am able to sustain this energy - which I can and could not. Or it may mean my tummy was really hungry and I needed some food!!

      Fun House (Non-Lucid)
      ★★★★☆
      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Both of us peek inside the wooden crate sitting on my deck. Inside sits an assortment of bottle, each a different blend of some sort of coffee mixture intended for consumption before the special event I’d set up for the two of us later that night. MTM grabs the most potent bottle of the lot and downs it before I can protest. I sip something much more mild, but the effects of the drink are immediately apparent.

I frown, knowing that MTM has probably already been compromised, but preparations continue, as the two of us glide down to a field behind my house. Words were exchanged with the man in charge of tonight’s festivities, a suave twenty-something with short, blond hair and a red jacket over a black undershirt. After a few winks and candidly coded responses between him and MTM, I confirm my suspicions: she works for them now.

Looks like I’ll be doing things alone.

The day passes, night falls, and the real fun begins. After a mostly uneventful day filled with brief bits of uninspired HvZ and other campus shenanigans, I find myself riding a motor-powered skateboard, racing to the big event. Not satisfied with the speed, I kick things up a notch and transform the motor-power into rocket-power and the wheels into anti-gravity pads.

Tearing through the streets, blanketed in the glow of yellow-orange street lamps and rushing neon lights, I make my way to the first check-point and blaze past the rag-tag line of people assembled in front of the entryway, up the concrete stairs, and over the dingy, dark-red carpet. Finally, in the first chamber, I dismount in a flash of sparks and approach the table where the first challenge awaits.

Several guys in dark blazers stand there, hunched over the table in the center of this poorly lit room, watching me approach. Only one person sits, flourishing a deck of cards, grinning as a I approach. Without hesitation, he deals out the cards in front of him, forming rows and columns as the Chinese symbols on the face of the cards, begin to glow a shimmering blue and purple gradient and rise from the cards in a ghastly fashion.

The first to rip itself from the card floats towards me and attaches to my forehead, causing the world around me to shift and distort. I know the game immediately. If I didn’t do something about these symbols, they’d attach to me and mutate my perception, driving me to insanity. Grabbing the board I’d rode in on, I manage to get the exhaust to create a shower of sparks. Quickly, I douse the symbols with those fiery sparks, extinguishing their power and clearing the game.

As I walk toward the stairs, leading up to the next chamber, I notice two other tables and games set-up in front of the stairs. The world sways around me, and I realize: these are just illusions created by the symbol; I can move on.

Ascending the stairs, I’m met with another challenge. This time in a more home-like setting, a woman, who looks like a grade-school teacher smiles briefly at me before finishing up the colorful board she’d been working on. It’s one of those peg boards frequently used in classrooms, decorated with a bright, wavy yellow border and big blue letters on a cerulean background. The letters spell the command: “Ask Margie about H2O.”

In the corner of the room, to my left, rises a giant girl. She can’t be older than eight years old, but she towered over me, bloated and disproportional, with an expressionless look upon her drooling face. One look is all I need to determine the only winning move is not to play. I continue upwards as a fellow challenger comes up the stairs from the first chamber. I hear her ask ‘Margie’ about water. Then come the screams...then silence...

Upstairs now, I make my way to the porch, where I meet the man in charge for the second time today and MTM standing beside him. He expresses surprise that I arrived so early. Not in the mood for bantering, I let him know that he needs to fix whatever was wrong with MTM or he’d regret it. Smugly, he reassures me that I simply need to complete one more task, but I sense betrayal and deceit in his words. Delving deeper, I discover his identity as a vampire and the entirety of his plan. Oblivious to the fact that I know everything, he takes me and MTM into a room with another giant, disproportionate child, this time a toddler.

The door locks behind us and the man stands behind the monstrosity. My final task is simple, he tells me: “Defeat this child.”

Scornfully, I remark, “Don’t insult me. The two of you are so far beneath me I could blow you both away with a single blast.”

“Then do it,” he laughs harshly.

But I’ve already charged up a blast, or at least, tried to. When I release the stream of energy, forming a Kamehameha pose, the blast is imperceptible and simply passes through the head and body of the giant infant. Improvising, I modify the stream’s frequency as it passes through the thing’s brain, mutating it further, restoring its free will and rational thought.

When I’m finished, the giant baby and I have a short, intelligent, discourse, much to the dismay of the suave twenty-something. We bargain out a deal, wherein I let the giant live and he grants me the win. He even offers, very casually, to kill the guy standing behind him, but I insist that honor falls to me...

      DILD + DEILD

The dream started during a gym class at my old church gymnasium. We were playing basketball and there were a bunch of games going on concurrently. My team is doing well. I am contributing more than my real life white-ass self would. We are up by 4 and the ball gets thrown out of bounds to some people who are watching another game. Mattie catches it and gives it right back to the other team for a break away. I thought that was bogus, but I had confidence that we would win. There are a few seconds left and we call a time out. I practice lay ups off the backboard during the TO. None of them go in. The play starts back up and I am in the middle. They have some weird zone where there are 2 people vertically in the paint and 3 spread around the outside. I am the only one in the middle so the two people switch off on me. I duck out to the corner so the outside guy has to cover me. I dip right back in and they don't switch back. I get the ball with a lay up chance. Because I missed like 5 during the TO, I pull up for a 3 ft. jumper. It goes in and we are now up 4 and the game is clinched.

As the game ends, everyone is gathering by the door. I am shaking hands with some people we played with. Iman (guy from my high school class who now plays on the knicks) is there and doing some trick dunks. He runs up to the hoop and jumps completely on top of it! He stands on the rim for a second and comes back down. He does this like 4 more times. I try to text Will to tell him what is going on, but I am struggling with my phone. Will then happens to show up and we head downstairs together. There is a table of cookies for some other people and I snatch a white chocolate one. It is big, fairly soft, and delicious. Will heads back to grab another and I head outside alone.

I become lucid and look around. To the left there are two towers, and one is a giant yellow water slide. That seems like fun. I fly over to it and land on the ground. There is no water running. I fly to the top and go down anyway. It is really dusty and has like a 20 ft. drop onto the ground. It was still pretty cool. I turn back the way I came and start flying. I have good horizontal momentum so I fly really low to the ground. I am a few feet above the ground and cruising. Eventually I land in the grass on my stomach and it all goes black.

I focus on the tactile sensation of the grass on my face and I stay in the dream. I regain vision and take off again. To get speed, it feels like I am drawing the world under me more than actually accelerating. I still have trouble turning so I land and walk around a corner. There is a giant field with some frosty mountains in the distance. I want to go to a city. Looking for a way to teleport, I see a small crate door next to me. I go inside and try to imagine hearing city noises outside. I end up in the same place. Things go dark again and I wake up.

      DEILD

I am back in the field, and I decide I want to go to the frozen tundra ahead. I try teleporting again by spinning. At first I spin like 5 times and try to blur my vision while imagine seeing white. This didn't work. I also tried one quick spin and that failed. Finally, I just take off and fly over there.

I land in an area with a bunch of boulders randomly laying around. There is another LDer, and he is helping this one bird escape another predatory bird. The predator looks like an osprey. I join in and try to help. Eventually I grab the smaller bird and run inside this stable-like building. The bird at some point becomes one of those flat, native american drums in my hand. It has dangling beads like those toys you spin in your hands to beat a small drum. The building is full of small, enclosed areas that have sliding wooden doors. I run into one and quickly run back out, closing the door behind me. This confuses the osprey for a moment and gives me some time.

I get on top of the small enclosures and keep running. The other LDer tells me to fly out of here. I respond, "I can't fly inside!" I hop across each enclosure and make it back to the front door. I look to the sky and take off. Now the bird/drum has become a diet coke can . The other LDer tells me I need to let him release his ice power (or something like that). As his says this, I feel an energy come from the can. It is now pulling me in the air and I get tremendous speed before instantly stopping. I hover and turn around, aiming the can back at the building. A giant energy blast goes off and eliminates any danger.

    6. Transforming at Camp

      by , 02-28-2012 at 06:43 PM
      2/27/12

      DILD

The dream started at my old boy scout camp (looked nothing like it). There was a large canyon that divided our campsite from the rest of the camp. I am on the far side and there are a series of tunnels that appear to be made out of card board. I am heading back to the campsite when I see a squirrel. Just to be cute I pick up a peanut and offer it to him. He runs up and then wants more. The ground is covered in peanuts so I keep feeding him as we head back. I show a younger group of scouts the squirrel.

As we head back over the canyon, we have to pull the bridge out behind us. There are a few people bringing up the rear. One has the large heavy suit that reminded me of the juggernauts in CoD. The guy next to me starts to pull the bridge before they are on. Being in a giant suit, the one guy isn't agile enough to make the small gap. He grabs onto the bridge and is hanging off. I run to help. I, for some reason, am holding some giant LED sign. I reach it toward him, and it turns out to be a very strong magnet. I help him get up and mention something about the magnet as we walk back. I am joined by some famous person who happens to be at the camp. I remember thinking ben would love to hear that this guy is here.

There is some gap but we start to play a shooting game. We are getting set up and I have a sniper. As I get ready, the other team starts to sneak up from across a small valley. I have 3 perfect snipes on this one girl, but it doesn't do anything. I am kind of pissed. They start to come over to our side of the valley. I pick up a gun from the ground that is a sniper that shoots explosive arrows. I shoot a few at another girl's feet. One sticks her. None of them do any damage. I start walking around and people are shooting me with tiny pistols. I am talking about how none of these guns do any damage. I somehow pull up a screen where I can see my health. After letting some black guy shoot me for like 15 seconds straight at point blank, I still had 550 health out of 1500. I start walking away, but people keep chasing me.

I am running along and eventually become lucid. I try to get away from these 3 guys chasing me. I can't fly because there is tree over my head. I quickly start climbing branches and reach the top in seconds. I try to fly but I can't get a good lift off because the tree branch bends down as I try to jump. I decide to use this to my advantage and start hanging from the edge of the largest branch. I pull it down to the ground and use it to catapult myself into the air. I reach the ground and launch up. However, I mistimed my arm pull and didn't launch far. I land back on the branch and go for it again. I time it right and get flung hundreds of feet.

I land somewhere in the camp again. The game is still going on. I think it would be cool to morph into a transformer. Right when I think that, my point of view shifts and I am like 10 ft. tall. I walk forward and my movement is very stiff and robot-like. I can feel weird hinges bending. I reach forward and can shoot energy balls out of my hands. After shooting a few people, I thrust into the air and fly towards to stars. I lose the dream. (I never thought to look down at myself as a transformer or try to transform into something else, which would have been sweet)

    7. To the Pool!

      1/24/12

      DILD

Notes: I didn't smoke at all two days before this and had crazy REM rebound. I remembered 6 dreams, none were lucid. I smoked the next day and then stopped again this night. I had a long LD and I was able to maintain it through points where I would normally lose the dream. It was very vivid. However, I didn't write it down for a few days so I may be missing some details.

I walk into an apartment and am greeted by some girls. I look over and Gracie is there. She is excited to see me and we hug. We start moving back and forth like a slow-dance hug. I say, "Oh so we are doing one of these hugs."

We all sit down at a table and I become semi-lucid. I know it is a dream and I lose my body. I am just a 3rd person view of everyone else, but I'm still talking. I don't fully realize it is a dream, however, I tell them it is. One of the girls tests it by picking up a metal spoon. I expect her to try and bend it with her mind, but she just takes a big bite out of it. I think its pretty funny, and it gets the job done I guess.

We somehow transition to being in a pool. It is an indoor pool and we are standing in the shallow end. These big waves start to come over us.
I become fully lucid and try to stop the waves. My first attempt without thinking is to yell, "STOP!" But that doesn't work. I try to use a force power to stop the waves, but that fails too. I realize that I can go underwater and swim past the waves. I go under and can still breathe. However, I can't get any momentum forward. I tried to have some sort of motor-type propulsion from my feet. That doesn't work, and when I try to swim normally, the current keeps me back.

I eventually stand back up and the waves are gone. I am somehow on the other side of the pool. I decide to work on my energy blasts. I try to kameyameyah a clock on the wall. I first just yell the words and blast, but that fails. I am standing next to one of the girls and I feel embarrassed that I yelled that without actually doing anything. I try again, but out of the corner of my eye wait for the energy to build. After a few seconds a small white energy ball is in my hands. I blast it forward and it hits the clock like a weak ball of water. It leaves a small damp mark, but thats it. I do this a few more times with the same results.

I end up on the side of the pool almost losing the dream. I kind of go to sleep and end up outside somewhere. There is a light covering of snow on the ground, but it isn't cold. I am trying to decide what to do when I see a gorgeous girl next to me. She is a tall brunette, and that really decided it for me. I lay her down and have her give me oral sex. I finish.

I have an FA wet dream. I am laying in front of a TV that has a special on how to avoid having wet dreams. I forgot what it said exactly, but it had some alternative that didn't end as grossly.

Then I wake up wet for real....great

      WILD

      Recall: good

I am taking a nap and laying on my back. I had woken up from dozing off and was laying there a bit (too long for DEILD). Suddenly, I felt the first round of vibrations. I don't move, keep my attention focused. Another round of vibrations and I determine it is okay to sit up.

I sit up and pinch my nose, success. I had trouble separating from my other body. Although I am sitting up, I can still feel the bed on my upper body. My vision is also very blurry. I stabilize for a second, and my vision clears. However, I am having trouble breathing. My real body is on my back, and I think my tongue may have semi-blocked my airway. I decide if it was a real problem I would be forced to wake up, so I wheeze and trudge on.

I open the door to leave my room, and I enter this white hallway. It looks somewhat like the scene from a previous dream. It appears like a white maze. I decide to just bust out the window and fall to the ground. I land in the courtyard area of a hotel. By now, my breathing feels normal again. I head across the courtyard to what looks like a little bathroom area. (I can't remember exactly what my goal was.) Eventually I find Mohammed and he greets me. I rub my hands together and spin as I respond to him. I remembered that I could try and go to Chichen Itza like all of the IOSDP people.

I say to Mohammed, "want to see something cool?" I divert my look and draw a circle up on this ledge. He gasps, as I look back. There is the familiar red glow. I tell Mohammed that we are dreaming an climb up on the ledge. We approach the portal and I say "ready?" as I grab his hand. I visualize a jungle and the temple as hard as I can. After a few seconds, I run forward. In the time I was visualizing, he thought he should start a countdown. The last thing I hear as we cross the barrier is "five" as he started counting down.

We end up in a jungle. The trees are green and relatively separated. A brown layer of leaves cover the ground. I run forward over the forest floor until there is a part in the trees. I look up and I can see the top of Chichen Itza, except it is animated. It looks like Simpsons animation. I am pretty excited for successfully teleporting here as I round the bend and approach the foot of the pyramid. Once we arrive there, it is no longer animated.

I remember something about a beacon that you are supposed to use at the pyramid. I point my hand to the top of the temple and focus. A blast of green energy shoots up into the air. It looks like a glowing green ribben attached to the peak of the pyramid. It slowly bends down into a green arch and disappears. I want to try a kameyameyah, and decide I can have fun while trying to signal other dreamers. I use my right hand and make a small circle at the top of the pyramid. I put my left hand into my pocket and pull out an arm that I expect to be like Portal. I don't look at my arm directly, but it just looks like it now has 3 fingers in the shape of the Portal arm. I make another circle, and a glowing, yellow outline forms.

I ball my hands together and get into a fighting stance. I get pretty low to the ground and focus my anger. "Kame." I don't feel anything yet. "Yame." I pause and slowly feel a tingle. Eventually I can feel substantial pressure and I release. "YAH," I say with full force. A white/yellow energy blast goes right into the portal. It then shoots straight up out of the other portal atop the pyramid. Eventually, it too bends down and disappears.

I decide to go on top of Chichen Itza to see what it is like. I take off by looking at the sky. After like 30 ft. I need to shift my power to my legs. The extra boost of speed makes for a landing with little finesse. There is a hole in the top that you can jump into. It only goes down like 3 ft, but then you can crawl into another small corridor. I decide I might get stuck and didn't venture further. There are no other DCs/dreamers about.

I start to leave and I decide to try some wand magic. I reach into my pocket and pull out a wand. I get a glimpse of the jungle and suddenly the scene returns to the bathroom. I didn't go through a portal, but it didn't really phase me. There is a half wall that NS and two other people are trying to climb over. "Winguardium Leviosa," and I lift them off the ground. They laugh as I return them to the floor. I want to try a killing curse on someone so I walk back outside looking for a DC that is being an asshole. There is a hotel pool and it is packed. At first glance, no one looks to be causing trouble. I don't want to hit an innocent DC so I give up. Eventually I start looking for women. I find a lady who is a little thick floating on a raft. She has a cute face, and despite being a pool, I can't find anyone else better. I jump on as I lose the dream.
