Sunday, August 18th 2013: "Class" I'm sitting in a classroom with many people, and it has something to do with cooking. The teacher is a younger female with shorter dark hair. We are sitting on the floor and have formed a circle. The spoken language is english. Next to me to the right is a friend I haven't seen in many many years. He lives in a different country. Now everyone gets an assignment to introduce themselves to the class and the teacher. My friend is very nervous. After I introduce myself, I look to my right, and my friend is gone. I get the feeling that he will do something bad. Sunday, August 18th 2013: "Finances" It is nighttime. I am in my yard sitting with a collague of mine, and he asks me if I can lend him some money. It seems that he wants only 50 euros, but I give him 100, and he looks very happy. A few minutes later I am talking to his son about something. Note: I recalled 5 dreams, but only wrote down 2.
Well this being a new account and all I guess some proper introductions are in order. I'm C.J., I joined DV about 2 years ago now in search of lucidity in my dreams, a goal that I was surprisingly able to reach sooner than I thought. My quest to lucid dream taught me a lot about lucid dreams as well as myself, though for some reason, after about 2 weeks of recording my dreams and training myself to lucid dream, I just kind of stopped. Why am I back? To be perfectly honest, it's because after a very long time of zero lucidity, I had a DILD. It felt so great to be lucid again, but I noticed something. I couldn't use any of my my dream powers. It was so frustrating that during my once in a blue moon lucid dreams I couldn't even do anything I really wanted to. At that moment I decided, I would restart my attempt of being a lucid dreamer, this time with a cool head and with my newly acquired knowledge about the world, my dreams, and more importantly, myself. It's good to be back ^_^
Welcome to my dream journal! I'm still relativily new to lucid dreaming. I've had some lucid dreams here and there by chance but nothing until recently purposely induced by any technique. My curiosity compelled me to surf the web and caused me to stumble upon this great site! I lurked around for a bit and tried some techniques to find something that worked. Trial and error caused me to discover a simple technique that made one of my first fully lucid dreams almost effortless! This success really motivated me and let me know that I can do this. So like many others, my goal is to master lucid dreaming. My goal is to dream about whatever I want whenever I want. Whose isn't! After a bit of thought, acheiving this goal comes down to mastering two things... Lucid Dream Induction Technique-to dream whenever I want Dream Control- to dream whatever I want Mastering my Lucid Dream Induction Technique My new lucid dream induction technique inspired me on this quest to master lucid dreaming. My technique is simple. I simply think "I'm dreaming" as many times as possible as I'm falling asleep. When I enter a dream, the very first thing that comes to my mind is "I'm dreaming" which immediately causes me to become lucid. As of right now I've only tested this technique once. But, it worked so well that I feel it will be reliable in the long haul. If this technique ends up failing consistantly I'll have to find a new technique but I'm convinced the former will work. As I have tested this technique only once, it might evolve over time if I find ways to improve it. Mastering my lucid dream induction technique and dreaming whenever I want means mastering these things... Technique Reliablity How reliable the technique is. The success/fail ratio. Dream Recall I know dream recall has nothing to do with my lucid dream induction technique but if I can't remember my dreams, I can't have any lucid dreams! Mastering Dream Control To me to be able to dream whatever I want to me is the essence of dream control. My dream control as of right now is not too good and is the place I can most improve. After a bit of thought, mastering dream control consist of mastering the control these things Environment The setting and all the important objects of the dream. Plot The storyline of the dream and all the characters, including myself. Dream Quality This is the quality of the vividness and the stabalization of the lucid dream. Occasionally to see where I am I'll give myself a score on each category (1-5) to see where I am and where I can improve. When I give myself a 5 in all categories I'll have achieved my goal! Here are my initial scores Lucid Dream Induction Technique Technique Reliablilty-5 Dream Recall-3 Dream Control Environment-1 Plot-2 Dream Quality-4 In future journal entries I will only post lucid dreams and a bit of commentary when needed. That's it for now, gotta go to sleep
Today, I am embarking on something that I am curious about. I stumbled upon this website, after much research on the Uberman cycle and I have decided to record my own experience in trying this sleeping pattern. Now that I have finished my A levels, I wish to take up my hobbies once again. Being an only child, I have many interests that I want to pursue and so it would be beneficial to have more time to dedicate to them. I have read that the Uberman cycle promotes lucid dreaming. If this is true, I would like to find out and post entries of my dreams, perhaps giving me inspiration to write short stories and paint scenes from my dreams. I shall attempt to remain open minded and factual about this, as I have been known to get carried away on flights of fancy. I sincerely hope that sharing this experience will benefit other people as well as myself.
Here I will post my dreams, both lucid and non-lucids. I shall try to keep orders with lots of tags and so on. Colour coded for your convinience: Non-Lucid Semi-Lucid/lacking in clarity or stability. Lucid Notes/thoughts/clarifications/interpretion is in regular black.

I dreamed that Brian and I were at the grocery store and we ran in to one of my students and his Dad. Then as we kept walking we saw another student and his Dad. We ran in to 3 more students with their parents. I have 7 students, we saw 5 or 6 with their parents. We only exchanged Hi's, I think I tried talking to one parent but they didn't say anything back. I was basically introducing Brian to my students. Mood: surprised to see all the kids there but happy that Brian could meet them.
Quantiq's Progress Journal! Introduction Hi Everyone! I'm going to start posting my Dream Journal on Dream Views to show my progress in terms of dream vividness and maybe provide some entertainment to those of you who want to read. Basically, my dreams just consist of small fragments and they are not very vivid, however, I hope that I progress to the point where my dreams become entertaining. I will also post goals, stats, and other cool stuff to monitor my progress. If you have any advice for me, let me know! Tommorow's post will consist of my recent dreams and how I am progressing. Cheers for now!

Welcome to my Dream Journal. I used to have vivid dreams all the time and sometimes I would have lucids. Then I had the HSC and then work so I ended up putting this on the topshelf. Until now !! My dream recall is absolutely terrible so keeping a DJ is a necessity for me if I want to start Lucid Dreaming again. I will be updating this online journal semi-weekly from my physical journal. As a sidenote I will also be attempting to become a polyphasic sleeper from Monday next week. Cheers, Adam.
Hey guys, You can call me Jason. I'm a 21 year old guy from Illinois. To keep this short (it's time for bed) I'll just let you guys know a little bit about me. I work in a gardening/brewing store as an Assistant Manager. I'm married. I love playing all sorts of sports and I love playing music (I play the drums). I'm a gigantic Bulls/Bears fan and I can shoot the breeze talking about things I like all day. I'm a dreamer and that bleeds into every facet of my life: writing, writing music, playing escapism heavy video games, and my love of roleplaying. I love anime and I really love feel good anime. I am a ridiculously big movie nut and could go on and on about good cinema. But anyways. I'm here because the idea of having even a semblance of control while I'm dreaming and having the ability or, at least, the option to do new and amazing things...greatly intrigues me. I want to do so many cool things. But first I realize I have to work hard for it. So with that said: wish me luck! I hope to keep this regularly updated. Thanks, Jason.
My recall is only beginning to rebound, so I still have very little. I do remember, however, trying each time I woke up in the night to slip straight back into the dreams. Now, either I nearly managed to WILD or I dreamt I did. Either way, the experience felt first as if I way lying in bed, disappointed that nothing was happening. I then felt a strange sensation all over my body in a way that I can’t remember well enough to explain. It was just as it has been in the past, except this time I recognized what it was and didn’t get as frightened. I then heard a voice, what to me sounded like my fiancée, who sleeps in the same bed I do. She was crying out or something, I’m not sure if it was in pain anymore, but it may have been. The noise kept repeating for a few moments, and then I felt sure that I must have been dreaming by then. I “rolled” up and into my room, intending to do a RC but not managing to. I was definitely dreaming at this point, but unfortunately I was concerned about the voice I had heard and immediately asked dream fiancée about it. She told me she had been talking in her sleep and that she was fine. It’s possible that I even told her that I was dreaming then, but I can’t remember for sure. I remember only one other dream, which is even now, twenty minutes later, is heavily fragmented. It had something to do with a baby that was wandering around. I somehow helped him by holding him up to an ATM or something.
