The Legend of Zelda, Asking for a present and trampling over New York as King Kong. (MILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

      A C C O M P L I S H E D!!!! Last ToTY and both ToTM December!!!

Sometimes I cannot believe my subconscious how it helps me! Dream Incubation works like a charm... pulled the Advanced II in a very easy way! And did some others too! Wohooo. Task of the Year done in less than a month an a half... just amazing.

I was in some weird house with people I did not know anything about. The house was very big, but even though from the inside looked like a house, it was an apartment. All the walls were gray, like made out of concrete without any painting. All the furniture looked kind of old and with a lot of dust. I was playing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess... And those of you have played, you know that Link transformed into a wolf in several events of the game... sure this was not an arctic wolf... just a weird type of wolf. I realized I was dreaming, because I did not know the place where I was at and because I beat that game years ago. I looked at my hands and they looked pretty big, plus the fact that my thumb was like a feet away from my Index finger, and my Index, was wavy. I stood up flinging away the ps3 controller but realized that I had half of one of the task done. I first visualized the game scenario to be around me instead of in the tv (did this in the past already, and if I am not mistaken, this was in other ToTM December, lol) I found myself into the game, but the game scenario changed, it was all full of snow, I could not even see a fragment of green on the trees. Link (either normal and wolf form) was gone, but the Twilight princess was still there, looking at me (for those who you do now know, she both rode link as a wolf and had something to transform him into a wolf if I recall well) I asked her to please transform me into an Artic Wolf, not the regular one. I heard her odd metallic laugh and she hit me with a stone until all I could see was the snow. My dream started to fade fast and I started to run, looking up in the sky, but I felt weird. I realized she successfully turned me into an artic wolf.

I saw a bush full of snow and I decided to hide inside of it, until I was completely camouflaged. I saw a weird looking orc
(hey, it is still a pray...) with a wooden sword... I jumped on him and started biting him until it banished. It actually banished instead of just dying and/or living a body. Advanced II done.

I now wanted to go back home and keep working on the tasks, so I closed my eyes a few times
(not during 10 seconds and neither wanted to try, that is an almost sure waking up... not for me) until I was back home, as a human, but I was confused and my dream faded.

I had a false awakening in bed, it looked like my bedroom, but I knew I was not in my house. Which helped me to turn lucid again. My wife was still in bed and I went to the living room. I started to look into some drawers for a cigar. I do not smoke cigars, but I felt I needed to do something with one, until I heard my wife moving out from bed and going to the bathroom. I recalled the basic task of asking for a gift. I ran to my wife and told her, "Can you give me a Christmas gift please?" She smiled at me and said, "Sure." She went to the living room and spawned a bag out of nowhere. She pulled three small alarm clocks. She said that those three were my gift. She smiled at me and said, "Look, it is 1:32 am" I knew in waking life it was much later, but whatever. I also sang a Christmas Carol. as I thought it was another of the basic tasks as well...

With both ToTM done, I focused on the last task of the Year. I was going to leave my house, and as I was leaving, my dream started to fade really quick to the point of almost awakening. I pulled off my best stabilization technique. Grabbing something from the Dream World and focusing on it. I grabbed onto the staircase handrail. It was metallic and very cold, lucky me! I started to see the dream again, until the dream quality went great again. As I exited the building, there was a doorman who said, "Sir, grab your free coffee!" I turned back and replied, "No need, I am sleeping." The doorman looked at me like if I was nuts. I took of for a small flight to make the dream quality increase.

I started to walk down the street and I was focusing on teleporting to New York. As I kept walking, I saw snow and turned right on a street and saw a ton of huge buildings. I was next to a random DC who apparently, was my friend. She said to me, "Look, the Empire State Building, and it is not destroyed!" It made sense to me in the moment and I grabbed it and started to climb it. I grew up in size like 10 times. My arms were as wide as the building itself, but I was still in human form. As I climbed the building, I started to roar and make monkey noises. After a while climbing, my arms started to become thick and hairy. Suddenly, my arms were covered in dark brown hair and so my entire body and kept transforming until I was an ape... and since I was giant, well, I was King Kong. I kept climbing until I reached the top. The very top of the Empire State Building was not bigger than my hand, and I started to roar even harder. There was a small speaker on the empire state building, and a very annoying intense alarm started to sound, it was like one of those apartment fire alarms. I heard the sound of jets around me and police cars on the street. I started to move one of my ape arms while the other one was holding onto the building. I knocked down a couple of jets and then, jumped from the building to the ground, smashing some cop cars. I was almost as big as the building and started to run, breaking other buildings around.

I started to run away from downtown until I was back to normal size again and (I believe) human again. I kept running and thinking what else I needed to do, but the dream started to fade even faster. I tried to save it, but I was feeling my body in bed and even hearing waking world noises until I woke up.

    2. miniature King Kong, kittens, and lizard

      by , 04-29-2013 at 11:12 AM
I dreamed that I got these pets for our kids: a miniature King Kong (real one), a couple kittens and a lizard. The King Kong was hugging the kittens not gently enough. My husband wanted to know why this choice of pets, and I explained that I thought they would keep things lively.

I at least know why the kittens. We went to a dinner party last night, and the hostess was telling us about a cat she was watching for friends who used to menace a fish in a bowl (the fish was also those friends). When they came back for their pets, they said they had in the meantime adopted three kittens.

    3. King Kong and Lisa Ann

King Kong and Lisa Ann (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

There was a creature that looks a lot like King Kong, except it's a smaller than the original, maybe 15 feet or so tall. He grabbed a female that looked like Lisa Ann in a black dominatrix type of outfit.

There were a few men that were trying to save her, and someone asked the question if they really needed to save her.

The reason why the asked is because if they did want to save her, they would have to save someone else, and so on. It's hard to recall, but it involved risking one person's life if you can't get to the other one in time.

The dream shifts where Lisa Ann motions entices me to come to her, and she said,

      "Let's keep this a secret....."

      OMG WHATtttttttttttttttttttttttttt

And she goes into a black hole on the grass next to me on the right. I was kind of confused, but I decided to go ahead and jump into the hole.

The dream shifts where I'm on a mine-cart, and the area around me resembles certain environments similiar to Minecraft. The perspective of how I see myself and Lisa Ann is interchanging between 3rd person and spectator mode.

I'm looking below as the mine cart is moving, and the DC that looks like Lisa Ann is looking at me. I see something is wrong here because she's passing through the mini-Minecraft buildings with ease, and I'm wondering how she's doing that.

She looks at me in a semi-lewd manner, but I never really picked up the habit of doing a reality check or just realizing I'm dreaming based on the phasing through buildings abnormality.
    4. King Of The Jungle

      by , 03-01-2012 at 04:15 AM
Urgh, I'm so fried right now. -.-;; I ended up drinking again last night with my friend M, I really need to take a break now.... But anyway, I had one dream, and it ended with what may be a false awakening, but honestly I'm starting to think I may have actually woken up but just been hallucinating for a minute before my brain fully woke up. Before I went back to sleep again after that (though I don't remember any more dreams) I was able to make myself hallucinate some things by focusing on them so I'm pretty sure this was the case, actually.

      #1 - King Of The Jungle [Non-Lucid]

The first thing I remember is trying to follow M to some strip mall restaurant, but on the way there there was a large space between the two of us and a bunch of old guys kept walking in my way really slowly and annoyingly. But I finally got there and ran into C, a kid I haven't seen since right after high school, but who I've known since the day care I went to before I started elementary school. I think I got caught up with him a little while we were standing in line waiting for food, but then it jumped forward to me being in the jungle. I got stuck in some kind of loop here.... I would wander through the jungle a bit until I ran into King Kong () And there would be some big smoke explosion or something (it's really hard to remember) that would make it hard to see him, and I'd walk off on some path extending directly outward in the direction he was facing. After a while the path would curve to the right and I'd just continue down it. Then it would start over again, and it happened at least three or four times, possibly more. I remember telling myself that this was just part of my daily routine, it was what I did every day before lunch. So on the last time I exit the foresty area and end up in a big open meadow. And I get a text from Linkzelda41! I don't remember the exact wording of the first couple texts, but he invites me to go to lunch with him and OpheliaBlue. I think to myself that I just came from eating with OpheliaBlue, but I could eat again. I ask him what they're getting and he responds with "It's a Mediterranean cuisine." I text back "Mmm. Where at?", but after that the dream ended.

Here's where the false awakening/hallucinations thing happened.... I woke up in M's apartment, sleeping on the couch. This was all EXTREMELY vivid. Way more vivid than any false awakening I've ever had, it was basically exactly like real life. Every single detail was correct, despite the fact that it was only my second time ever being there and my first time ever being there in the morning. When I actually fully woke up, the lighting coming in through the windows and everything was still exactly the same, and there was no lapse in consciousness between this part and when I was awake, it just switched. So I'm pretty sure I just physically woke up but was still dreaming.... Anyway, so I woke up. M was walking around the apartment holding a Gatorade bottle filled with what looked like marinara or pizza sauce. She looked at me and said "Hey, you up?" to which I looked around slowly and then responded with "I think I'm awake...." Though, this is also a sign for me because I've never noticed anything was up in a false awakening before, even the incredibly bizarre ones. So she holds out the bottle to me and says "At least we've got mozzarella wine! " I looked at her confused and she started talking about how she'd gone to a class already (she had class in a few hours) and some guy kept farting the whole time, and the other people in the class were picking on him and calling him some mean nickname, though I don't remember what it was. I laid my head back down on the pillow and closed my eyes while saying "That's rude." :< M hesitates for a second and then says "What?" and I open my eyes ready to say that I was talking about how they were making fun of the guy, but when I do she's not there. Everything else is the same. And I realize that I'm awake. o_o
    5. 9th Shared Dreaming Attempt - Marsupilama's Dream

by , 07-24-2011 at 03:00 PM (International Oneironaut Shared Dreaming Journal)
      Marsupilama's Dream

Then, out of nowhere, a guy appears behind the tree, scares the shit out of my cousin, and leaves. I asked him who that guy was but he didn't answer so we just continued walking. After a while we get to a park with a modern metal sculpture that sort of looked like grid. I started to climb up when I realize that a giant bum is approaching us from behind. He was like 6 meters tall and asked us whether we were the ones vomiting on his jacket earlier. Since we didn't, I told him no. But he kept insisting and I got a bad feeling so I started to climb down again. “What are you doing”, he asked, “Oh nothing, I just wanna stand on the ground instead of hanging in the air.” He came closer. As soon as my feet touched ground, I started running away as fast as I could. I noticed a little path that was to small for him to fit through, so I entered it and ran down. At the bottom I realized I was several meters below him which enabled me to look up and see him trying to get across the sculpture. He now also was a huge ape but the sculpture – which now seemed more like a giant fence – bought me some time. I went back up another way to approach him from behind, just to see that he climbed over the fence and looked for me in the wrong direction. I left the other way.

    6. King Kong Parade

      by , 08-25-1974 at 02:25 PM
Morning of August 25, 1974. Sunday.

This dream seemed extraordinary to me for a few reasons. One reason is that it was the only very vivid dream I have had that seemed to be solely in black-and-white at one point, even considering the amazing sense of depth perception and distance perception and orientation. The mood seems quite intense and with a purpose. Just before King Kong appears in a parade (non-threatening, apparently) there is a clear mood of expectation (similar to that of certain other types of dreams, but augmented). I seem to be very large myself (even bigger than King Kong) but seemingly disembodied and apparently invisible and viewing the scene from above, looking at the rows and columns of “tiny” people in the parade as well as the large group of spectators.

This scenario seems like some sort of special seasonal event or important celebration. Even though there is also an ambiguous “ancient Rome” feeling, the scene seems to be in a modern American city such as New York (although it also seems much like an area in La Crosse that I had not been to in years - near the post office - as such, we seem to be moving due north - though this would indicate the people are very tiny in proportion to this area and with the buildings implied to be much bigger than they are in reality). In a way, my dream seems like a nostalgic blending of the mood and “power” in the original “King Kong” movie from 1933 - yet there is no stop-motion animation feel at any point - it is quite fluid and realistic. None of the cheering and applauding people show any signs of fear. The size of King Kong though, is much bigger than his movie-implied size. The length of one of his fingers is probably as long as four people here.

This dream was the night before starting eighth grade. I guess I perceived that I would feel out of place or “overly noticeable” going back to school, on some levels (though I did not really expect a “dog-and-pony show” until graduation, though I only went until the first part of tenth grade publicly and got my GED without incident or ceremony). Still, I did not plan to monkey around too much. (Pretend I did not write that - and yes, I know, King Kong was not technically a monkey.)

    7. Dick Van Dyke Discusses King Kong and Godzilla

      by , 09-19-1971 at 03:19 PM
Morning of September 19, 1971. Sunday.

In my dream, I am seemingly in Burns Park in La Crosse where I have not been in real life since early 1967. The setting is larger than in real life though, as well as with a more rural feel. Some of this dream seems to have monochrome scenes, which is extremely rare for me (though another dream in which King Kong appeared also had seemingly black-and-white scenes).

In the park, Dick Van Dyke is casually telling me the history of the two movie monsters in a somewhat “realistic” way, and it seems we have a few different meetings over time, including walking along in a peaceful Autumn scene and sitting on a park bench for a time. He seems to have a walking cane during at least a couple of the meetings but not all. This was possibly influenced by his role as the narrator in the 1970 television airing of “Born Free”. He even relates the supposed “personality” traits of King Kong and Godzilla; a sort of comparing and contrasting discussion; and he does this quite cheerfully and patiently as my dream unfolds. There is actually no threatening appearance by either of the giant monsters. Again, there is mostly a sense of peace and cheerfulness, even optimism.

In real life, when I had seen a black-and-white picture based on the “real” King Kong (from the original “King Kong” movie) superimposed with Godzilla (from an issue of “Famous Monsters of Filmland”) to falsely imply that King Kong was not actually a silly-looking man in a costume in “King Kong vs. Godzilla” (as well as being much lager than he originally was, so that even Fay Wray, held by Kong, appears as gigantic, even bigger than a skyscraper) I somehow expected something more “realistic” regarding the movie. When I remarked on my memory of the magazine picture later, I commented “I like the dragon” (just to make conversation, really). Classmate Steve J nodded as we were leaving the classroom, and he said, “Uh-huh, that’s Godzilla” and I felt a bit embarrassed for not having said “Godzilla” even though Steve did not seem that condescending about what I had said.

Later on, when I actually watched “Kingu Kongu tai Gojira” or “King Kong vs. Godzilla“ in English (made in 1962 and apparently first released on the 26th of June, 1963 in America) on television, with my father, we laughed uproariously through much of it.
