      12/1/12 | Ancient Structure, Trees
      Exploring some long, ancient-looking structure still in use and well maintained. At least one large tree was being fed by a sprinkler.

      I am using this device to play my LBP2 levels every 2 seconds, as it is using “fake sackboys” to play my levels. The numbers kept increasing until I woke up.

      I can only remember one part. I became lucid for a few seconds while I was standing on the deck during some night, and I commanded all the lights to turn on everywhere.

      12/14/12 (L) Value: 2 | Frisbee

      Out in the Egyptian desert with the Pyramids, there was a HUGE sun statue in a small bowl next to the sphinx that was actually standing up. “That’s right, one gigantic f*****g headshot.” NCS threw the sun at the sphinx, and suddenly I was then playing Frisbee….in almost complete darkness. I’m like, “not this again!” Visibility=3ft, dark brown fog. “I wish this dream was a real, LUCID dream!” I said that because I was tired of the darkness. Sure enough, the darkness instantly lifted, I became LUCID, I felt the environment, everything became 100% vivid, and I could consciously play Frisbee. Before, I felt nothing. Now, I could feel everything, even the wind, except for my footsteps. I was lucid for the remainder of that dream. Playing Frisbee with some old friends and being lucid, I decided not to go shapeshifting, but to have a lot of fun with Frisbee. When I was nearly done, I set the Frisbee on fire when I threw it.

    2. 4/7/17 (L)x3 DILDx3 L2-,L2-,L2- | Car, Grass, Road, Bus, Explosives

      I don’t remember what happened in the first LD, but it lasted about 5 minutes. I know I lost lucidity due to being distracted.

      Second lucid: I spawned in a bus, got out, did part of the procedure, but didn’t do the stabilization half, or break through, so I remained at Layer 2. I did spawn a flat, 2D animated Princess Luna behind some barrels, but the product was half-assed due to being in Layer 2. I could not interact with her when I tried. Next, I got distracted by the bus and DCs. Around me was a curved, 2-lane road surrounded by field, which was surrounded by woods a few hundred feet out. (The trees were on the shorter side, and were deciduous.)
      Time: 1-3 minutes

      Third lucid: I did half of the procedure again due to distraction. I stopped a lot of the stuff going on at the beginning with a verbal command inside a church, but there were still a few left. I did not focus on the procedure enough to break through to Layer 3. I got distracted by a car that needed to be pushed. This car was on grass behind the church building. There was tall grass and scattered deciduous trees around. The weather was sunny.

      Later, I was at very low lucidity, inside a car that was strapped with explosives. I was trying to ditch the car safely, so that nothing else would be damaged.
      Time: 5-7 minutes

    3. 1/25/17 (L)x3 DILDx3 | Radiation, Moon

      This was close to containing 2 DEILDs(figured out how to do that again!), but there was a lapse in consciousness both times.
      -1-There was a guy demonstrating the function of the hiding compartment next to an item contaminated with radiation. It protected the user completely…in theory. However, it didn’t work, so the guy died. This was all inside a dark room of an abandoned, messy lab/facility. After he died, I became lucid. I did part of my routine, but forgot the second half of it, which was the stabilization portion.
      Time: 30-40 seconds
      -2-I was in an unknown house. My older sister was in an adjacent room, watching something on a TV. I noticed a package on a container. I opened it up, and it was a drill. Then, I tried turning on a light, but it didn’t work. My first thought was ‘power failure?’ and flipped a second broken switch. Then, I became lucid from an RC. I did the first half of the procedure then woke up again.
      Time: 20-30 seconds
      -3-Another light switch failure and a certain memory caused me to RC and become lucid once more. Here, a truck arrived at this version of the B.h. Also, I rose the sun back up when it set in the south. At the same time, the very large/close moon rose in the south with an incorrect light source direction. This time, I woke up right in the middle of my routine.
      Time: 30-50 seconds
      Total Lucid Time: 1min20sec – 2min

      btw, the routine I keep referring to is a lengthy one, increasing lucidity during the first half, and completely stabilizing in the second half. This has worked consistently for conventional DILDs. However, for WILDs/unstable dreams, I'll have to add in some stabilization time just prior to the routine.

    4. 12/24/14 - multiple LDs (out-of-body feeling)

      I slept on the family room couch for this one. Went to bed around 4:30. (Had an earlier nap in which my dream felt like it lasted for 1000 years. It was so nice.)

      This time, between dreams, I felt no vibrations/sleep paralysis, yet I still felt that wooshing feeling of my "body" accelerating upwards. My head felt intense pressure and a few of the times I "tried" to make myself go up further and it happened, even during the dream. I'm not sure why; it didn't seem to better the lucidity or anything like that. Each time it happened I thought, "So this is happening...why??"

      My stability in the dreams wasn't great. I felt myself waking/about to wake up several times during it, but I persistently went back to sleep. I tried to make the dream more stable a few times, though. I've read about people looking at their hands to do this, so I tried that, but it did nothing. I found that looking at my feet on the floor really helped, sometimes jumping while looking down at them. It would feel clear after that, if only for a minute or so. Several times, though, after all the effort, I was feeling like, "What's the point to all this?" because it was unstable to the point where it felt pointless.

      In the actual dream, i can't recall quite what happened. I know there were others "like me" in it. At some point when I wasn't yet lucid and was in a dream area of my school that I'd been in before, I was discussing with someone how lucky the younger kids were to have the school redone for them, just like the middle school. (while we were in the middle school it was under construction until the year after we left, so same kind of thing).
      Oh my god! Okay, I remember something I really don't want to remember because it involved me feeling really h---y toward another girl, and I was confused in the dream but was like, hey whatever, she's here! It only lasted > a minute because my mouth went somewhere and I felt my teeth touch each other on my physical, sleeping body. (Things like that kept happening, so I must have been 1/4 "out of the dream" or something.)

      Sarah was in my dream, not sure why. There was a sort of sense of danger throughout the dream, or like I was in a sort of competition with high-ish stakes. I don't know. Anyways, at one point I realized, "Wow, I forgot I can fly and get away from all of this." And I just flew up in the air and smiled huge because flying feels so freaking cool. I flew for a long time, so that's the last thing I remember.

      Things I tried: I finally remembered to try walking through walls. So that was cool, I guess. I went right through like everyone says happens. I tried something else, too, but don't remember what. :/

      I think my basic list of things to do has been covered!

      -met people saying they were 'of the dream world' (not really something i can "try" but including it anyway)

      Ohhh, I never tried the basic light switch thing! So I'll be thinking of more things to do for the next time I'm in an LD, hopefully more complex than walking through walls
    5. 3 Dreams, One night

      The reason I'm talking about all of these together is because they're all short and not super noteworthy, lucidity is somewhat questionable in all but one.

      First off, something that isn't a dream but happened.. I guess?

      As I slipped off into sleep I heard my mother say "Goodnight." or something along that line.

      Anyways, off to the actual dreams!

      First off, I had a dream (which may or may not be lucid) where I was wondering outside my bed. It was a fragment but suprisingly vivid for what it is. There was some sort of video game interface, think as if you were using the interface for Populous minus the big minimap. I've never even played a game of that genre so i'm puzzled. Perhaps I was wandering outside a sleeping body (In which case it may have been an OBE) or I may have just had a dream that started in the bedroom. But this did prove to me dreams could be in the third person.

      Secondly, I had a dream about a minecraft server. Someone with the nickname 'Surge' was on there. That's about it.

      Probably most interesting, however, is the one lucid dream I had if that OBE-type thing wasn't lucid.

      As so often happens, I was just in my house, and reality checks said I was awake, but the sky was yellow, which may be how I became lucid. Anyways, after this, I explored my house a bit. Dream control powers wouldn't work, and a sixth sense told me I had to leave, so I closed my eyes and left the dream. Also, we had a butler and a really old air conditioner that for some reason squirted water on the carpet.

      I think I had two others I didn't remember after I woke up, I still don't care because at least I had a lucid dream.

    6. Somewhere else in late september 2012

      1. Sort of a type of block arena where I punched miis and threw them over a wall.
      2. Narnia-ish. I can only remember the first visit, which involved leaving to use the bathroom.
      3. Nearly submerged into the dream world completely. Goldeneye 007 Wii Map: Docks. I picked up some black weights along with a cat. Moments later, I picked up an MP7, which was somehow connected to the disappearance of the dinner table.
      4. Briefly shapeshifted into a humantaur at a private pool.

      5. A friend was dropping me and a few others off at house "1c".
      6. I was is this expansive cave that was turned into a house. Then, I teleported myself to yellowstone.
      7. Looked west toward the olympic mountains. Considerably dark and cloudy.

    7. Most Terrifying Dream - Visitor and Knife-Based Pain

      Two hours after waking up today, I took a nap, because I was hoping to enter SP and have a WILD. Instead, I fell asleep normally and then entered multiple false awakenings. What happened next was one of the longest and most effed-up dreams I've had. When I woke up, I did a record amount of reality checks. Where in the world did this come from, why is my subconscious so demented, and why did it have to happen when I was attempting a WILD?

      It was afternoon. I was outside, and the sky overhead looked normal for the time of day. I was walking along the right side of my house, sandwiched between the house and a long, straight wooden fence that extended down it. This fence was ashen in colour and seasoned-looking, with uneven, ragged boards that were slightly pointed on top. There was green grass everywhere, and the exterior of the house itself was made of ruddy red bricks with light-coloured cement in between. I was headed to the backyard, where I "knew" the house's garage would be. When I rounded the back corner of the house and reached the yard, it was an extremely strange setup.

      There was the same, tall wooden fence as the one along the side of the house, but this one was much taller, probably twenty feet tall. It fenced in the entire yard on three sides, then connected to the fence I'd just walked along. Because of the yard fence's height, it blocked out the view of everything outside the yard, although I could see tall, normal-looking trees going at least ten feet past the height of the fence. The presence of the ridiculously tall fence and trees caused it to become darker in the yard, since there wasn't as much room for light to get in.

      I looked to the left, at the yard. There was just straight brick on the house; there were no doorways or anything to get in and out. There was just more slightly-overgrown grass, and the garage. This garage was painted white and looked rustic; a few patches of paint here and there were flaking off. The garage door was open, but I didn't see any cars.

      Then, someone from my school's graduating class walked out. I recognized her immediately, and she looked normal - she had long dark brown hair, freckles, and blue eyes. I had invited her over, and now it was time for her to leave. I smiled and waved as she walked past me, leaving through where I'd just come from.

      Then, I saw my dad walk up beside me.

      "Hey [Puffin], can you help me for a sec?" His voice sounded a bit muffled. I didn't think this was odd.

      He led me down the right side of the house, where I had entered the yard from. Once we got past it, the area wasn't the front yard or driveway of a house like you'd expect; instead, it was another backyard. The setup for this part is very hard to explain because of how complex it was. The side of the house we'd just walked down opened up into a square-shaped lot (probably 60x60 feet), completely closed-in by the same tall fence, and on the other side of the fence you could see more trees. A few of these trees even arced over the fence and above the yard a little; their branches and trunks were thick and gnarled. However, they didn't cast any discernible shadows of their own; the whole yard was just in one solid pale shadow, darker than the back yard. The terrain of this yard slanted up five or six feet towards the back of the lot, especially on the left side.

      In the middle of this yard, leaving three or four feet on each side for walkspace, was a big hole. The edges of this hole were smoothed out, and covered in grass, but then it steeply dropped off into blackness; it was very, very deep. Sometime when I was walking along the house, my dad had gone past me and ended up on the other side of the hole, in the far left corner of the yard where the ground was the most raised. Apparently he wanted to return to my side, but now the yard was littered with big, wide boards of slightly-destroyed wood. Most of them were irregularly-shaped, like the random pieces of paper a kid cuts out with scissors. My dad couldn't just walk around this field of wood, because they were filling the yard all the way up to the fence. But in the hole, there was a possible way to cross it. There were two very, very tall grey rocks with flat tops floating in the hole. Connecting the two rocks was a large, flat piece of dry grey wood. There were two other wood planks, and this created a bridge across the whole.

      On the middle plank, there was also a big, triangular-shaped rock that must have been four feet tall. It looked like it weighed a ton. My dad slowly made his way onto the planks (which wobbled a lot, and he held out his arms for balance, but he didn't look concerned). Once he reached the middle plank, he pushed the rock down into the big hole without any effort, and it disappeared. There was no way he'd be able to push it in real life.

      I decided to check in for the day and sleep. I walked away a few steps and looked at the brick wall of the house. Unlike before, when I saw no doors, now there was a basic white door with a gold doorknob. I opened it and walked into blackness. As I walked forward a few steps, I felt slightly numb, losing feeling in my body as I sometimes do when I'm lucid and the dream ends. And I did become slightly lucid at this point! However, the dream scene changed.

      I woke up in bed. But not really; it was a false awakening. I couldn't see anything around me because my eyes were still closed, but I knew the room was spacious and had a high ceiling that was painted beige, as were the walls. I knew the bed was an antique, with polished wood with fine details and rich colouration. I knew the bed had white bedsheets and a thicker white quilt on top of that. I was on top of the covers, lying on my left side.

      Immediately, I "knew" I was awake and resolved to DEILD. I breathed normally and stayed still. Although the third breath was a bit quicker and deeper than the others, which usually stops my DEILD attempts, I managed to get small vibrations rolling up and down my body. In the center of my vision, I saw a light blue square that was blurring in an outwards direction (almost like a tunnel). It expanded, and a blurry, pale scene formed in front of me. There were very abstract, blurry, dark grey shapes of people's heads and some desks. The only colors in this scene were darker, pale blue and greys. The scene then started to fade slowly as I started to fail the DEILD.

      As the scene faded, taking about ten seconds, I saw a very clear image in my mind's eye - it was a shoulders-and-up shot of a beautiful woman holding a baby up against her shoulder, one hand resting on the back of its head. I heard a woman's voice narrating something along the lines of, "most mothers prefer to hold their baby with two hands if they are pregnant." It was nonsensical but I didn't realize it.

      Once that image faded, I was back in bed with my eyes closed. I thought, 'let's try this one more time'.

      I managed to get the blurry square again, but it was darker than before and disappeared quickly, leaving me lying in bed again. I laid there on my left side for a few moments and breathed out normally. But I didn't get any results.

      Then I opened my eyes, giving up. I blinked once and looked up at the ceiling. Then, I suddenly heard an incredibly high-pitched, desperate scream, like something straight of a nightmare. It said, "don't look up!", and the "up" drew itself out into a long scream of its own. In the next instant, I was still looking at the ceiling, the yellow colors and window briefly flashed white like a camera had gone off, and I heard one of those sounds like in a horror film - it's like the sound wind makes when a big truck drives past you on the highway, minus all the mechanical wheel and actual truck noises. When everything was white, I saw the bright green outline of a tall church steeple, leaning over towards the right. This was in the corner of my vision. The 'outline' was most like someone had taken a simple photo and inverted the colors, so the blacks were white and the other stuff was green.

      The flash only lasted a moment, and then as the whiteness and church faded, I felt a momentary 'shift' or acceleration downwards, although I didn't actually move from the bed at all. It was like an invisible force had come into effect and was spiritually trying to pull me down. Then, I felt a hand strongly press me down into the bed, and roll me over onto my stomach, with the left side of my face pressed right against the bed. I couldn't see anything. At some point my vision had stopped working and everything had gone a dark, dark brown. My back was suddenly exposed and uncovered as I laid there, and then I felt a sharp blade slowly going into my back, dragging slowly along my rib. It started about four inches below my right shoulder blade, tracing along that rib. The knife was excruciatingly painful as it slowly cut its way through my skin, which seemed to give too much resistance to be realistic, but that only made it worse. I had never felt this much pain in a dream before. The cut went down along the skin and stopped when it got to the very side of my body. All the while, I was paralyzed, and I screamed like crazy.

      For a second, I became almost semi-lucid, and I broke free of the paralysis, but when I moved it, was like my bones were stiff and gelled together or something. I turned around, a bit more onto my back and looked at what was doing this. It was a hooded figure, with a black robe like the grim reaper, and surrounded in something like grey smoke. There was a thin, lighter brown woven cord loosely coiled three or four times around his neck; this cord was made of long brown hair! I wasted no time and growled at this creature and attempted to kick him away, but I couldn't move my legs anymore. I tried to punch him, but I was totally paralyzed again.

      He turned me over and proceeded to cut another line into me, slightly further down my body along the next rib. It was really painful. This cut lasted about seven seconds, slightly less than the first, but then I felt another one, a bit further down still. The whole time, I screamed, and as the last cut ended, I saw a flash of another brief image: my vision turned a solid yellow, and I saw three abstract curves that were larger on one end and smaller on the other. The three lines gradated from red to dark brown, almost black, and only took up about a tenth of the total area of my vision; they appeared off near the left side.

      For a brief moment during the cuts, I was aware of my sister lying on the bed beside me, and she said something like, "I told you so", but I can't remember the exact words. The words she said were laced with pain as if she was getting cut, too.

      The dream finally ended, and when I woke up, I could feel residual stinging in my back. I didn't get up immediately, nervous that I'd entered another FA. It took a lot of RCs and a few minutes of lying stock-still in bed before I could get up and shake things out.

    8. Feb 10, 2011 - Multiple Endings - Tsunami Camping Trip

      I am camping with my boyfriend and some friends from my rehab center. For some reason I just know that we are with a camping group that was organized by Camp Trillium (a sick kids camp that I attended growing up). My friends from rehab start lighting up their cigarettes. I point out the irony of smoking cigarettes at cancer camp (my nickname for Camp Trillium).

      People decide to go for a swim. The setting of our camp site is at the top of a ridge overlooking a beautiful river. They have to go down a few sets of ladder to get down to different levels of the steep ridge to the water. At this point in the dream I decide to take a nap outside me and my bf’s tent. I feel like I’m half asleep and I get very anxious like I am anticipating that something bad will happen. I feel like I need to pack up so I take down the tent.

      Next thing I know there is a tsunami. There are several large waves hitting the cliff side and the water level is getting higher and closer to us. My bf says we have to go. I try to finish packing the tent because I think we will need it for some reason. I look around and everyone else has already fled and I fear that they may have driven off without us.

      I think I woke up briefly and fell back asleep into the same dream.

      Now I am swimming in the river. I see large waves coming as the tsunami starts. I try to ride the waves and continue to try and swim towards the middle of the river. I am afraid that if I get pushed to the side I will get stuck between the waves and the cliff and I will drown. I keep kicking my feet and I now am holding on to a floating board (like I used to do in swimming lessons).

      I think I woke up briefly and fell back asleep into the same dream.

      Now I am back at the beginning of the dream. I find out that the ‘Betty’ that I met in rehab is the same ‘Betty’ that my bf bonded with while he was in a mental health rehabilitation program at a local hospital. She is not how I would have expected her to be. I can’t help but fell a little bit of jealousy because I know that he had a crush on her while he was in the program (before we met) and also because I know they share a special bond from having gone through this program together.

      I accidentally grab my bf’s camera instead of my own. I want to take a picture of a bunch of colorful caterpillars so I take the camera anyways so that I don’t miss the shot. A beautiful yellow butterfly flies by and I photograph it. I also take a picture of a white butterfly on a picnic table and of a gorgeous orange flower. Now I decide to go for a swim. I let myself fall backwards into the water. The water level is now much higher than it was originally. There is no longer a cliff; our camping ground is right on the water. I realize that I have my bf’s camera in my pocket. I freak out and get out of the water. I run to our yellow tent and start taking apart the camera and drying all the pieces. The camera now looks like his blackberry phone. It seems to still work. I keep drying the phone and I think I gained a very small moment of lucidity when I realize that the camera is now a phone.

      I wake up.

      Although it was just a very short moment of lucidity I am quite happy. It has been a long time since I have achieved any lucidity at all. I think it’s a start
    9. Conglomeration of Dreams

      Notes Normal Dream Lucid Dream

      For the past week my recall has been terrible, with me only remembering a couple of fragments. This morning I woke up and started thinking through a dream - still half asleep. Suddenly I realised, "I should be writing this down!" So I hurriedly turned over and started writing. Part of the dream was lost, the part I was thinking about before I started to write it down.

      First (?) part of dream was forgotten, but I recall entering a dark building. I was sure that I wasnt myself at this point, like I was inhabiting someone else's body. It was an orphanage, and I had the distinct feeling it was where I had grown up. Moving through the building, I found no-one about. Dumping my stuff (when did I get it?) in a room, I moved to another corridor and there was a guy who I knew in real life. Wearing nothing but a very short towel. Not being gay, this was not exactly a particularly pleasant thing for me to witness. "You must be looking for [his mother], here follow me." He led me to the reception (of sorts) and I knew that there was another part of the building behind it, that I didnt get to see. I was taken to a room, "Terga 4" (definitely saw that written down) which incidentally was the exact room I had dumped my stuff, and also grown up in (the person I was inhabiting)

      Dream Change

      Cutting grass in my current High School, although it seemed slightly different. I couldnt place why exactly in this dream. In any case, I had finished cutting two portions of the grass, and was just about to start the third when I was informed it was military property, and was as such dangerous. WTF? I moved outside the school, along a path. There was a box which provided electrical current to some wires, one along the first portion of the road, two along the second. I reached the start of the second portion the first time I walked along it, being led by a friend. The second time along, I was the one who was leading, and I'm sure we were being followed by a couple of idiots. At some point along the path I touched a wire to see if it was live It was before telling the others not to touch them. For some reason we walked on the part of the road that was narrower, on the grassy bank to the right hand side. When we got to the end of this road, there was a house.

      It was dark, or at least stormy, with an illuminated house opposite us, atop some cliffs. A river went by in front of us, making a bridge lower down the only viable way across. Luckily there was an elevator for us (me + several others) to go down. We had almost all managed to fit into the elevator, only two people were not in it with us. As we started to go down, the idiots who had followed us arrived. We touched the ground below, and the idiots cut the rope that would have allowed the other two to get down. Interestingly enough, I predicted this would happen.

      We had to get across the river, and once again I predicted what would happen next. The bridge broke. Luckily we were carrying the wooden elevator floor with us, and this allowed us to float. Unfortunately, I somehow fell over the edge and got trapped between a submerged post and the current of the river. Next thing I knew, I was floating near the house, and I remember a distinct feeling of WTF? How the hell did I get over here? I could hear the two friends who had been stranded up on the other side of the river, but not the friends who were actually in the river.


      Dream Transition, like a scene change in a movie.

      I was back at the first part I wrote about, but there were two changes: I was younger, and I definitely was myself instead of inhabiting another person. Were the two above parts of the dream linked? It would appear so, because there in the distance was the house, but it was daytime. Riding a tricycle, alongside a girl. We were both of about 7 or 8 years old at this time. Of all the parts I've talked about, this is the most difficult to remember. Things were fuzzier, more indistinct. I have no idea who the girl was, and I dont get the feeling that the major part I forgot explained who she was. All I know was that we were playing, and suddenly, she wasnt there. I asked no-one in particular, possibly my brain, what had happened to her.

      She had died.

      I suppose I knew already, but subconsciously. I think she died of cancer, although what variety wasnt explained. It was very sad, because it was like a childhood friend had died, and I didnt quite understand why.


      Dream Change

      Sitting down in the shower room, for some reason I put my thumbs on my nostrils. Breathing in still worked. Why? Had I not covered them properly? I tried again, sticking them right in, blocking my nasal passages completely, and yet I could still breathe in and out. With a sudden realisation, I was lucid dreaming! This was only the second time I could ever remember going lucid, and the first time with a conscious reality check, (albeit one I have never used before) and this made me pretty pleased. Feeling incredibly pleased, I sat for a few moments, relishing in the feeling of awareness. I was by this time quite tired of dreaming, I doubt I could have taken much more, so it was quite a relief when I woke up.

      Im completely happy with the Lucid lasting only a few moments, because it has happened only once before. My goal now is to have a longer lucid dream, where I explore being aware.
