    1. Epic Dragon Escapade

      by , 01-27-2021 at 06:39 AM
      Monday Night, 1/25/21

I was basically Sam Winchester from Supernatural. I was returning from a mission with a group of fellow hunters where we'd had to translate between various languages. I walked up to a linguist guy and asked, "Do we ever translate messages from the 21st language over the phone?" (I had knowledge from the dream the the 21st and "final" language was demonic and therefore forbidden, with few people who could translate it, but we needed it nonetheless.)

"Yes, we have to sometimes." The linguist told me.

"Right." I realized our plans and knowledge were probably being constantly intercepted, which would explain a lot about our recent troubles. I quickly cooked up a scheme. "Alright, we're going to steal the book from the source so we don't have to pass information over the phones anymore. Come on." I grabbed the linguist by the arm and led him down a corridor. The section of floor we were standing on was actually an elevator, which transported us rapidly below ground.

"Wait, where exactly are we going?" The linguist asked with great confusion.

"Just popping over to hell real quick. Don't worry, I do it all the time."

"What!" The elevator reached the bottom and opened up into a series of corridors. "I didn't sign up for this..." The linguist complained but I shushed him. The place looked more like the version from Charmed than Supernatural. I scurried down a corridor, apparently knowing my way around very well, and the linguist trailed reluctantly behind me. I came to what looked like a dead end. I put my hand on the wall and it opened to the central chamber with the book. Unexpectedly, the room was packed full of bad guys, as they were in the middle of a major ritual. Oops. I ran back down the corridors pushing the poor linguist back in the other direction.

We made it back to the elevator, which took us back to ground level. "Split up!" I told the linguist, "They'll recognize me but they haven't seen you yet." I ran off to the left while he ran right. I made my way down a long hallway and then went outside. Now I could see that we'd been inside a large, black castle. The kind you'd expect villains to live in, with intimidating Gothic arches and lots of spires.

I morphed into a young boy and clambered over the rocks surrounding the castle. In front of me was the sea, stretching out into the foggy horizon. I found myself climbing on the Statue of Liberty... or perhaps a replica of it, since it wasn't to scale. It looked like it had seen better days but it was more or less intact. I worried that I would be seen and hoped the bad guys couldn't look everywhere at once. I scaled down to the base of the statue, where I discovered that mermaids were carved into the green stone. They looked like they were just part of the statue but I knew from my dream memories that they were real. "Hey, remember me from years ago?" I asked one of the mermaids. No response. They appeared to be sleeping. Good. I recalled a group of allies warning me that when these mermaids smelled blood in or near the water, they could attack viciously. Is there any blood around here? I wondered nervously. It was late in the evening and I was crouching on the shady side of the statue, right next to the water and a sleeping mermaid. I couldn't see very clearly. I pulled out my phone, looking for the flashlight app. It took a while to turn it on since droplets of water kept getting on the screen. I was eventually able to confirm that there was no blood, however.

Relieved, I turned the light off and looked back out toward the sea, wondering about my next move. My phone morphed into a wizard's wand. Maybe I could use the flying spell? How's that work again? Then I recalled an in-dream memory of my "magic mentor" laughing and saying, "The so called flying spell is completely useless! It's a joke, really. If you want to fly, what you really need is a dragon." Oh, right. But where would I get a dragon? I happened to know that the bad guys had stolen all the dragons in the country and were keeping them locked up deep underground. However, there is one dragon I could get to. I looked back to the castle and craned my neck to see a large black dragon chained to the highest spire of the castle. This was, apparently, the personal dragon of the head bad guy, aka "the Night King". That is, he was magically bonded with the dragon, allowing him to command it.

At some point I morphed again to resemble my waking self. Somehow I managed to scale all the way up to where the dragon was located. I crept around to the side of the dragon at first, trying not to be noticed by it just yet so I wouldn't get fried. "What are you doing here?" The dragon asked telepathically.

"Getting you out of here." I said quietly and unhooked the chain around its neck. The dragon grunted in response, seeming disinterested. Dream logic said I would have to ride the dragon (without a saddle I might add) and that the only way to accomplish this, since I wasn't bonded with it, was to command it to fly first and then jump onto its back while it was in mid air. "Vlar!" I shouted, and the dragon spread its wings and launched itself into the air. I flung myself from the spire, flailing wildly in midair for a while before just barely landing on the dragon. This seemed to destabilize it for a few moments, but I hoped that as a relatively smaller woman the dragon would have an easier time carrying me than the Night King. Sure enough, the dragon's flight smoothed out soon after.

We were traveling in the opposite direction of the sea. I only had minimal steering control of the dragon, who informed me his name was Rijik. He was flying close to the ground and we were narrowly missing obstacles. I hope he accounts for the trees that could knock me off. I thought.

"Trees can't hurt us at the speed we're going!" Rijik replied, "They're like bugs in the wind."

Easy for you to say. You've got armored scales. And you're a dragon.

Rijik laughed but flew a little higher. "It's these pillars you should be more worried about." Sure enough, we narrowly avoided a series of tall, white pillars. By this point I suspected the dragon was purposefully messing with me. "Doesn't it feel liberating to have that castle so far behind you, a tiny speck in the distance?"

I glanced back at the castle. It did look a bit smaller, but we'd only escaped about 30 seconds ago and it seemed a little soon to be celebrating already. I would like for it to be much further behind us and much tinier looking.

After traveling a while in silence, I was about to suggest we fly up as high as possible, enough to get some cloud cover so we wouldn't be seen by any potential pursuers. However, I noticed a strange looking tree out in the middle of an otherwise empty field. It was dead and it had strange branches that curved out and then straight upwards like many fingers reaching towards the sky. In the center of this circle of branches was a big hollow with stuff piled inside it. "That's the Knob Tree." Rijik said.

"The what? Uh, that sounds kind of..."

      "What?"

      "Never mind."

"It's called that because of all the doorknobs."

"Oh right. Of course." Upon closer inspection I could see that the stuff inside the tree was, indeed, a pile of many doorknobs.

      Psi Power Tutorials-weird_tree.jpg

Up ahead, there was a gigantic palace in ruins. It looked as though it had been sliced vertically in half such that all the interior rooms were exposed, on every floor. Despite its condition, it loomed over us and gave me an uneasy feeling. It must have been nearly twice as tall as the black castle we had fled. It was built upon a mountain of rock, which functioned like a wall that even the dragon would have a hard time clearing.

A narration began, describing an event that had occurred long ago. Decades ago? Centuries? The Narrator said that the palace had been inhabited by an evil ruler. One man had, little by little, betrayed his own people in an attempt to appease this ruler. Each time, the man had a chance to redeem himself by recognizing how far he'd strayed from his moral compass, but each time he only sank deeper into self delusion. Finally, the man "fell beyond saving" (presumably in a spiritual or moral sense), and his last betrayal led to horrific atrocities. All the remaining people banded together and ultimately sacrificed themselves in order to ensure the evil could not persist any longer. They broke down every door to every room and placed the doorknobs of each door of the palace into the tree. I glanced back at the dead tree in the field and saw a sort of time lapse animation of the tree's hollow going from being empty to being piled high with so many doorknobs that they fell to the ground around it.

By this point Rijik had to fly almost vertically upward because we were so close to the palace. I got a closer look at what was inside the faded and crumbling interior. I was horrified to see that each room contained one or more pictures of smiling children, some so many that they were stacked on top of each other. Sometimes there was a photo of a parent next to them. In a few places there were cubbies containing small caskets. I realized the whole place was like a cross between a war museum and a mausoleum. I could see debris, leaves, and tiny spiders strewn about the floors and I wondered who had set all this up, how long ago, and whether it was still being maintained.

At last Rijik and I reached the top of the palace, but there was only more mountain and no clear way over to the other side. Climbing down to the roof, I saw an old woman. I realized she had been the one narrating the story. "Quickly, through here!" She said, revealing a hole in the rock covered by a curtain of vines. "They've already opened a wormhole to get to you." Great, wormholes? I thought, Now they'll be able to get to us just by knowing where to look and we won't be able to simply outrun them. So much for putting as much distance as possible between us. "There is one location that's safe from them," The old woman continued, "But the only way to get there is via a specific bus. There's a bus stop right down there." She pointed. "The next bus leaves in 3 hours."

I lay flat on my stomach and rolled through the hole in the wall, barely able to fit. I lost my grip and fell but luckily the drop wasn't far on this side of the palace wall. I could actually see the wormhole nearby (kind of like the ones from Stargate but without the gate) and I hoped I hadn't been seen already. Rijik must have found a way over the wall because I saw him fly past. The bus stop was tiny, and there was nothing at all next to it except for a little bush. Three hours waiting at a bus stop with the bad guys here any second? How can this work? I considered taking Rijik off in a random direction to kill some time and try to shake the tail, then circling back in time to catch the bus, but then I decided it would only increase our chances of being seen. We'd have to find a place to hide, much as I disliked the idea. I crouched behind the bush and started digging with my hands in the dirt, hoping to find a secret passageway or something. It seemed unlikely so I gave up shortly after.

I scanned my surroundings for other options. The coast looked clear, so I entered a random dark garage, as one does. A small metal case was sitting on the floor. Intel! I thought, and scooped up the case with delight. Suddenly light shone in from an opened door and two men in suits walked in. They looked kind of like Yakuza. "Hunters are so stupid." One of them said, laughing. "They're so good at picking up our little 'gifts' but not so good at finding anything of actual value." I'd be offended, but he's kind of right. We never questioned the conveniently located cases of intel. Darn.

Looking past the Yakuza guys I saw that Rijik had been captured. He was being forced to battle a red dragon in an outdoor arena. I assumed other dragons were in the area as well. The Night King must have brought them all here. I started hatching a plot to try to break them free and escape again, myself, in the process. Of course, my options were limited at the moment. Perhaps I could get close to the arena and convince Rijik to turn on the Night King despite the magic bond and then help free the other dragons? Rijik knew me a little now, after all, and the Night King had been abusive. I didn't know enough about dragons to know if that even had a chance of working, but it was my best shot. Unfortunately I woke up before I could try saving the dragons.

    2. Dead Crow

      by , 06-01-2020 at 04:11 AM
      Sunday Night, 5/3/20

Dreamt that I ended up in the ER due to some serious respiratory issues. They gave me a bed right next to a couple people infected with coronavirus. They looked like they could be dying from it. I asked the nurse if it was safe for me to be in the same room, especially in my weakened state. She told me it was fine and that "They're six feet apart!". I wasn't reassured, especially since it was more like two feet. Is this even a real hospital? I wondered. This isn't the right procedure. I then noticed there was no medical equipment anywhere, just cots. I laid there, fading in and out of consciousness, wondering if this was where I would die. At some point I found the strength to escape from the place when no one was looking.

An involved plot followed where I got captured by a sociopathic serial killer in an abandoned industrial building. I managed to hold him down at one point but worried I wouldn't be able to maintain control of the situation until the police arrived. I don't think I did. The police did arrive, however. Three cops entered the building. I switched to the partial perspective of the lead detective, an older man close to retirement age. He/I instructed the others to split off and make a little noise to fake out the serial killer so he thought we were all approaching from a different side. Meanwhile I went off a different way as quietly as I could. The surprise ambush didn't work. The killer was holding a gun to the hostage, who was now actually a cat instead of a person. He gave me the ultimatum of taking a shot to the head to save the cat's life. I got the information that this cop was depressed and felt empty without his work to look forward to. He/I took the deal and for some reason I knew that the killer would adhere to the bargain... because he was just that particular brand of crazy.

I somehow survived after taking four gunshots to the head. I was not in great shape, however, and knew I needed to seek medical attention. I staggered out of the building and into the forest at night, making my way down the path. I gradually became myself again. I came to a short, rustic stairway with a wooden railing. Around that area I noticed a few swarms of flies. I stopped and stared for a while from a distance. I wondered about what type of flies they might be and why they were swarming here. I crept closer to get a better look and discovered that there was a dead crow laying on its back and that's what had drawn the flies to the area. I stared at the crow for a few moments, then I stepped past it and continued a short distance along the path until I reached the edge of a college campus. The Narrator spoke, telling me that I was going to be alright. I turned my face to the sky as dawn was approaching and lifted up into the air, drifting above the campus. The Narrator gave me instructions on which direction to travel. It seemed odd to me that I was flying but I reasoned that I must be in some sort of virtual reality simulation. Yes, that's it, that's why I heard a voice. I figured.

    3. Where the Blue Door Leads

      by , 05-28-2020 at 06:38 AM
      Monday Night, 4/27/20

I was playing in the ocean along with one or two companions. "Come on!" I said, rushing headfirst into the water, swimming as fast as I could. I was half experiencing, half simulating the ocean waves. Upon realizing there were no large waves crashing over me, I began to expect them which then led to their creation and my experience of having large waves tumble me about. The part of me that was scared was drowned out (no pun intended) by my overall sense that I was perfectly safe. A female friend came along with me past the large waves. We were then rapidly pulled far out to sea where the waters became deep and calm. My mind offered up a couple practical concerns. Aren't you worried about dangerous sea creatures the longer you're out here? How far off is land on the other side of this ocean? Won't you get tired of swimming and drown? I decided it was best not to think of dangerous sea creatures. I should simply focus on not splashing around too much. As to getting tired, I found I was able to easily swim at a fast pace with barely any effort. Later we transitioned to walking and gliding along the surface of the water.

As night approached, the Narrator said that we would need a place to rest for the night. A dark blue door with orange trim around it appeared. I knew exactly what it was the moment I saw it. I opened it and we stepped through, into my room. Inside it was arranged a little differently than waking life, with bunk beds and a couple random piles of blankets, pillows, and sheets laying around, but it was still fully recognizable. I also found there was a second door which I could open to the rest of the house. I walked around in the upstairs hallway then went back into my room again. Strange. I thought, while my friend just seemed obsessed with playing in the blanket pile and rubbing her face against the pillows. I opened the blue door once again to see that, indeed, it still led right out to the middle of the ocean. "You can change where the door leads." The Narrator informed me. I closed the door and reopened it to try it out. It no longer led to the ocean, now it led to a random room. I closed it for good this time and prepared for sleep, though I don't think I actually did fall asleep.

    4. Dream Journal Entry 18: Restaurants, Minecraft, a fragment, a war, and more. -05-02-2013-

by , 05-03-2013 at 06:02 PM (The Land of Dreams - SilentEternity's Dream Journal)
I am currently sick enough that I could not go to school today. As such, I woke up at roughly 6:40AM and fell asleep about an hour later.

I experienced three dreams, one before that particular time, and two after, one of which is a fragment.

Dream 1: I was in a restaurant, in a mall. There were a few of my friends there, though I barely remember whom. I stood up, and walked to another area in the mall, where I found someone entering some door, to an area that was apparently a photo booth. I saw a bright light from the crack in the door, and they walked out wearing something completely different, and also wearing sunglasses. In a relatively-dark mall.

Two of my friends went in there, at different times, and the same thing happened. When the door was open, I could see that there was some passage forward for about roughly two meters, and then it turned to the left.

I did not enter myself, and turned to the left, and after a bit of walking, I found another entrance to this area. At this point, the walls of the immediate area had changed to resemble the stone brick block from Minecraft.

I had apparently made it my job to figure out what was going on. I had someone as an assistant, though I don't think they were anyone I knew personally IRL. I opened this other door, and stepped in, and found some pressure plate. I removed it, heard some whirring, and jumped out. As the door closed, I heard some high-pitched sound and the area inside was too bright to look at.

I had my assistant enter and exit this area twice. Evidently, the machine or room or what have you was now damaged, as the only changed appeared to be the color of her hair, both times.

I went over to the other entrance, stepped in, and apparently found a ledge covered in bags of chips. I knocked all of them down (there must have been thousands, to fill that area, and I somehow knocked them all down all at once), and exited the area. A friend of mine asked where I got the chips, and I just pointed to some area to the right.

At this point, the scene changed. It was an open area, floating in some bright void, though the immediate surroundings resembled this machine, which appeared completely wrecked. The front part was completely destroyed, but I apparently described it as the gaping maw of some monster. The whole thing also appeared as if it were in Minecraft. The interior was just an empty, unlit space. On the outside, embedded in the edges, were pieces of rock with glowing lines through it (If you have played the Thaumcraft 3 mod for Minecraft, they looked essentially exactly like infused stone). There was apparently someone else here, and to "mine" objects we had to jump up or down or hit the bottom of the block (by jumping up on the block beneath it). We reached the top, and the dream ended.

Dream 2 (fragment): I was at the house of one of my relatives. It was a clear, summer day. There was an oddly-constructed "outhouse" (which was more like a bathroom that was simply disconnected from the rest of the house, rather than an actual outhouse, as it had plumbing, lighting, and heating). We had found a dead woman in this place, though there were no injuries of any description. As we were trying to figure out what to do, she apparently got back up. I cannot remember what happened between this and the next part, however.

We went back to the "outhouse" and found her there again, once again "dead." There was some pole, about two meters long, suspended from the ceiling on a string and swinging around the room somewhat. She got back up again, and some other girl, apparently her daughter or some such, also appeared out of nowhere. I cannot remember anything else, though I do remember there being more.

Dream 3: I was in a room, part of some "palace" (though it appeared to be a hotel of truly bizarre design). Outside was a series of seemingly-random hallways and doors, many of which would lead to rooms that would qualify as closets, assuming they were there. This particular dream constantly swapped between two different scenes, one in this "palace" and one in a snowy forest, trees separated by wide paths and clearings. It was apparently being narrated by a kobold, though I never saw it. There was some war going on in this forest. The narrator said that he had betrayed his people by being a spy, and was responsible for their defeat or some such. The scene kept going to someone running around a clearing, full of large igloos, firing some kind of weapon, which apparently fired some large, green projectiles. This person, apparently the leader of the narrator's people (and also apparently Gangrel from Fire Emblem: Awakening, judging by his appearance), kept randomly firing up into the air.

If that was their leader, I'd hate to see their soldiers.

Anyways, the scenes back at the room in the "palace" varied in content - sometimes I would head outside, and it would be a clear sunny day. Sometimes I would be in the hallways, almost always going back from a bathroom to the room, and sometimes I would just be in the room, too sick to do anything, and drink something. The narrator would always speak during this, too.

Said narrator went on to say that he had asked a general, apparently Yoda, to tell him where their troops and refugees were - and would send it to the enemy leader.

At this point, I apparently knew that the enemy leader was Bowser, and that he was currently at the other end of this "palace." I cannot remember anything else.
    5. With my First GF; The Hospital Guy

      by , 07-18-2012 at 06:17 PM (* The Sandman's Dream Journal o/***)
I was with my first girlfriend. We were watching prisoners who were chained up and on display busting up rock. We ended up taking one with us. He was a blond guy.

I started talking to him to make him feel comfortable, and to make me feel comfortable. I was kind of afraid of what he might do.

We started playing a video game, though I don't remember anything about the game. Then the guy turned my attention to someone. He said I'd be interested. I turned and saw a fantastic blonde girl with curly hair playing piano.

At first she was playing Pinball Wizard. When I looked at the music, it was Wish You Were Here. I told her I've been listening to that for weeks now, which is true in waking life.

I noticed she had one hand in a cast. Then I looked back at my girlfriend and she put her head on the guys shoulder. I looked at her disturbed and she stopped. I was very jealous.

Then I started trying to play a video game again. Then I was trying to put something down on a table, but there was urine on two or three of them and I had to carry whatever I had.

      Dream Skip

I'm in bed with a few people--guys and girls. I am trying to touch this girl next to me in a way that nobody will notice, and so the girl doesn't get mad. I am hoping for a sign that she doesn't mind.

I end up touching my vagina, (I'm a hetero guy in waking life) but I didn't feel it. It was as though it was someone elses, but now there was nobody there.

      The Hospital Guy

I was with my brother who was pissing me off as usual. We don't speak anymore in waking life. I/we were packing up our stuff to move or something. He finally left and I was glad.

Next thing I know I'm going down the road with all my stuff in a car. I let two pieces of trash drop onto the highway (I never litter in waking life). My car is now stalled. I pick up one piece of trash and put it back in the box where I had it. I open the door to steer the car to the side of the road while I push the car.

My friend MJ is at a garage or something on top of the hill above where I'm pushing my car. He tells me to remember Saturday. I asked what we were doing Saturday. He told me, and I repeated it a couple times, but I can't remember what we had plans to do.

      Dream Skip

I'm in a big, empty room. A guy is starting a hospital. He had worked in a hospital, but now he was starting his own. The story was, he had wanted to, but couldn't. Now his mother was dying, and so he started his own hospital to work on her. I heard the explanation from a narrator.

Again, the room was empty. The guy was cleaning up the place getting it ready. I saw a cleaning solution being poured onto the floor, but it was being poured on a cup at a time.

It was like a thick soap, and it was thrown onto the floor in different colors. It landed with a slight splat pattern. More and more was being thrown onto the floor until it was mostly covered when the dream ended.
    6. Eating a Leaf, Rampage & Angels

      by , 05-17-2012 at 11:15 AM (Zoe's weird things)
      Leaf Tastes Like Chicken

[This one happened at 3:45AM, which is really unusual for me, my LDs are almost always in late morning]
[I kept repeating "In the next dream i'll realize that i'm dreaming" while falling asleep... somewhat like MILD, and it worked ]

I was in school, where i got lucid by an old classmate of mine, who had a country flag and a nickname floating next to his head... kinda unusual i'd say.
The dream was surprisingly clear, considering that it was during the night, but i felt somewhat dizzy for some reason.
The first thing i wanted to do is get out of the school. I looked at a tree from the window and immediately found myself in our garden, looking at another tree. I didn't mind because i got outside at least.
I took a leaf from a bush and flew up in the air immediately. I started chewing the leaf, which tasted bitter like before. Then i decided that it should taste like chicken. It took only a moment until the taste changed, now it tasted exactly like grilled chicken, it was really nommy... too bad it was one single leaf...

I kept flying above our garden in circles, while admiring how nice everything looks. During one of the circles i made in the air, i noticed our cat, Buci walking down in the garden and looking up at me... [This made me a little sad, because she is actually missing since 5 days in real... she was never away for that long before... ].
I was going around for a while, enjoying the flight, but then i woke up as i unintentionally thought about the possibility of waking up... of course it happened.

[I was so hyped because of this dream, even while it was short.. because i thought that i won't get a single LD this week. I couldn't fall asleep literally for 2 whole hours after this...]

      ----------------------------------------------------------------------

      Icy Rampage, Angels

[I woke up at 9:50AM and my first thought was that i didn't get another LD yet, even while i did a WBTB. This thought was enough to get me an LD soon]
[This dream happened at around 10:20AM]

I don't know what exactly got me lucid, i don't remember anything extraordinary.
I was on a street in our neighbourhood, where a lot of cars were going by. During my sleepless hours i decided to find and talk with a DC in my next LD, and this was in my mind here.
I noticed a guy standing close to the road, looking all bored. I walked up to him and got a sudden thought that i should posses his body... [I don't know where this came from].
I didn't possess him after all, but i wanted to talk with him. Althrough when i walked closer to him, i got distracted by the thought that i should do at least one of my personal tasks for the competition thread on DV.

I decided to wait with the chat a little and try to transform myself partially. [I didn't try full transformation yet]. I was wondering a little about the possibilities, but then i got a good idea.
I decided to turn my hands into ice... I held them in front of me and focused, but they didn't want to change at all. I thought i'll do it the easy way then, i put my hands out of my vision and thought about them turning to ice. When i looked at my hands again, it definitely worked. They were made out of solid ice, with ice spikes coming out of them all around. It looked nice and flashy in the sun

Somewhat like this, just more spiky.

I got a little crazed [which happens sometimes in my LDs] and i went on a little rampage. I started creating some magical ice spikes with both of my hands, then i kept shooting those at the cars that were close to me. I did it for a while, but the cars never turned to ice as i expected at first. The spikes just left some icy scars on them, but that's it.
I noticed some kind of long racing car passing by... The driver was clearly visible as the car didn't really have a cover... it looked like a desert vehicle or something.
I got the urge to throw him out of his car, so i went to the car and picked it up with my hands. I turned it around in the air and the driver has fallen out of it to the ground. Then i just thrown the car away.
He had a helmet, but i still knew that he was surprised by what i've done.
I walked close to him and decided that i'll talk with him then, since the other guy already disappeared.

      - Hello there. How are you?
      - What? Why did you do that?
      - Well, i just wanted to talk with someone.
      - Oh.. how nice of you.
      - Well, don't be that upset...
      - Of course.. of course..
      - You know.. you seem like a really smart person, who knows a lot, so it would be nice to talk with you.
I couldn't keep myself from laughing in my mind and think that he is just a dumb racing car driver DC... Of course he heard my thoughts... but it was too late already.
      - Sir, no. I won't talk with you. I'm not that easily fooled! /crazy laugh/

After that crazy laugh, his face turned into a hyena's face, and he kept laughing like the hyenas from Lion King...
I wanted to turn him to ice or something for calling me a Sir and refusing to talk with me, but i decided against it... no need to hurt every DC that doesn't agree with me
I flew up in the air instead and decided to go on. I was looking at how awesome the sky looked, it was filled with tiny clouds all around.
Then i noticed two clouds moving fast far away in the sky... for some reason i thought that there must be some angels there and it would be nice to borrow some wings from them...

Just as i thought this, i turned around and noticed some clouds really close to the ground, with angels standing on them. There was also a jungle of some kind next to the clouds and it was really dark in there.
I flew to the angels and noticed 6 little angel girls, all looking differently, like they represented a different element... fire, water, air, earth, darkness, light.
There were some grown up angels as well, they gave some kind of instructions to the little ones... i just knew that they will be teached to keep the balance of the world with their powers.

They actually called each of the angels by their names and introduced them to eachother, but i don't remember all of the names. The earth angel was called Nidalee. [A champion from League of Legends is named like that... yeah i played that game too much these days, it influences my dreams ].
Then suddenly, once they introduced Nidalee, she flew past me at high speed and disappeared in the jungle. One of the grown up angels yelled something like "We knew it, she broke the balance! Try to find her before it's too late!"
Everything started getting darker just as she said this.

I decided to fly after her in the jungle and the other angels joined me as well. As i got to the jungle, suddenly i heard a narrator voice, who kept talking about the battle of the angels... It was just like if the voice would be reading a book. I was distracted by this and just lost my focus on myself.
The narrator said something like "She was weak and couldn't do much anymore... she was just laying there, helpless..."
Just as he said this, i've seen everything from the eyes of someone who was laying on a huge tree branch.
He continued: "She couldn't see anything other than the assassin, Akali, standing in front of her, sweating because of the hard battle.."
[Akali is also a champion from League of Legends... ugh... i really need to play it less ].
The narrator continued again, while i heard loud noises of battle coming from the dark jungle: "She didn't see the assassin anymore... she didn't see anything. The poison worked fast and it was too much to bear........."
My perspective suddenly changed to a "flying camera" like and it slowly moved towards another huge branch, where a shotgun was placed. This was the last thing i've seen before i woke up.

[I didn't really do what i planned for today (meet Amy Lee), but it was fun anyway. That angel part of the dream was weird, especially the narrator thing, but i kinda liked it... It was like i lived a book or something ^^]

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

This dream was really really really weird. I wasn't in it- I was just floating around and follow the voice of a narrator. For some reason, I also feel like I've had this dream before or maybe it feels like its not the first time the narrator told this story.

"Back in my day, the planes where a lot different. If they had two boosters on them, they would also blow up faster then the speed of light."

There was a metal plane that was just sitting there broken up in an old swamp. It lifted out of the ground as the narrator talked about it. It started to spin around in the air, then when it stopped it had two boosters on it. The plane caught on fire and blew up like he said it would. After it blew up, the plane turned back into its normal self, only this time with just one booster. It worked fine and flew around a little bit.

"[I forget the men's names] had a plane with two boosters on it. When they were flying over [forget the area name], it blew up and they had to take cover in the hidden area that was saved for just this purpose."

These two men started to walk out of the wreckage of their plane, and walk towards a cave. It was dark inside, but as they walked into it, it got brighter. You could see there were skeletons of dead people in the cave, but they just kept on walking past them. They opened up another part of the cave, and they found a girl inside part of it (I never actually saw her, the narrator just talked about her).

"The girl was trapped in here for 7 years. Things like that happened all the time during the World War Two. People didn't think it would last this long."

One of the soldiers went into another room that someone dug out, and he took a can of tomato sauce and started to eat it.

The dream morphed into me being in the stairway of my house- but I'd rather not write down that dream.

    8. Lucid Dream #32

      Lucidity: 7/10
      Vividness: 6/10
      Length: ~2 Min.

I was in a white room and a statue was talking to me. A very strange girl started to act like a narrator saying that I was very scared. But then I kept saying to myself "I'm not scared, I'm not scared, I'm not scared" Then the creepy stuff went away and everything was alright.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was climbing across a giant bookshelf (I think there were books but I'm not sure) while a narrator with a really cool voice told me the story of a princess and a prince who had married each other without being in love. To compensate they bought each other really expensive gifts. I could see really expensive jewels in the bookshelf. Later there was a war and the princess divorced the prince and then she married another guy who was a hero. After reaching the end I began climbing across the bookshelf again and heard the first part of the story again but the section where I had been told that the hero had married the princess was now blocked.

Notes: Nice! I didn't expect to remember anything in new year with how little I slept.

Dreamsigns: The narrator, jewels from the story and why was I climbing a bookshelf?
    10. "Hot Stuff’s Day Out"

2 minutes 30 seconds to read.

Saturday morning, 16 November 1974. (Reviewed Sunday morning, 28 August 2022.)

      "
      Hot Stuff's Day Out"

      Dream # 2,889-01.

My dream begins in an unrealistic version of my Cubitis bedroom. There is no west wall, so the room is open to the outside. The house sits atop a hill that overlooks a forest in an unknown region in daylight under a blue sky.

I walk to where the floor ends. Instead of my feet slipping forward with me falling backward (as occurs in the first post-hypnagogic dream of every sleep cycle), REM atonia results in vivid vestibular-motor phasing with the blissful sensation of somersaulting down the hillside over the tall grass. The event has the essence of slow motion.

After I stop somersaulting upon reaching the foot of the hill, my dream self’s imaginary body temporarily modeling my sleeping position at this point, auditory phasing initiates as one of the only “narrators” I have experienced in the dream state. (Otherwise, such a transition is typical, as vivid phasing responses often occur with linearity. For example, hallucinatory vestibular-motor phasing triggers hallucinatory auditory phasing here.)

The unseen narrator, speaking in a loud unfamiliar voice with a British, Australian, or New Zealand accent coming from an unknown overhead source, does not express awareness of my presence. He seems to be engaged in a formal voice-over for a PBS documentary. I look up and see a statue several feet away that resembles an Easter Island statue, except it is only about eight feet high. The narrator talks about “African gods.” (Yes, I know Easter Island and Africa are in different regions of the world, but dreams often render falsehoods to prevent confusing dream content with real-world aspects.)

In my dream’s final scene, I watch three unfamiliar male explorers (probably in their forties) ascend the hillside. They are wearing beige safari outfits. I am on a cliff without the implication of having climbed up (no slope navigation, otherwise regular in my dreams). I enter a cave with the men, though they seem unaware of my presence. (One of the men vaguely reminds me of Abel from DC’s “House of Secrets.”)

An adult version of Hot Stuff the Little Devil (a Harvey comic book character) walks out from a deeper part of the cave to greet the men. The men appear terrified, remaining motionless, but I find the situation hilarious. The amusing “devil” wears a diaper (as in the comic book). There seems to be no threat, only a curious comedic essence. (A demon or devil would not otherwise appear in a lucid dream or most dream states with any level of self-awareness because of conscious bias, that is because I know they do not exist.)

My vestibular-motor phasing response resulting from REM atonia has occurred throughout every sleep cycle since childhood. Managing this physiological event or integrating spontaneously into the phasing effect is unrelated to the misconception of “astral projection,” a term that a legitimate lucid dreamer would never use.

Statues are a fundamental response to my intuitive, metacognitive, or lucid recognition of REM atonia that occurs throughout all dreams in healthy people. This attribute was one of the first natural and self-evident properties I recognized about “lucid dreaming” (or any mode of dreaming) at age 4, long before I heard the term. (On a side note, someone who “interprets” dreams in contrast to recognizing causality could not be a lucid dreamer despite any claims they might otherwise make.)

In addition to statues being an intuitive or lucid response to REM atonia, caves also regularly appear. However, it is often in induction rather than an outcome (as in this instance). Caves are how I intuitively (or lucidly in hypnagogia or post-hypnagogia) perceive my entry into a deeper sleep.
