Dream recall from today's nap.

Dream 1(fragment):

I was in my bed and i was outside and i was looking at some random pigeon.

Dream 2(fragment):

I was in my room and i was having some problem with cables and speakers, location of everything on the table was messed up, like one of the speakers was hanging on the lamp somehow(i don't even use speakers IWL), but i thought it was normal. After a while there was weird sound coming out of somewhere. I checked the speakers but sound was getting weaker. I decided to check the lamp, and sound apparently was there. I suddenly remember that this sound is very familiar, and sounds like binaural beats, but i don't have headphones on, which means i am dreaming. Dream fades out though before i can do much and i wake up.

(Note: I was recording several dreams today into my DJ from my notebook and noticed that there was a page in the middle of the notebook that was curled up. I flipped to that page to find some scribbles about a dream. I have no idea what day it happened, but this notebook is only about a month old.)

I am at my work bench, disassembling and trying to repair an old pair of home stereo speakers. The foam surrounds are all rotten and I am trying to fix them with duct tape, but it's not working too well. They sound very crunchy when connected to the stereo.

I open a speaker web site on my laptop and order some replacement drivers. Once I enter my address and credit card information, I click the “Place Order” button at the bottom of the screen. Instantly, my doorbell rings a couple of times. I open the door to be greeted by a smiling UPS delivery driver who is handing me a couple of boxes and his signature tablet. I drop the boxes on the floor and sign the tablet.

I open the first box and it has a brand new woofer in it. I set the woofer on my bench then notice that there are several other speakers in the box. Dumping out the box reveals about a dozen speakers in various states of disrepair. Some of them have no cones at all, and others are full of holes. One of them has no magnet at all and is rusty. The second box is full of Styrofoam peanuts and nothing else.
